Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an air-based flyer, comprising: a food preparation chamber (1); an air moving device (2) for moving air in the food preparation chamber to generate air flow; a heating device (3) for heating the air flow generated by the air moving device (2) so that the heated air flow can heat the food; an air filter (4) adapted for filtering air from the food preparation chamber (1). The air-based flyer according to the present disclosure avoids discharging fume into the surroundings, and can take away water vapor generated upon cooling timely and improve the cooking quality.

Abstract: A domestic food processing apparatus is for rotary food processing, in which a food temperature is controlled to be in the range 50.0 to 75.0 degrees Celsius during or immediately after processing. Food such as fruit or vegetables may be processed, for example blended or juiced. The heating process is used to deactivate ascorbate oxidase so that it does not break down vitamin C after the fruit or vegetables have been blended or juiced. The temperature is high enough to provide deactivation of the ascorbate oxidase but not so high as to destroy the vitamin C by overheating. An ultrasound system (28, 30) is used to generate heat and also turbulence thus giving a combined stirring and heating effect, and the stirring effect partially destroys ascorbate oxidase activity through mechanical processes in addition to the temperature dependent effects.

Abstract: The present invention is a western style toilet seat and lid assembly, containing an integral urinal. The most basic embodiment presented herein features a front opening in a modified toilet lid, positioned directly over a rigidly attached urine pan, forming a urine receptacle conveniently located for standing users. Another embodiment features a removable and collapsible “dry” urinal cartridge, and a self-engaging lid braking system that allows users to quickly adjust the urinal position to their height.
