Publication number: 20080229960Abstract: A method is used to set a contact pressure between a displaceable roller and another roller or for moving the displaceable roller with respect to the other roller. At least one actuator is subjectible to the action of a pressure medium and presses the displaceable roller toward the other roller with an adjustable force. The pressure of the pressure medium can be adjusted by a valve. A switchover device is provided for use in connecting the valve to different actuators, as desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 28, 2008Publication date: September 25, 2008Inventors: Georg Schneider, Bernd Klaus Faist, Peter Jentzsch

Patent number: 7421947Abstract: Roll-forming apparatus is provided together with a conveyor system utilized to transport raw dough rolls. A stop gate is movably positioned in the path of the rolls and, when placed in an interfering position, temporarily stops the rolls while the rolls maintain sliding contact with the conveyor. An imprinter is positioned above the conveyor and adjacent the stop gate. The stop gate is subsequently moved to a noninterfering position to permit the rolls to pass to the imprinting drums where the rolls are formed into a desired shape.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2007Date of Patent: September 9, 2008Inventor: William Roy Bryan

Patent number: 7418901Abstract: A dummy work (DW: a work for printing a reference necessary for subsequent printing) is moved to a printing position while the dummy work is fixed to a work alignment mechanism 2, and solder printing is made. The printed dummy work is then returned to the work alignment position and its image is taken by image processing cameras 7 and an image of position coordinates of a solder bump specified for alignment is stored. Positioning of subsequent works W is conducted on the basis of the image of the dummy work stored and solder printing of the works is subsequently made at the printing position.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2005Date of Patent: September 2, 2008Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Atusi Sakaida, Toshihisa Taniguchi, Norio Goko

Publication number: 20080196614Abstract: A method for fastening plates onto an imaging cylinder, and an apparatus that includes one or more clamping devices. Each clamping device includes a clamping bar and an air hose that when inflalted lifts the clamping bar so that one end of a plate can be placed between the surface of the clyinder. The imaging clyinder includes magnetized elements on or close to the surface. A metal bar is placed on the plate near the magnetized element to hold the plate that is already clamped at one end. The apparatus is operative to fasten flexible plates, metal back plates and non metal back plates onto an imaging cylinder. Embodiments of the apparatus can work with plates of different material, thickness and format onto an image cylinder.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2008Publication date: August 21, 2008Inventors: Jorg Koberg, Jurgen Andresen

Publication number: 20080190313Abstract: A method for managing motor components is performed such that, while one of the motor components is held, identifying information, such as a two-dimensional code, for example, is printed on a printable region on a metal surface of the motor component by discharging ink from a printing head toward the printable region and relatively displacing a position at which the ink reaches within the printable region by moving one of the motor component and the printing head relative to the other. Then, the identifying information on the motor component is read. The identifying information that has been read is stored for each of the motor components. Based on the stored identifying information, the motor components are managed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2008Publication date: August 14, 2008Applicant: NIDEC CORPORATIONInventors: Atsushi MUKAI, Kanji KUBO, Tsutomu FURUKAWA
