The system also includes a locking mechanism secured to the board through a second pivotable fitting at a first end and configured to rotate at a second end opposite the first end between a storage position extending parallel with the board and a work position extending perpendicular to the board.

When utilized to form a trestle-like assembly, such as a table frame, two or more vertical supports are bolted to two or more stretcher bars spanning the vertical supports. When these components are in their collapsed configurations, they can be interconnected. The grips on the first skirt provided for lifting that side of the apparatus while the casters on the opposite skirt enable ease of apparatus movement with the first skirt lifted. The lockably hinged legs are prevented escape from the collapsed position by the c-clips and the keeper rod. Legs are spaced inwardly from the skirts to aide in apparatus support while legs are extended or collapsed.

Abstract: A latch assembly connecting a leg of a table to a table top comprises a housing assembly comprising a housing and a cover, a pivot mounted on the housing and pivotable between an upright position and a pivoted position, wherein the pivot defines an upright slot and a pivoted position slot, a remote release mechanism located remote from the pivot outside the housing assembly and movable from a first position to a second position, and a slider connected to the remote release mechanism and movable in response to movement of the remote release mechanism. When the remote release mechanism is in the first position the pivot is locked with respect to the housing assembly in one of the upright position and the pivoted position, and when the remote release mechanism is moved to the second position the pivot is movable between the upright position and the pivoted position.

The folding work bench has a durable work surface, a top storage shelf, a back board for hanging tools, a locking mechanism, and a work table that can be folded up against the back board and locked in a compactly folded configuration that also secures the tools on the back board in the work bench.
