Solid Fuel Burner And Submerged Under The Liquid Patents (Class 126/367.1)
  • Patent number: 8327810
Abstract: An application for a method of heating water includes transferring the water from a water supply into an inner tank of the water heater which is held within an outer tank, transferring the water from the inner tank into an outer tank and then to supply a building with hot water. The water in the outer tank is heated with hot gasses, partially cooling to intermediate temperature gasses. The water in the inner tank is heated with the intermediate temperature gasses, further cooling the intermediate temperature gasses into cooler gasses that are then exhausted out of the water heater.

  • Patent number: 8176882
Abstract: A boiler for combustion of solid fuel, especially biomass, a first combustion stage with a primary air supply, an igniter, a fuel supply, a second combustion stage a burn-up and calcination space, a combustion chamber which is upwardly open and with a flue, the burn-up and calcination space being located underneath the combustion site such that fuel can be moved from the combustion site of the first combustion stage into the burn-up and calcination space. The primary air supply is located within the combustion chamber above the combustion site such that air can be blown into the first combustion stage, flue gases which form in the burn-up and calcination space are routed essentially passed the primary air supply means and the combustion site so that the flue gases of the second combustion stage do not adversely affect the combustion of the fuel at the combustion site.

  • Publication number: 20110132349
Abstract: An apparatus and method for portably heating water for the purpose of showering or cleanup. A flow of water, originating from a supply container, is warmed as it passes through a heat exchanger transferring energy from a heat source. The heated flow of water is deposited into an accumulating container. The water temperature is actively and automatically controlled by a temperature-responsive valve. Responding to the temperature of the flowing water, the temperature-responsive valve varies the flow of water so as to produce an accurate water temperature within the accumulating container. The flow of water is gravitationally motivated by a pressure head differential between the supply container positioned at an upper elevation and the accumulating container positioned at a lower elevation.

  • Patent number: 7614366
Abstract: An application for a method of heating water includes burning fuel to produce hot gases and heating a first mass of water with a first heat exchanger coupled to the hot gases. Heat remaining after the hot gases pass through the first heat exchanger is used by a second heat exchanger to heat a second mass of water. The first mass of water is partially isolated from the second mass of water and the first mass of water is contained substantially within the second mass of water. The second mass of water is colder than the first mass of water and, thereby, condenses more water vapor out of the hot gases.

  • Patent number: 6951191
Abstract: A water heater includes an exhaust hood, a heat exchange module, a main heat valve and a control valve extending downwardly in turn between a case and a plate. Inlet and outlet heads are installed on the two sides at the end of the hot water pipes respectively. Holes are punched on the case and the plate correspondingly to connect intake heads with water supply pipes going through the plate. The outlet head goes through the case and the pin connects with one water-intake hose directly. The control valve has one gas valve, one control switch and one water plate. The gas inlet of gas valve is connected with a gas can. Two pipes are installed on the water plate, which are pin connected with the intake head of the heat exchange module. With low flow capacity, the temperature of hot water output can be adjusted for direct use by a human body without mixing cold water.

  • Patent number: 6823861
Abstract: A wholly self-contained pond heater for use in preventing ice from forming on a pasture pond, comprising a heater assembly secured in a casing which is partially submersible in the pond. The heater assembly has a fire box from which intake and exhaust stacks extend upwardly. The stacks terminate in tips which face one another. The casing has louvers for the movement of air into and out of the casing, and an LPG fuel supply provided on the casing and connected to the heater assembly.
