Abstract: An improved smoking device comprising a container of smoking material, positioned juxtaposed to a viewing chamber that enables the observation of the trails of entrapped smoke and the determination of the amount of smoke in the viewing chamber. The smoke in the viewing chamber is forced into a smoke storage bag removed from the viewing chamber, when the smoker blows into a pipe stem. The blowing action mixes the smoke with the smoker's breath and provides an ideal smoke filled atmosphere in the bag which the smoker can then inhale.
Abstract: An elongated rectangular box includes a removable bottom wall which carries an intermediate vertical wall running the length of the box. The intermediate wall divides the box into two compartments for storing a supply of stick incense. An incense burner is removably mounted on a pair of studs on the top of the box. With the incense burner removed, a pipe bowl may be placed over one of the studs which has a hole passing therethrough and into a passage in the box formed between the top of the intermediate wall and a channel on the underside of the top wall. Smoke may be drawn through the pipe by a mouthpiece removably attached to one end thereof.

Abstract: A smoking-pipe, usable as a replacement for a normal gearshift knob in an automobile includes a main body having a cavity, inside which a removable ventilated cartridge used to contain tobacco or other smokable material fits slidingly. A flexible smoke-tube conducts smoke from the base of the cavity to the user's mouth, and a magnetically retained cover conceals the cavity, creating the outward appearance of a custom-made shift control knob. An O-ring and a gasket hold the cartridge in the cavity, prevent noise producing vibration of the cartridge against the walls of the cavity, and provide an air seal around the cartridge to enhance air circulation through the smoking matter.
Abstract: A device for enclosing a cigarette when being smoked, wherein a series of check valves are provided in conjunction with a smoke filter for permitting a smoker to draw smoke into the lungs and discharge it without affecting significantly a surrounding atmosphere.
Abstract: A pipe for smoking tobacco and the like while sucking a piece of fruit, the device permitting the smoke to contact pulp of the fruit to escort the natural flavors from the fruit thereby enhancing taste to the smoker.
Abstract: A flying pipe comprising a disc of the type adapted for manual toss and glide; a housing defining a chamber for receiving a smokeable substance; means for securing the housing to the disc; access means to the chamber for accommodating placement of the smokeable substance therein; a pair of spaced apertures in the housing in communication with the chamber; and means associated with the housing for blocking the passage of the smokeable substance through the apertures.
Abstract: A combination pipe and game is disclosed. The pipe includes a base on which is mounted a transparent tube which may be in an aesthetically pleasing coiled shape. A mouth piece is attached to the ends of the tube. A pipe bowl is positioned along the tube and is in communication with the interior of the tube. A lightweight ball can move about within the tube. The object of the game is for the smoker to draw smoke through the tube advancing the ball to a predetermined position within the tube. In another embodiment, the device is adapted for use by two or more smokers by expedient of inserting a fitting having an appropriate number of outlets, smoking tubes being connectable to each of the outlets.
Abstract: An improved smoking device enabling the smoker to fill a bag with smoke at one end of the smoking device. The smoke is obtained from smoking materials, such as tobacco. The tobacco is loaded into the pipe and lit, when a valve in the smoking device is turned to a first position. In a second position the stem of the smoking device is coupled to the bag through the smoldering tobacco, enabling the smoker to blow the smoke into the bag. When the valve is in a third position, the stem of the smoking device is connected directly to the smoked filled bag. The smoker can thus inhale the smoke and exhale it back into the bag. The smoke is thereby reused many times and thus maximizes the utilization of flavor in the smoke, while minimizing pollution of the environment. A fourth position may be provided wherein the flame of a match or lighter is used to single clean screens.
Abstract: A combination game and tobacco smoking device is disclosed. The device includes a base supporting a transparent air-tight chamber and a pipe bowl. A smoking tube communicates with both the pipe bowl and chamber to permit the user to draw smoke from the bowl and evacuate the air chamber. The air chamber contains a game-playing piece such as lightweight ball and a target or goal. An air passageway communicates the interior of the air chamber with atmosphere so the user can selectively admit air into the evacuated chamber to impart motion to the game piece to urge it toward the target or goal.
Abstract: A device having utility in interfering with a person's desire to hold an object such as a cigarette, cigar or pipe, between his lips, i.e., an anti-smoking device. In the form of a cigarette holder, it includes a generally tubular shell having first and second ends, with the first end being adapted to receive a cigarette; the second end thereof includes structure adapted to be held between a person's lips. A DC voltage source (such as a dry cell battery) of at least six volts and preferably nine volts is mounted within the shell. First and second electrically conductive members are connected to the output of the DC source, with the distal ends of said conductive members extending alongside the lip-contacting structure so that they may be readily touched by a person's lips.
Abstract: A cigarette holder having a stem, mouthpiece and ash container at the end of the stem remote from the mouthpiece, has a spring inside the hollow channel of the stem which urges a cigarette towards the ash container, a stop being provided to limit the movement of the cigarette and position the lit end centrally in the container. The stop forms part of an end plug which includes a writing implement. The internal cylindrical surface of the stem is provided with longitudinal ribs which guide the cigarette along the axis of the stem. The ribs are angularly spaced from each other to thereby support a cigarette at limited selective areas thereof to minimize the frictional forces between the stem and the cigarette as the same slidingly advances along the axis towards the ash container to compensate for portions of the cigarette which are converted into ashes and deposited in the ash container. Means are provided on the ash container for admitting air but preventing the escape of ashes therefrom.
