The tent cover system includes a frame having a hub and a plurality of roof poles extending therefrom; a cover having a reflective topside and a blackout underside; a plurality of vertical poles configured to hoist the cover above a tent, thereby creating an airspace therebetween; and a plurality of guy lines configured to removably secure the cover to a ground surface.

One of the pair of elongated shafts is mountable to the shaft holder. The other of the pair of elongated shafts is positionable on the one of the pair of elongated shafts. A crown is mountable to the other of the pair of elongated shafts. The crown is configured to support the canopy. A distance between the base plate and the crown is adjustable by sliding the other of the pair of elongated shafts on the one of the pair of elongated shafts.

Abstract: A ceiling fan includes a plurality of steel ropes; an attachment device secured to first ends of the steel ropes; and a fan and light assembly secured to second ends of the steel ropes. The steel rope has two enlargements at respective ends thereof. The enlargements are moveably disposed in the attachment device and the fan and light assembly so that both installation and detachment are made easy.

Abstract: A slider mechanism is provided with a release mechanism for releasing a spring clip holding a protruding detent in a leg supporting an overhead canopy. The release mechanism is mounted to the slider so that it is automatically loaded in the detent engaging position of the slider so that a simple pushing action on the mechanism causes the detent to withdraw within the leg during lowering of the canopy for storage.

Abstract: In a portable shelter frame, a frame support is selectively articulable between an erected state and a collapsed state. The elongated rods may include at least one lower cavity having two channels each configured to detachably and slidably receive each of the elongated bars. The lower cavity may have a groove that is configured to detachably and slidably receive an accessory. The elongated rods each may include at least one upper cavity configured to detachably and slidably receive each connection mechanism and a second accessory.

Abstract: A ground blind assembly includes a blind and a resilient attachment member. The blind includes a resilient cover mounted on a collapsible support structure. The blind has at least one sidewall and a top. The resilient attachment member is releasably mounted to the blind and covers at least a portion of the ground blind. The resilient attachment member is configured to releasably secure at least one object to the blind to camouflage the blind.

Abstract: A floating canopy shade is constructed from a standard fixed or pop-up canopy by adding a set of floats adapted to hold the canopy legs and to provide drag to resist drifting and lifting in a small breeze. A kit converts a standard canopy assembly to a floating one.

Abstract: A portable painting apparatus comprises a combination of a portable paint booth for holding an object to be painted, removable handles for moving objects coated with wet paint, an optional drying rack for wet painted objects, and accessory hangers adapted for suspending objects inside the portable paint booth or from the drying rack. The portable paint booth includes a support frame with a rotatable hub assembly for painting all sides of an object and a replaceable tent for providing a paint overspray and splatter barrier. The tent may optionally include exhaust ports for withdrawing paint vapor and airborne paint droplets from within the tent. The support frame, removable handles, and drying rack are adapted to hold painted objects coated with wet paint on all sides and edges without damaging the coating of wet paint.

Abstract: A snow shield for a truck scale for covering the gap between the lower side of the scale deck of the truck scale and a support surface at each side of the truck scale. A first flexible sheet member has its upper end secured to the outer side of the first frame siderail of the truck scale for the length thereof and extends downwardly therefrom outwardly of the gap at one side of the truck scale. A second flexible sheet member has its upper end secured to the outer side of the second frame siderail of the truck scale for the length thereof and extends downwardly therefrom outwardly of the gap at the other side of the truck scale. The lower ends of the sheet members are secured in place to either the supporting surface or the ground adjacent thereto.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for constructing an intermediate securement point for a flexible panel. A stopper unit having at least one retention portion disposed over an engagement portion is provided with the retention portion extending radially beyond the engagement portion. A clip unit detachably coupled to the stopper unit to capture the flexible panel therebetween includes a collar portion defining an engagement channel configured to receive the engagement portion of the stopper unit. The collar portion terminates at first and second opposed ends spaced across a mouth of the engagement channel. An intermediate portion of the flexible panel may then be wrapped over the retention portion of the stopper unit to be gathered and releasably captured about the engagement portion by the clip unit coupled thereto. A flexible tie member may be coupled to the clip unit for releasably anchoring the clip unit to a support fixture.

Abstract: A display marker for a portable hunting blind has a height above the blind and can be seen from a distance, even if surrounded by brush or hills. The display marker resembles a hollow vertical tube that cannot be covered with a blanket of snow. The display marker can easily attach and detach from any brand model or style of blind without tools or without causing damage. The display marker can be collapsed to a small size to make it easy for transport and storage. The display marker displays an orange square of the required size in all directions. Because the display marker is always visible, it provides much greater safety for those in portable hunting blinds as compared to conventional blind markers.

Abstract: Described is tent peg that provides easy storage and transport to reduce the likelihood of the tent peg being lost. The tent peg comprises a shaft having and a head comprising a body having an arm extending therefrom. The arm comprises a first aperture adjacent to the body and a second aperture located between the first aperture and a distal end of the arm. The first aperture is formed to receive a shaft of a first further tent peg in an opposite orientation. Additionally, the second aperture is formed to receive a shaft of a second further tent peg in the same orientation as the tent beg. Further, the shaft of the second further tent peg is receivable in a first aperture of the first further tent peg. Therefore, multiple tent pegs can be interconnected with each tent peg in the opposite orientation to the adjacent tent pegs.

Abstract: A cord assembly is disclosed for use in connection with a variety of purposes including with a portable hunting blind. In one embodiment of the invention, the cord assembly comprises a plurality of resilient cord members forming a main panel and additional resilient cord members extending outward from the main panel.

Abstract: Stackable anchors for use in sand, snow and the like including dead man plates, a unitary cord providing means for anchoring devices and for retrieval of the dead man plate from its buried location. In addition, an optional feature of the dead man plate includes means for receiving the unitary cord wrapped about a plurality of dead man plates to retain the anchors in stacked, adjacent relationship for compact storage.

Abstract: Disclosed is an anchoring system for a portable shelter that includes a plurality of anchor assemblies each having a support surface for supporting one of the legs of the portable shelter above the ground when the leg rests on the support surface such that the anchor assemblies are positionable under the legs of the portable shelter to support the portable shelter above the ground. Each anchor assembly includes a container, a retainer and an attachment. The container forms a hollow interior space for holding weighting material and has a removable lid forming the support surface. The retainer blocks the leg from sliding off of the support surface. The attachment includes an anchor plate located within the hollow interior space and below the weighting material and a cable extending from the anchor plate and out of the container for attachment to the tensioning line.

Abstract: Hunting blinds include a frame comprising two rod attachment structures at opposing longitudinal sides and a plurality of support attachment structures extending between and coupled to the two rod attachment structures. A rod is coupled to each of the two rod attachment structures, and a support member rod is coupled to each of the support attachment structures. Methods of using hunting blinds and methods of making hunting blinds are also disclosed.

Abstract: A blind accessory support bracket is disclosed. The bracket is configured to fit into the X-shaped framework of a hunting blind, tent, or portable structure. Abutments are located on either side of the bracket, containing the framework therebetween, and securing the bracket in place. The bracket may provide a variety of different supports, including a gun brace, a camera mount, or a shelf. When the bracket is located on framework near an opening of the blind, it may assist in aiming or shooting of a camera or gun at a target outside the blind.

Abstract: A connector plate for quickly and easily securing tent guide ropes and/or straps for facilitating a tent's assembly includes: a base portion, a trunk portion extending longitudinally from the base portion, and a number of branches extending radially from the trunk portion. The base portion has dimensions that are greater in the transverse direction than the longitudinal direction (that is, has a greater width than length) and defines therethrough a slot opening that receives a tent strap. The branches, which may be grouped as oppositely disposed pairs, terminate in geometric shaped end portions, around which end portions a tent guide rope may be wrapped. A method of assembling a tent using the present connector plate is also provided.

Abstract: Disclosed is an anchoring system for a portable shelter that includes a plurality of anchor assemblies each having a support surface for supporting one of the legs of the portable shelter above the ground when the leg rests on the support surface such that the anchor assemblies are positionable under the legs of the portable shelter to support the portable shelter above the ground. Each anchor assembly includes a container, a retainer and an attachment. The container forms a hollow interior space for holding weighting material and has a removable lid forming the support surface. The retainer blocks the leg from sliding off of the support surface.

Abstract: In its preferred embodiment, the fast-erecting portable structure principally comprises two or more flexible framing rods and a flexible skin. The flexible framing rods essentially form inverted u-shapes and the flexible skin hangs from the flexible framing rods in substantially a dome shape. More specifically, the flexible skin can be supported from the flexible framing rods by sleeves sewn into the flexible skin. The sleeves allow the flexible skin to slide along the length of the flexible framing rods. The flexible skin is also fixed (or non-removably) connected to the ends of the flexible framing rods. The fast-erecting portable structure can be stored by coiling the flexible framing rods into a storage bag. The fast-erecting portable structure allows the structure to be immediately erected from the coiled position in the storage bag into the structure without any intermediate steps or the addition or removal of any parts.

Abstract: A portable collapsible blind is provided including positioning members and simulated arborescent structures to break-up the hard geometric shape and lines of the blind. The positioning members can position the simulated arborescent structures to extend beyond at least one of a sidewall, side edge, upper edge, sidewall corner, roof edge, roof corner and roof a preselected distance. The simulated arborescent structure can include a limb and a leafy part suspended by the limb at a location distal from the geometric shape of the blind. A concealment pod also can be provided. The concealment pod can include a base with a plurality of outwardly projecting simulated arborescent structures. The base can include the fastener element that joins with a corresponding fastener element of a joining element. The base and joining element can be pivotally joined so that the simulated arborescent structures can be oriented in a variety of configurations.

Abstract: A hunting chair with a hunting blind attachment that encircles the chair is disclosed, as well as an attachable camouflage roof covering, all of which may be folded and disassembled in such a way that it fits into a self-contained pack that may be carried on a hunter's back. The chair includes an adjustable, pivoting backrest, a pivoting gun rest with telescoping legs for height adjustment, folding legs, a pouch to contain the disassembled elements, and shoulder straps for carrying the apparatus. In its disassembled state, the roof poles, roof fabric, and blind fabric are packed into a pouch on the back side of the backrest, and the chair is folded into a carrying position. Detachable shoulder straps may be attached to the underside of the seat section, so that the entire chair and blind combination may be carried on a hunter's back into the field.

Abstract: A method for stabilizing a beach umbrella includes the steps of configuring a one or more bags, each having a reclosable top opening, and having attachment cords at the upper and lower ends of each bag, filling the bags with a medium such as sand or water, and suspending the bags from the umbrella by affixing each either to the pole or above the junctures of the canopy struts and the pole, or at the junctures of the longer and shorter canopy struts.

Abstract: A tent assembly includes a storage container, a tent body, a first fold guide and a second fold guide. The tent body is configured to transition from an erect position to a collapsed position and is configured to be folded along a plurality of predetermined fold lines to fit within the storage container when the tent body is in the collapsed position. The first fold guide is coupled to the tent body and is spaced a first distance from and positioned on a first side of one of the plurality of predetermined fold lines. The second fold guide is coupled to the tent body and spaced the first distance from and positioned on a second side of the one of the plurality of predetermined fold lines, wherein the second side is opposite the first side. Other tents, tent bodies and associated methods are also described.

Abstract: A blind accessory support bracket is disclosed. The bracket is configured to fit into the X-shaped framework of a hunting blind, tent, or portable structure. Abutments are located on either side of the bracket, containing the framework therebetween, and securing the bracket in place. The bracket may provide a variety of different supports, including a gun brace, a camera mount, or a shelf. When the bracket is located on framework near an opening of the blind, it may assist in aiming or shooting of a camera or gun at a target outside the blind.

Abstract: A canopy anchor pad system that has a pad with a metal plate attached thereto and a fastening member that extends through the pad. The anchor pad system is attached to the leg of a canopy assembly and is of size and shape to accommodate a secondary weight such as a cooler that can be placed on the pad in order to anchor the leg of the canopy assembly.

Abstract: A portable solar cell canopy or tent with supports to elevate the canopy or tent and expose solar cells affixed thereon to the sun to collect energy for use within the tent. Flexible components, including spray-on solar cells, permit dismantling and reassembly of the entire apparatus into a portable kit for remote usages. The present invention provides energy in remote areas, such as drawing water from a deep well and providing emergency phone service, as well as providing energy in urban or other areas.

Abstract: A tent having a wind resistant tubular frame comprises: a frame having a) multiple frame legs, each leg having a lower portion lockingly hinged to an upper portion, wherein the lower portion can be swung open from a storage position in which the upper and lower portions are adjacent to each other, and then locked in an open operable position; and, b) a crown to which the an inner end portion of the upper portion of each one of the multiple legs is hinged generally laterally thereto, wherein the legs can be laterally rotated from a storage position in which they are adjacent to each other to an operable, spaced apart position in which the frame legs radiate outwardly from the crown; and, a canvas, shaped to cover one of an inner and outer sides of the frame. In a preferred aspect of this invention the tent further comprises a door side leg for opening an entire segment of the tent between two tent frame legs for convenient entry of large equipment.

Abstract: A portable collapsible blind is provided including positioning members and simulated arborescent structures to break-up the hard geometric shape and lines of the blind. The positioning members can position the simulated arborescent structures to extend beyond at least one of a sidewall, side edge, upper edge, sidewall corner, roof edge, roof corner and roof a preselected distance. The simulated arborescent structure can include a limb and a leafy part suspended by the limb at a location distal from the geometric shape of the blind. A concealment pod also can be provided. The concealment pod can include a base with a plurality of outwardly projecting simulated arborescent structures. The base can include the fastener element that joins with a corresponding fastener element of a joining element. The base and joining element can be pivotally joined so that the simulated arborescent structures can be oriented in a variety of configurations.

A hand activated clamp or clamps for attachment to a variety of pole dimensions both angular and round, while allowing for the closing of the tent's outer protective cover; with the capacity to selectively suspend the ballasting load to prevent it from coming at rest with the ground for an increase in its effectiveness.

Abstract: A tent having a pass-through port through a wall panel for allowing an item to be passed in and out of the tent without opening the tent door. The pass-through port can be snugly tightened about a cord or hose extending therethrough to prevent insects from entering the tent.

Abstract: A rainfly (24) for a tent (20). The rainfly (24) includes a fabric having first and second sides (26, 28), the first side (26) being configured to reflect radiant heat energy of the sun so that the inside of a tent on which the rainfly is placed is maintained cooler than a tent not having such a rainfly, and the second side (28) being configured to absorb or retain radiant heat energy of the sun and keep the tent inside warmer in the winter than a tent not utilizing such a rainfly.

Abstract: A collapsible canopy frame is provided that includes elongated side poles each having a side and an end; and a plurality of wheel assemblies each having a mounting post and a wheel. The mounting post of each wheel assembly is supported on and extends transverse to a corresponding one of the elongated side poles.

Abstract: A camouflage cover for equipping an outdoor enclosure with three-dimensional nature effects includes a plurality of elongated nature-effect strands that drape over the enclosure in a substantially vertical arrangement. The vine-like nature-effect strands help conceal hard lines and corners of the enclosure structure. The cover may include adjustment straps that allow a single cover to adapt to a number of enclosure structures. The adjustment straps, where used, may include interwoven cords and cord locks for adjusting tension of the straps. The nature-effect strands may have different camouflage patterns so that an enclosure can have an appropriate camouflage scheme no matter what season or environment. Tiebacks may optionally be used to permit horizontal adjustment of the nature-effect strands, in order to prevent allow free access to windows and doorways. Auxiliary loops may also be provided to allow attachment of additional nature effects by a user.

Abstract: A ground cloth is adapted for use between the ground and a ground engagable floor to protect the floor from contamination by the ground. The ground cloth includes a plurality of drain holes for draining to the ground moisture entering between the ground engagable floor and the ground cloth to minimize the retention of moisture between the ground cloth and the floor.

Abstract: A portable painting tent comprises a tall tripod frame with telescoping legs over which is draped a tent to control paint spray. Inside at the apex of the tripod, a swivel allows a standard house door, or other large items, to be hung from its top edge. A special bracket attaches to the top of the item, where it can be left unpainted, and the whole clips into a slot in the swivel. Both sides and edges of the item can be spray painted, and special handles are used to pick the wet item off the swivel and put it somewhere for drying. The whole tent can be folded up and carried away by collapsing the telescoping legs and folding them together in a tight bundle.

Abstract: A canopy has a frame with a plurality of legs for defining a main area of protection, an auxiliary leg for defining an auxiliary area of protection adjacent the main area of protection, the auxiliary leg capable of being removed and a roof frame supported by the uprights. A tarp, secured to the frame, has a main section for covering the main area, and an auxiliary section adjacent the main section. The auxiliary section is (i) extendable between the legs and the auxiliary leg to cover the auxiliary area, (ii) extendable between the legs and the support surface to provide additional cover to the main area as a wall, and (iii) storable such that only the main section covers the main area and the at least one auxiliary leg is removed.

Abstract: A reflective overlay for shade umbrellas that is both functional and decorative. A substantially circular piece of fabric with a reflective outer surface has a central aperture for positioning on a host umbrella. Built into the periphery are a multiplicity of flaps with gaps between adjacent flaps and at least two attachment means connected to the outer periphery at said gaps for removably attaching the reflective overlay at the periphery of a host umbrella dome.

Abstract: A tent assembly is provided wherein an air conditioner is operably engaged with the tent to allow selective cooling of an interior of the tent. The tent includes a sealing sleeve to seal about a periphery of the air conditioner, so that the air conditioner exhausts to the ambient environment.

Abstract: A collapsible canopy frame is provided that includes elongated side poles each having a side and an end; and a plurality of wheel assemblies each having a mounting post and a wheel.
