  • Patent number: 11193599
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a bi-valve for use with a flowmeter or other source of oxygen or other medical gas, that allows a medical practitioner to easily and quickly switch from delivering oxygen or other gas from the flowmeter or other gas source to a given mask or other device, to another mask or other device. This is accomplished far faster and easier than is done under current practice. Current practice results in the patient being off oxygen or other gas for a short, but very significant period of time, which poses a serious risk of desaturation in the patient. The bi-valve may include a casing, an inlet, and two outlets, with a knob for selecting which output the oxygen or other gas is to be delivered to. The device may be a very simple ball valve device, with the only moving parts being the knob and the ball.

Abstract: A subsea manifold layout interconnects subsea pipelines that extend beside each other to convey hydrocarbon production fluids in use. Each of the pipelines has an in-line manifold portion that is apt to be installed with the pipeline as an in-line accessory structure lowered with the pipeline from the surface, for example using S-lay, J-lay or reel-lay techniques. Thus, the in-line manifold portions of the respective pipelines are structurally separate from each other. Bridging pipes complete a subsea manifold structure having two or more of the in-line manifold portions, providing for production fluids to flow between the pipelines via the manifold portions of the respective pipelines.

The holding members may be moved individually into the C-ring after the C-ring is mounted within an outer housing. The two holding members thus provide support to an inner periphery of the C-ring. A locking plate has support structure moved between circumferential ends of the housing members, thus providing effective support for the C-ring around its entire inner periphery. In this way, the two parts secured by the C-ring need not be moved relative to each other to insert the C-ring. The clearance or ability to move one of the two parts relative to the other which has been required in the past to mount a C-ring, is not necessary. • Patent number: 6305418
Abstract: In a hydraulic valve (10), the housing (34) is composed of plate-shaped segments (36 to 46). Sections of longitudinal channels (96, 97) are formed by recesses having cross-section with a closed edge which overlap or are flush with corresponding channel sections of the adjacent channels. Radial channels, which are in communication with a supply connection (11, 12) or a consumer connection (13, 14) are formed by radial indentations (86 to 89) of central openings (75, 77, 79 and 81) of housing segments (38, 40, 42 and 44). Grooves (91, 92, 93 and 93) which widen the cross-section of the central housing channel (71) within which the valve piston (19) can slide in a pressure tight manner in the axial direction and/or rotation outwards are formed by recesses (75, 77, 79 and 81) of the housing segments (38, 40, 42 and 44) having a larger diameter and which positively overlap the central channel (71) in cross-section.

  • Patent number: 6302135
Abstract: A water faucet control valve comprises a valve and a control section seating in an oval mixed chamber of the valve. The valve comprises a pair of studs next to the chamber. The valve has an outlet for cold-hot-mixed water to flow there through. A pair of pin holes are formed next to the water outlet. The cold-hot water control section comprises a left and a right cups being isolated by a partitioner and a mobile axle. The left and right cups are in semi-circular post shape, each has a hole for the partitioner and the mobile axle to insert therein. Both the left and right cups, the partitioner, the mobile axle have separated cold and hot water passages, this has reduced the cost of manufacture and more feasibility.

  • Patent number: 6273122
Abstract: The magnetic valve (16,17) is arrangeable in a multipart housing (12) and includes a coil-part group (64,128) and a valve subassembly (138). The valve subassembly (138) is arrangeable in a valve seat (94,95) provided in a housing (12). The valve subassembly (138) includes a punched seat disk (170) and a punched and deep-drawn valve cap (152), which extend into the valve seat (94,95). A pin insert (214,224) is provided between the valve cap (152) and the seat disk (170). The pin insert (214,224) is connected with one end of a longitudinally slidable pin (202) attached to an armature (194). The magnetic valve can be operated to alternately connect a consumer connection (A) with an inlet connection (P) or a return connection (T). A module (10) including a pair or pairs of these magnetic valves (16,17) is also disclosed. Each pair of valves can includes one valve that is open and another valve that is closed when current flows through their coils.
