Single Inlet With Multiple Distinctly Valved Outlets Patents (Class 137/883)
  • Patent number: 8051875
Abstract: A protection apparatus detects and reduces overpressure in a fluid pipeline. First and second pipeline valves are connected in series along the pipeline and are independently switchable between open and closed positions. A pressure transducer determines the fluid pressure in the pipeline at a point intermediate the first and second pipeline valves. A bypass line has a first end connected to the pipeline between the input end and the first pipeline valve and a second end connected to the pipeline between the first and second pipeline valves. A bypass valve is connected along the bypass line. A vent line is connected to the bypass line between the bypass valve and the second end of the bypass line. A vent valve is connected along the vent line.

  • Patent number: 8028719
Abstract: A control stop for a flush valve for a urinal or toilet fixture includes a housing defining a flow chamber divided by a valve seat into inlet and outlet sections. A valve structure is biased toward the valve seat by a spring applying a valve closing spring force. The housing is sealed by a diaphragm, and the diaphragm covers the movable valve structure, isolating it from water flowing through the housing. The diaphragm does not impede valve structure movement, and the closing spring force establishes a threshold water supply pressure for opening the control stop during increasing pressure following a no or low supply pressure condition. A plurality of control stops may supply a bank of flush valves and fixtures, and open in a cascading sequence during increasing pressure as a result of having springs with different closing spring forces.

Abstract: A swimming pool cleaning device includes a fluid distribution system for controlling its operation. More particularly, the distribution system includes a housing having an inlet for receiving a supply of pressurized fluid, a pair of outlet openings and a valve chamber positioned between the inlet and the outlet openings. A piston, including a valve member, is movably mounted in the housing so as to be movable between a first position, in which the valve member closes one of the outlet openings so as to divert pressurized fluid to the other one of the outlet openings, and a second position, in which the valve member closes the other one of the outlet openings so as to divert pressurized fluid to the one of the outlet openings. A valve is provided for controlling the movement of the piston between the first and second positions. The piston has a passage extending therethrough so as to permit flow of pressurized fluid from the valve chamber to the valve.

Abstract: The device comprises a valve body with an input adapted to be connected to a water supply source, and with at least a first and second output. The body is provided with at least a first and a second electrovalve with direct actuation, whose hydraulic inputs are interconnected with one another and are connected to the input of the valve body and whose outputs are independent or separate and are connected to the first and the second output of the body respectively. The body is provided with a third solenoid electrovalve, for safety purposes, interposed between the input of the body and the inputs of the first and second electrovalves. Control devices are coupled to this third electrovalve such that the latter may be opened/closed each time that the first or second electrovalve is opened/closed. This third electrovalve closes in a delayed manner with respect to the closure of the first and the second electrovalve.

Abstract: A flow dividing device for gardening pipes includes a main body having a plurality of mounting studs, and a plurality of water control switches each mounted on the respective mounting stud. Each of the water control switches includes a control valve, an operation knob, and a pipe connector. Thus, the water flow of each of the water control switches is opened and closed by rotation of the operation knob, thereby facilitating a user operating the water control switches. In addition, when the pipe connector is detached from the operation knob, the pipe connector is rotatable relative to the operation knob so that the pipe connector is freely rotatable with the gardening pipe to facilitate a user rotating the gardening pipe relative to the main body.

Abstract: An air divider having a shutoff plate for converting row spacing on a seeding implement. A reversible shutoff plate has a closed position wherein one end of the plate extends through a slot and completely blocks a leg of a Y-shaped output end of the divider. By reversing the shutoff plate, the leg is opened to air and material flow. The shutoff plate is retained in a clip or post adjacent the slot in both the closed and open positions. A seal closes the slot if the shutoff plate is not inserted and permits the shutoff plate option to be selected at any time.

Abstract: A fluid flow control system that includes a fluid inlet to receive a flow of process fluid and a plurality of fluid outlets. The plurality of fluid outlets include a first fluid outlet and at least one second fluid outlet. The first fluid outlet provides a first predetermined portion of the flow of process fluid, and the at least one second fluid outlet provides the remaining portion of the flow of process fluid. In one embodiment, the control system includes a pressure transducer, first and second multipliers, and first and second flow controllers. The first multiplier multiplies a pressure signal received from the pressure transducer by a first setpoint to control a first flow controller that provides the first predetermined portion of the flow of process fluid. The second multiplier multiplies the pressure signal by a second setpoint to control a second flow controller that provides the remaining portion.
