Abstract: A process for fixing an article to a substrate with a mounting set including two receptacles storing an aerobic adhesive and a hydrophilic substance, respectively. The aerobic adhesive and the hydrophilic substance are removed from the two receptacles and then mixed together to prepare the fastening. A layer of the fastening composition is applied to the article. The article is fixed to the substrate by pressing the layer of the fastening composition against the substrate. The aerobic adhesive in the layer hardens because of the moisture contained in the hydrophilic substance.

Abstract: A closure device which a consumer or bag manufacturer may affix to most any bag comprises an elongated first strip of flexible material and a thin bendable wire and second strip of material of substantially the same length as the first strip and longitudinally aligned with and affixed to the first strip. The first strip includes an opposite adhesive surface which is covered by a protective strip of release paper at the time of manufacture. A plurality of individual closure devices may be manufactured in sheet form with perforations extending between each adjacent closure device on the sheet. When needed, the consumer tears a closure device from the sheet. The consumer peels away the release paper revealing the adhesive surface and affixes the closure device to the outer surface of a bag. In one preferred method, the consumer affixes the closure device in a traversing manner with the closure device extending between the opposite closed and open ends of the bag.

Abstract: A tyre is described that includes a casing defining a cavity and equipped to receive an object, such as an electronic circuit, for example, through use of a two-part attachment, such as a touch-close attachment, of which a first part is fixed to a wall of the casing and a second part can be joined to the first part when placed in contact with the first part to keep the object on the casing in a service position. The first part of the attachment includes connection elements that are an integral part of the wall of the casing of the tyre. The connection elements allow these two parts to have freedom to move relative to each other, thereby limiting the transmission of stresses, which affect the wall of the tyre, to the object. The connection elements may be loops of flexible thread formed by the extremities of turns of a coiled thread integrated into the wall of the tyre during the tyre's manufacture.

Abstract: A multi-optical fiber connector module is provided with an unfilled plastic cover that is used to secure the ends of a plurality of optical fibers at precise locations within the connector modules. The cover has deformable features that permanently deform when the cover is secured to a housing of the connector module. The permanent deformations are caused by forces that are exerted on the deformable features by respective unjacketed optical fibers when the cover is secured to the module housing. When the features deform, they partially wrap about the respective unjacketed optical fibers such that the respective fibers are pinned between the respective deformed features and the respective V-shaped grooves of the module housing. This contact between the deformed features, the respective unjacketed optical fibers and the respective V-shaped grooves maintains the respective unjacketed optical fibers in precise locations along respective optical pathways of the connector module.
