The elongated sleeve also has a slit which extends from one open end of the sleeve to its other open end and which enables sheet material positioned around the bar and received in the sleeve to extend outwardly through the slit on opposite sides of the bar. The generally raised mounting surfaces are sized and configured to project outwardly from the bar through the slit when the bar is received in the sleeve so that the bar can be rigidly affixed to an object such as the side of a building, vehicle or a handle.

In one embodiment, the invention will fit over a traditional doorknob, snap in place with finger-like extensions, which will grip the doorknob. The extension is coated with a material which will provide a secure grip between the doorknob and extension. The design and location of the extension(s) allow for a snug fit with the doorknob. A handle which is connected to the extension(s) allow the invention to function as a lever on the doorknob.

The hand grip further includes a mechanical means, such as a normally mounted pin on the inner surface of the grip cover that mates with the hole of the gripping portion of the mobility device so that the hand grip is prevented from slipping. The elastic and non-absorbent hand grip provides a replaceable, sanitary, stable grasping point for the user of the framed mobility device.

By being self-affixing, the handle may be attached and removed from the item without the need for tools or any additional items, such as clamps, screws, adhesive, or the like. The handle may provide a link between the shopping cart or stroller and a child. Abstract: Described are preferred sanitary cleaning devices that include a disposable cleaning head portion and a handle portion. The cleaning head is releasably connectable to the handle portion. The handle portion includes a pair of elongate rods laterally spaced relative to one another and capable of deflection toward one another. The rods present prongs that are selectively received within and removed from apertures provided in the cleaning head. To attach the cleaning head to the handle, the rods are deflected, for example by compressing a grip area, and the prongs are positioned adjacent the receiving apertures, and thereafter the rods are released. Abstract: A bracket assembly for use with cleaning implements such as push brooms has a handle connector for mounting a handle and a plate with a pair of depending flanges that are inserted into the broom head. The bracket assembly may be removably secured to the broom head with a fastener such as bolt and nut to provide an attachment mechanism having sufficient strength to withstand repeated sweeping motion. The removable bracket allows the arrangement of the handle and broom head to be reversed so that both faces of the broom head and bristles can be used interchangeably for sweeping. The removable bracket can be used with cleaning implements having heads of various dimensions and shapes.
