Abstract: The invention is a fire hose holding apparatus that involves a hose clamp that involves two halves that are connected together via a hinge and a handle. Located along the interior of said two halves are rubber strips. The locking apparatus involves a locking clip on the opposite ends of the two halves and locking notch in the handle.

Abstract: A pair of devices for lifting boxes is disclosed. Each device comprises a handle, lifting surface, lifting plate and a plurality of lifting members in the form of angled teeth. During use, the teeth of each device are inserted into opposite sides of a corrugated box. A user is then able to lift the box using the temporary handles. The teeth are angled relative to a bottom edge of the lifting plates allowing a user's wrist to maintain a proper position to lift boxes over the user's head. During non-use the pair of devices they are connected with magnets such that the teeth of each lifting plate are received by corresponding openings in the other lifting plate. Each tooth may also include an extension portion for accommodating portions of a box thereby increasing the surface area of contact between the teeth and the box.

Abstract: A surgical instrument container assembly includes a container and a handle assembly. The handle assembly includes at least one wire handle coupled with the container, and a pair of handle halves. Each handle half includes a pair of ends and a pair of partial openings respectively positioned at the ends. Each partial opening of one handle half is adjacent a respective partial opening of the other handle half. The adjacent partial openings conjunctively receive a portion of the at least one wire handle therein. The handle halves surround a portion of the at least one wire handle and are snap fitted together.

Abstract: Clip-on utensils and methods of use therefor, wherein the handle end of the utensil incorporates a clip for securing the utensil to the edge of a plate, bowl, glass or cup. The clip portion of the utensil is opened and subsequently positioned over the tableware edge, wherein the clip is subsequently released; thereby, gripping the edge of the tableware and securing the utensil thereon. When at rest, the clip portion forms a planar combination with the handle thereby imparting strength to the combination over that of the handle alone. Various alternative clipping means are described.

Abstract: A hands-free system for connecting and disconnecting a tool from an adjustable length extension pole. The system includes first and second slidably interconnected elongated members, a tool-holding assembly releasably coupled to the second elongated member, and a locking assembly disposed between the first and second elongated members. The relative sliding of the first and second elongated members can be selectively restrained by rotating the first and second elongated members relative to one another. The tool-holding assembly can be disconnected from the second elongated member by sliding the first and second elongated members together.

Abstract: A portable support for standees of subways and buses assists in minimizing the spread of germs since a commuter needing or wanting to stand will only touch his or her personal Gripper devise versus touching the attached bar of a bus or subway that can be touched by multiple commuters. Pressing and removing a thumb from the release button of the device will allow the clamps to open and close, latching onto the bar of a subway or bus when a commuter needs to stand providing safety, support and sanitary conditions. The swinging motion allows for the standee to move forwards and backwards along with the movement of the bus or subway to a certain point, providing again necessary support and safety.

Abstract: A detachable handle mounting structure includes a handle, a sleeve fixedly provided at one end of the handle for receiving a tool, a socket, which is fixedly provided at a recessed portion on the periphery of the sleeve and has an accommodation open chamber and a bottom center hole cut through the periphery wall of the sleeve, a plug partially inserted into the bottom center hole of the socket and vertically movable in the bottom center hole of the socket between a locking position where the plug is partially projecting into the inside of the sleeve to lock a tool to the sleeve and an unlocking position where the plug is moved away from the inside of the sleeve to unlock the tool that is inserted into the sleeve, and a rotary knob, which has a coupling member coupled to the plug and is rotatable to move the plug vertically in the bottom center hole of the socket between the locking position and the unlocking position.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to an adapter that fits over a wheel barrow handle that is extendable. By way of this extension, the height of a handle portion of the adapter may be changed so as to change the effective height of the wheel barrow handle. In this way, a user of the wheel barrow can lift the wheel barrow from a more comfortable height.

Abstract: A window operation assistance handle having a base, at lease one finger grip with two legs, multiple offset orifice fixation ports for receiving multiple securing devices such as setscrews or thumbscrews, and a base hollow groove. To temporarily install and use the handle, the handle is positioned to envelope an integrated leverage point in the hollow groove, and the securing devices disposed in the multiple offset orifice fixation ports are engaged to create a non-penetrating compressive friction fit upon enveloped leverage point. The window can then be lifted or slid by applying force to the finger grips. The handle can be adjusted to the user's strength, size, and dimensions, and installed and removed without use of tools or creating permanent damage of the framework of the window.

The handle body includes a generally cylindrical palm grip about which a user wraps his hand to grip the handle assembly, a generally vertical front post, a generally vertical rear post, a web upon which the web of the hand of the person rests when the person grips the handle body, and a thumb rest upon which the person positions a thumb to more securely grip the handle body and to physiologically and psychologically encourage the person to refrain from engaging in twisting and rolling motions of the hands and wrist. The thumb rest is a contoured ridge integrally formed on a side of the handle body.

Abstract: A tool includes a handle, a controller and a bit. The handle includes a socket defining an axial non-circular space and a radial space in communication with the axial space. The controller includes a space defined therein and a ridge formed on the wall of the space thereof. The controller is movable in the radial space of socket between a locking position and a releasing position. The bit includes a working tip and a shank defining at least one recess for receiving the ridge when the shank is inserted into the space of the controller through the axial space of the socket, thus locking the bit to the handle.

Abstract: A hand tool made up of a handle member and a tool clamp member where the handle member is made to receive the tool clamp member by engaging a flat surfaced extension of the tool clamp member with a mating hole in the handle member. The flat surfaced extension is tapered in shape and matches with a tapered hole in the handle providing a rigid fit when the handle member and tool clamp member are pressed together. The rigid fit of the two pieces is achieved by elastic properties of the handle member against the externally tapered flat surfaced extension of the tool clamp. The tool clamp provides means to uses replaceable blades or other tools to maintain the tool in good working condition while in use.

Abstract: A quick-release handle for use with the working head of a cleaning tool is disclosed. The handle includes a quick-release coupling assembly positioned on one end of the handle and a button actuator positioned on the opposite end of the handle. The coupling assembly is configured to releaseably couple with a working head. The button actuator is operably connected to the coupling assembly such that coupling assembly may be disengaged from a working head through manipulation of the button actuator.

Abstract: A carrier for a paint tray is provided, the tray having an inner wall defining a container for containing paint and an outer wall for supporting the container, the inner and outer walls defining a space therebetween accessible from underneath the tray. The carrier comprises a base with a front leg for coupling to the paint tray and a lifting member connected to the base. The front leg may be inserted into the space between said inner and outer wall and can engage the interior faces of both said inner and outer walls simultaneously when inserted into said space to secure the member within the space and to support the tray from the front leg.

Abstract: The tool handle of the invention includes a shank connected via a ratcheting mechanism to a male square drive. A pair of handle wings are pivotally connected to the shank at a transverse pivot hinge such that the handle wings can be changed between a screwdriver-type configuration, an L-shape configuration, a T-shape configuration or other intermediate configurations. When the handle wings are in the fully open position, the handle wings bear against the shank to create a mechanism for transferring power between the handle wings and the tool shank without the need for a separate lock. A quick change adapter having a female drive can be connected to the male square drive such that the tool handle can be used with a wide variety of tools including taps and extractors, sockets, screwdriver bits and the like.

Abstract: A handle assembly adapted to grasp a bar for exercise includes a J-shaped hook for placement on the bar, a rotation assembly, and a handle attached to the rotation assembly. The handle has an inverted U-shaped bracket with a cross piece defining a grip that is connected between ends of the U-bracket. The rotation assembly is connected between a lower end of the hook and the U-shaped bracket and includes a bearing, the handle being rotatable via the bearing by a user during exercise with the J-hook on the bar.

Abstract: A tool handle includes a cavity to receive a T-handle tool. When the tool handle is placed on the T-handle tool, the tool handle provides a better grip of the tool handle to apply greater torque. The tool handle includes a protrusion which is able to detachably couple with the T-handle tool. Once coupled with the T-handle tool, the tool handle is able to be grasped by a user to rapidly turn the T-handle tool. In some embodiments, the T-handle tool includes an added tool. A tool container is able to store T-handle tools and the tool handle. The tool container includes a locking mechanism to lock the tools in place and a tamper prevention mechanism to ensure the locking mechanism is not tampered with while the tool container is in the store.

The movable member is movable between a first position where a second retaining portion of the movable member is engaged with the first retaining portion of the base such that the handle cannot be pivotable relative to the base, and a second position where the second retaining portion of the movable member is disengaged from the first retaining portion of the base such that the handle can be pivotable relative to the base. An elastic member has two ends respectively connected to the handle and the movable member for providing a rebound force to the movable member.

In one aspect, the methods relate to shipping the implements, each of which includes the same overall, length. Abstract: A semiconductor device fabrication apparatus includes a load lock chamber, a loading assembly in the load lock chamber, and an ion implantation target chamber that is hermetically connected to the load lock chamber. The load lock chamber is configured to store a plurality of wafer plates. Each wafer plate respectively includes at least one semiconductor wafer thereon. The ion implantation target chamber is configured to implant an ion species into a semiconductor wafer on a currently loaded wafer plate. The loading assembly is also configured to load a next one of the plurality of wafer plates from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber. The loading assembly may be configured to load the next wafer plate from the load lock chamber into the ion implantation target chamber while substantially maintaining a current temperature within the ion implantation target chamber and/or without depressurizing the ion implantation target chamber. Related methods and devices are also discussed.

An object may be inserted through the at least one opening and contained in the handle body. The at least one opening may comprise of one opening, and the handle body may be cylindrical and further include a closed end located opposite the one opening. In one embodiment, the attachment member attaches directly to a storage unit and may include adhesive or a plurality of holes through which screws may be inserted. In another embodiment, the handle of the present invention may further include a receiving member that engages with the handle body's attachment member. The exercise assembly includes at least one handle assembly removably grasping the central bar and having a handle adapted to rotate 360 degrees during exercise.

Abstract: The ergonomic appliance handle is an extension handle that is attachable to a carrying or transport handle on a canister style vacuum cleaner or similar floor appliance. The ergonomic appliance handle provides an elongated handle shaft that is attached to the canister vacuum's handle at a proximate end of the handle shaft by a mounting assembly. Abstract: A winch bar is provided for use in combination with a strap winding winch for flatbed trailers. The bar has a rotatable link member at one end thereof which is provided with a hook portion adapted to interface with the apertures of the hub on one end of a reel of the winch. Upon the hook engaging the apertures, the bar can be rotated at a safe distance from the truck bed in order to rapidly, safely and securely rewind the strap onto the winch reel.

Abstract: A one piece fixed attachment for a portable power saw which replaces the upper handle on a power saw with a handle having a multiple pronged, u-shaped forward extension capable of supporting a saw vertically on end with its trigger handle in an upward position. When attached to a power saw, the saw can be hung over the top edge of rafters, joists, and sawhorses. It can also be used to hang a saw on a variety of level or pitched dimensional and “I beam” shaped materials securely. It is secured to the saw housing by screw fasteners that line up with threaded screw holes in the saw body housing and sawblade housing.

Abstract: An ergonomic cushion is adapted to be releasably attached to a proximal end of a fishing rod. The cushion has a top and a bottom that are integrally formed with one another. The top is wider than the bottom so that the cushion fits under an arm without cutting off circulation. A bore formed in the bottom snugly receives the proximal end. In a second embodiment, the cushion is solid and an elastic band tightly ensleeves the cushion and the proximal end of the rod so that all of the cushion is between the proximal end and the under arm area of the user. The butt end of the rod may be placed into a rod holder without removal of the cushion.

Abstract: A sewer hose support handle provides for easy storage and manual transport of a standard foldable sewer hose support as are popular among recreational vehicle owners. The flexible handle is formed from plastic and includes a biased longitudinal member having parallel ends. Abstract: A power tool having a handle includes a first member configured to selectively engage a housing of a power tool and a second member provided adjacent the first member and movable between a first position and a second position. A portion of the second member restricts movement of the first member when the second member is in the first position and the portion of the second member does not restrict movement of the first member when the second member is in the second position such that the first member may be moved to disengage the power tool housing.

Abstract: A connectorized ultrasound probe includes a distal section that is configured for insertion into a patient's body and a proximal section configured to interface the distal section with an ultrasound system. The distal section is easily attachable and detachable from the proximal section using at least one set of connectors. When connected, a user-operated actuator located on the proximal section controls the bending of the distal section, and the ultrasound system sends driving signals to and receives return signals from the ultrasound transducer via the proximal section. The proximal section also has a control bottom ergonomically arranged in relation to the actuator to allow actuation of the actuator and button with one hand.

Abstract: There is disclosed a manual assist for opening a window, door or other mechanism that slides in a preset track. The manual assist comprises an elongated, preferably contoured handle; a wedge near one end of the handle; and a base pivotally mounted to the handle near the wedge end.
