  • Patent number: 11454313
Abstract: A gearbox includes a housing, which has a lower housing part onto which an upper housing part is placed. The lower housing part and the upper housing part are in physical contact along a contact surface, for example, so that the contact surface between the lower and upper housing part lies in a plane and/or is planar. Cooling fins are situated on the housing, the cooling fins having a curved characteristic such that a portion of an axially directed airflow streaming along the housing, and thus in particular an airflow that is streaming parallel to the axis of rotation of the input shaft, is deflected in a transverse direction between two cooling fins disposed closest to each other in the axial direction in each case, the axial direction, for example, being parallel to the contact surface, e.g., the plane.

  • Patent number: 11242294
Abstract: This invention is a method for the processing of organic materials or organic wastes in a cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. The invention works both in the anaerobic or aerobic state. Processing organic material is accomplished by forcing the flow of gas through a pile of material, containing some organic matter, with liquids and gravity. The movement of gas and liquids through the pile results in very large increases in microorganism populations, accelerated evolution of the microorganisms, and corresponding increases in the processing provided organic materials.

Each of the objects is in communication with a supply of a coolant fluid and each control valve has an inlet for receiving coolant fluid from its respective object which reflects the temperature of the object. The control valve has a chamber that receives coolant from its inlet and an outlet. A valve member within the chamber is movable in response to changes in temperature of the coolant fluid within the chamber between a closed position and an open position. The valve member is of a layers of dissimilar metal material having different coefficients of thermal expansion that changes shape in response to changes in temperature. The coolant is carbon dioxide (CO2) that is in its supercritical state as it passes through the heat sources.
