  • Patent number: 10619764
Abstract: Disclosed is a cable guard device configured to be driven into ground near a transition point on an edge line delineating a yard area from a hardscape. Embodiments of the cable guard device comprise at least one stake portion, a cable guard channel configured to receive a cable, and a cable guard extension. When the cable is received through the cable guard channel and the at least one stake portion is driven into ground near the transition point on the edge line delineating the yard area from the hardscape, the cable channel guard protects from damage a first portion of the cable over the yard area and the cable guard extension protects from damage a second portion of the cable over the hardscape.

  • Patent number: 8624120
Abstract: A two-side cable-arrangement structure is disclosed. The two-side cable-arrangement structure includes a plate, a first cable-arrangement structure, and a second cable-arrangement structure. The first cable-arrangement structure and the second cable-arrangement structure are respectively disposed on two sides of the plate. A cable is fixed on the two sides of the plate by the first cable-arrangement structure and the second cable-arrangement structure simultaneously. Thereby, the cable is constrained at both the direction vertical toward the plate and the direction vertical away from the plate, and the fixed cable is not easy to move by pulling. It solves the difficulty of fixing a cable completely by a conventional single-side cable-arrangement structure in the prior art.

  • Patent number: 7161087
Abstract: A module is mounted to a object with a fastener and a special washer. The fastener engages the object through a mounting opening in mounting portion of a module case. The washer has a first portion extending obliquely outward and downward to be deformed between the fastener head and an electrically non-conducting surface of the mounting portion and thus increase a mounting force on the module with mounting advancement of the fastener. The washer has a second portion extending axially into the internal opening to contact an electrically conducting insert therein and thus create a series electrical circuit from the typically grounded object through the fastener, washer and insert to a detecting circuit, which verifies that the module is securely mounted with a predetermined mounting force.

  • Patent number: 7154042
Abstract: An electric connector assembly disclosing various embodiments, each of which includes a connector body having a frustro-conically shaped outlet end portion that converges toward the outlet opening and having a complementary frustro conically shaped retainer ring circumscribing the outlet end portion wherein the retainer ring is integrally formed with a locking tang and ground tangs arranged to be snap fitted to a knock-out hole of an electric box. The latest embodiment includes a frustro-conical retainer ring having an auxiliary tang arranged to permit the connector assembly to be obliquely inserted and locked to a knock-out hole of an electric box using a minimum of applied force for effecting a snap fit connection to both lock and electrically ground the connector assembly to the electric box and a method of installing the associated connector body to an electric box.

  • Patent number: 5901044
Abstract: A power module with leads extending upwardly. The circuit components and connections of the power module are arranged upon a substrate having interface leads attached thereto extending away from the undersurface of the substrate. The interface leads extend through openings in a form fitting molded case. The case has an open center region to facilitate performance of final assembly steps upon the module and is subsequently covered with a rugged lid and is encapsulated with a suitable potting material. The interior of the module is filled with a gel to provide moisture-proof protection.
