For large cables, a simple tie (106) wrapped tightly around the housing rear portion presses directly against the cable. For smaller cables, an insert (120) that is molded as part of the housing, slides through the slot and presses the cable against the opposite side of the housing, with a tie pressing the insert against the cable.

The clamp is inserted between a cable and an interior wall of the knock-out opening until a right angled step passes thorough the knock-out opening, thereby locking the clamp into position with the cable firmly and securely held between an obtusely angled step of the clamp and an interior wall of the knock-out opening. The number and size of the obtusely angled and right angled steps on the clamp may be varied to accommodate cables and knock-outs of various sizes.

    Abstract: Lighting fixture has a self-contained triangular junction box that mounts in the corner of a room or space with the box cover secured as a permanent part of the shade-like lamp housing. The lamp housing has a back panel with a cut-out that slips over the corner mounted junction box, the box cover extending into the housing for registration with the open side of the box when the housing is in place. A single screw joins the box cover to the box and thereby secures the lamp housing thereto.
