Abstract: The “Time on Your Hand” Short Finger Glove is a new invention that not only will create a fashion statement but will be a benefit to the wearer. It will allow active consumers to comfortably and safely wear a timepiece while working out, fashioned of a breathable leather material with an elastic wristband for a secure fit. The glove itself could be offered in a one-size fit all configuration or in small, medium, and large designation to accommodate all users. Completely covering the palm and the back of the hand the, Time on your Hand” Short Finger Glove would feature “fingers” that extend up to the bottom knuckle joint of the wearer's fingers, leaving the top portion of the digits exposed. While sports and exercises can be fun and satisfying activities that help to strength physical health, the constant demands of on-the-go living are always hovering in the background, even when engaging in recreation.

Abstract: A sterile glove that includes a hand and finger portion, a cuff having an inside surface and an outside surface, and a cuff rim. The cuff is adapted to be folded over at a fold when the glove is packaged, and a portion of the inside surface of the cuff becomes an outer facing surface when it is folded over. The glove further includes a detachable tab that is coupled to the inside surface and includes a free end and a non-free end. The glove further includes a detachable shield covering at least a portion of the outer facing surface when the cuff is folded over at the fold.

Abstract: A surgical system including a surgical glove having support systems such as, but not limited to, lights, electrical cautery, suction, and irrigation. The surgical glove may include one or more lights, electrical cautery, suction, and irrigation positioned on distal ends of fingers of the surgical glove. The support systems may be controlled with switches positioned on the fingers upon which each support system is positioned. The switches may be operable with the thumb on the human hand upon which the surgical glove is attached. The surgical system may also include a surgical gown having a connection system for attaching support conduit to the surgical gown. The surgical system enables a surgeon to have a plurality of support systems immediately available and reduces entanglement problems endemic with conventional systems.

Abstract: A burp cloth device that is designed to protects a mother's hand while feeding and burping an infant. In this manner, the amount of an infant's spit-up that contacts the mother's hand is limited and the mother's skin need not become irritated by the contact with stomach acid or the need for excess washing. The burp cloth device has a hand pouch that defines an open interior. The hand pouch has at least one side opening that provides access into the open interior by a user's hand. A cloth panel extends below the hand pouch. The cloth panel has side edges that extend downwardly to a free hanging end. Secondary features, such as a catch pocket, protruding tabs and teething surfaces can be added to the cloth panel.

Abstract: A golf glove hand warmer compartment is a significant upgrade to the standard golf glove. By holding an air activated hand warmer in place, heat is transferred directly and continuously to the back of the hand. Thermally conductive fabric transfers heat from the back of the hand to the fingers. A simple hook and loop clasp not only facilitates the ease of insertion and removal of the hand warmer, but also secures the hand warmer in place during the rigors of a golf swing.

Abstract: Mouthpiece retention systems and methods are shown and described. In one example, a mouthpiece includes a guard shaped to fit in a wearer's mouth and a magnet. In other examples, the mouthpiece includes a semi-rigid grip having a proximate end attached to the guard and a distal end securing the magnet. A method of releasably fastening the mouthpiece includes removing the mouthpiece from the wearer's mouth and positioning the magnet end of the mouthpiece on an athletic uniform to create a coupling position.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a glove system including a glove and a wrist attachment. The glove has a base portion, which includes a first fastener. The wrist attachment includes one or more straps for enabling wearing of the wrist attachment on a human wrist, a functional feature, and a second fastener adapted to couple with the first fastener and for selectively attaching the first wrist attachment to the glove.

Abstract: A sterile glove includes a hand and finger portion and a cuff having an inside surface and an outside surface. The cuff is adapted to be folded over at a fold when the glove is packaged in a sterile package and the fold forms an opening for inserting a hand into the glove. A stretching mechanism is coupled substantially near or on the fold and is adapted to increase a size of the opening while donning the glove. At least a portion of the stretching mechanism is detachable. The stretching mechanism has an unstretched state and a stretched state, and the stretching mechanism is in the unstretched state when the glove is packaged.

Abstract: A glove with a support system is disclosed. The support system comprises a number of individual support sections, each of which is comprised of a number of arcuate support segments that encircle a portion of a finger and allow forward flexural movement while helping to reduce hyperextension of the finger. The support system is also designed to help reduce the possibility of the finger jamming.

The body may further include a wrist band and a plurality of finger bands connected thereto. The device may further include a plurality of light-emitting sources displayed on an exterior surface of the body, and a mechanism may be included for selectively toggling independent ones of the light-emitting sources between illuminated and non-illuminated modes by selectively pivoting one metacarpal of the user hand region along a plurality of positions defined within the body while maintaining remaining metacarpals of the user hand region at a static position. Such a selectively toggling mechanism preferably includes a manually actuated user interface attached to the exterior surface of the body.

Abstract: An archer's hand support structure apparatus and method of use is disclosed to help stabilize an archer's hand during string draw and string release of an archer's bow. The archer's hand support structure apparatus includes a band of flexible material adapted to encase the archer's hand, the band having a first edge portion extending adjacent to an archer's distal hand portion and a second edge portion extending adjacent to an archer's proximal hand portion. The band also includes an aperture therethrough disposed substantially adjacent to the first edge portion for receiving a thumb of the archer's hand. Further included is a stiffener positioned adjacent to the band, the stiffener also extending lengthwise substantially from the band first edge portion to the band second edge portion and the band also includes structure for removably engaging the band from the archer's bow.

The side mirror pad is connected to the palm back surface of the palm segment of the body and has a mirror face, a securing end and a connecting end. The securing end is connected to the palm back surface of the palm segment of the body. The connecting end is selectively connected detachably to the securing end and the palm back surface of the palm segment. The side mirror is mounted on the mirror face of the side mirror pad.

The hand wearable article includes a body portion having a palmar side and a dorsal side, the body portion further defining a cuff opening, four finger stalls extending from the body portion, each finger stall including a finger tip portion and a finger strap configured to gather excess finger stall material, and a thumb stall extending from the body portion and including a thumb tip portion and a thumb strap configured to gather excess thumb stall material. An electro-heat unit includes a heat plate, a power source and a controller, the heat plate is electrically connected to the power source by a cable and the controller is electrically connected to the power source. The heat plate includes four insertion plates so as to be inserted into the finger pouches and each insertion plate has a heating item which is powered by electric power to provide temperature to the wearer's fingers.

The system includes a reed switch in the middle finger of the glove, a magnet connected to the thumb of the glove, and a lighting means. The system is configured such that bringing the reed switch and the magnet within a threshold distance from each other causes the reed switch to effect illumination of the lighting means.

Abstract: A glove including an elastomeric material having a hand portion, the hand portion has a first finger, and the first finger comprises nodules. The first finger may be a ring finger location. The nodules may be positioned at the top of the ring finger location. The nodules are configured to provide enhanced grip of tools, such as dental instruments. A method including creating a glove using elastomeric material and forming nodules on a first finger of the glove. The glove may be formed using a mold shaped like a hand, dipping the hand shaped mold into the elastomeric material, and drying the elastomeric material. The nodules may be formed on a first finger of the glove by dipping the glove into a mold or by placing droplets on the glove.

Abstract: A glove includes a compartment that is configured to receive items. The glove can be substantially tight fitting and the compartment can be substantially the size of the back of the hand. The compartment, which may be expandable, holds items securely against the back of the hand without compromising the flexibility or movement of the hand. To that end, a portion of the compartment may be free from a back panel of the glove. The compartment can also be part of a flap that is configured to tighten the glove around the hand. The compartment includes a closure that is positioned adjacent to a fixed or selectively separable anchored edge that connects the flap to the back panel of the glove. The closure can be operated to access the interior of the compartment without undesirably separating the flap from the back panel.

Abstract: This invention comprises of one-time single-use gloves made from latex or vinyl that have a built in pocket space on the outside surface (the term “outside surface” refers to the surface of the glove that is distal from the body of the wearer) of the glove in palm and fingers areas that have tiny surface holes on the outside surface of the pocket to allow dispensing of solution that is sealed under a plastic pull back tab. Once the tab is pulled back, the solution can be forced out of the pocket's tiny holes located on the outside surface of the pocket, by squeezing the hands gently for small amounts or firmly to allow larger amounts of solution. These gloves can be produced to be sterile or non-sterile, depending on the need of the product. The purpose of these gloves are to provide a one time use solution to administering topical solutions, medication and shampoos to human and animal patients, providing a sterile approach when necessary, provide a barrier to disease between the caregiver and patient.

The hand exercise device may include a flat or wavy ferrous material 150, 151, 152 or a randomly disposed magnetic field 161 to aid in exercising the hand.

Abstract: The gloves having snap-on cleaning pads include a front cleaning pad and a rear cleaning pad. Both the front and the rear cleaning pad are capable of contouring the knuckle regions of the hand, and attach to the glove via a plurality of snap buttons and/or nylon hook and loop fasteners. The front and rear cleaning pads are disposable and are made of a scouring material such as metal wool. The gloves themselves are made of a waterproof material such as rubber or latex.

Abstract: A vibration damping device for use in a work glove includes a planar plastic body having palm, thumb and finger areas, and a plurality of resilient, compressible projections extending outwardly from at least one surface of the body. Planar areas or webs in the knuckle and finger joint areas of the body make the device flexible for easy grasping of a tool and bunching of projections in such areas. Bunching of the projections is also avoided or reduced by arranging the projections in parallel, arcuate rows extending from the thumb side rearwardly toward the wrist end of the body.

Abstract: A weighted glove comprising a glove having a plurality of finger portions, at least one of the finger portions including at least a first weight member positioned on a back side of the glove, and a strap secured to the at least one of the finger portions. Abstract: A golf glove patch system has a backing sheet fabricated of a plastic material, a patch with a lower and an upper surface and with a peripheral edge taking a geometric shape, and an adhesive secured to the lower surface of the patch adjacent to its peripheral edge with a central free of adhesive. The patch is temporarily coupled to the backing sheet through the adhesive and is adapted to be removed from the backing sheet and placed on the glove and secured to the glove by the adhesive. The central extent of the patch is over a tear in the glove and is in contact with a portion of a user's hand.

Abstract: A fingertip manipulation device is provided which gives the user the ability to manipulate items such as small controls on consumer electronic products while wearing gloves. The fingertip manipulation device includes a mounting disk that is placed inside a glove preferably at the fingertip, a projecting member extending substantially perpendicularly from the mounting disk and configured to extend through the glove material, and a tip that is attached on the exterior of the glove to the distal end of the perpendicular projecting member. A method of conveniently inserting the device into a glove fingertip, as well as an insertion device, is provided. While wearing gloves to protect the hands, the tip of the fingertip manipulation device is easily used to engage or manipulate switches, buttons, or items.

The glove is formed of an acoustically transmissive elastomeric material that is substantially non-porous and sufficiently thin to allow tactile sensitivity and dexterity.

Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustable glove that enables the user's thumb and other fingers to interact and communicate with electronic devices while wearing the glove. The inventive glove has a thumb and finger pouch portion made of a thin, tactile material, and a body portion made up of thicker insulated material which covers the balance of the user's hand. The pouch forms a skin tight fit on the thumb and fingers through an adjustable band connected to the pouch and removably attachable to non-pouch portions of the glove, such as in the vicinity of the basilar joint for the pouch covering the thumb.

Abstract: The personal weapon includes a base and blade support pivotally attached to the base, with a plurality of blades extending from the blade support. The assembly is installed across the upper palm and adjacent bases of the fingers of a glove, with backing plates providing additional reinforcement for the assembly. The blades extend selectively as the palm is opened and the fingers extended, with the blades retracting into slots in the base when the fingers are closed over the palm. The device extends only across the second through fourth fingers, leaving the index finger free for e.g., firearm trigger actuation, etc. independent of blade deployment. A thumb-actuated safety is also provided to lock the blades in their retracted positions. The glove may be fingerless or partially fingered, or may include complete, fully enclosed fingers.

The invention further relates to a sports glove incorporating such finger protector.

Abstract: A battery powered accessory glove includes a power pack with a plurality of plug-in outlet ports. The power pack includes a power switch, which the user can activate to send power to the outlets. Velcro fastener strips are located near the fingertips and are used to mount a device to the strips. The device is plugged into the corresponding outlet. The glove can be used to power gadgets that are directed to the wrist and arm. The Velcro fastener allows the user to make adjustments and allows the user to change the location of the device.

At least one strap is attached to the panel member for at least partially wrapping around the wrist of the hand to anchor at least a portion of the panel member to the hand.

Abstract: A hand covering comprises a shell and a hood. The hood of the hand covering is selectively disposable in multiple configurations. In one configuration, the hood can be disposed so that it covers part of the finger portion. In another configuration, the hood can be disposed so that it does not cover the finger portion and the entire finger portion is exposed. In one embodiment, the hand covering includes a movement mechanism that can be manipulated to move the hood relative to the shell.

Abstract: A system for cooling the skin of a human or animal user includes thermally conductive elements (120) with fluid-wicking surfaces (124), ways to flexibly interconnect the elements, methods for storing a cooling fluid and distributing it to elements (120), and ways to maintain elements (120) in contact with a user's skin. When at least portions of the elements (120) are in contact with a user's skin and at least portions of the element surfaces are wet with fluid, the evaporation of fluid from the surfaces transports heat from the user's skin into the surrounding air, thereby cooling the user. More powerful embodiments further include an air space (165) parallel and adjacent to the user's skin into which elements (120) penetrate, and a fan for moving air through the air space (165), thereby speeding the evaporation of fluid from the surfaces of the elements (120).
