Abstract: A child-resistant container for dispensing pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical tablets is described. The child-resistant container includes a receptacle defining an opening, a neck that includes an outer surface and at least one thread formed on the outer surface of the neck. The child-resistant container further includes a rim adjacent to the neck having a push-tab locking device. The receptacle is configured to receive a plurality of pouches, wherein each pouch includes a plurality of tablets associated with a multiple prescription order that indicates when the tablets are to be consumed, and a label disposed on the receptacle and associated with the multiple prescription order. The child-resistant container is configured to hold a plurality of pouches, where each pouches contains at least one type of tablet. The child-resistant container includes a label with information about the contents of the pouches, patient information, and a bar code associating the medications with the patient.

Abstract: Disclosed is a single-piece container adapted to receive and secure an insert card. The container is a generally rectangular, relatively flat structure having an interior chamber defined by a top surface, a bottom surface, one open end, and one closed end. The container is formed from a blow molding process and adapted to receive an insert card. The container further comprises locking elements that work in cooperation with the insert card to secure the insert card within the interior chamber such that it can not be removed without manipulation of the locking elements. The material comprising the container can be a clear plastic such that optical scan codes present on an insert card contained within the container can be read through the container.

At least one lid is moveable between a covering position and an open position. The lid includes a first locking member that is sized to project into the holder when the respective lid is in the covering position. The release position includes a position in which the second locking member is disengaged from all of the first locking members. The second locking member includes opposite first and second ends. The safe or strong box has a revolving door that, when a proper code/combination/biometric is provided, rotatably opens to expose the contents. One of the pins is installed in each of the slots for enabling the main member of the lid to slidingly extend over the body of the group lock box before the lid is rotated away from the body to provide access to the contents therein.

Abstract: The present invention is a self contained, portable security case or container. The case is secure in its locked condition by locks which are preferably operated by an electronic key. The electronic key can be programmed to open the case or container dependent upon various different conditions, for example, location, time, identification of operator, etc. In addition to the electronic key, a biometric identification device can be employed. The exterior of the case or container is made from different materials which are impermeable and resistant to heat, drilling and ballistic impact. A GPS type of location device located within the case enables the case to be tracked from remote locations.

The sled lock includes a ramped surface facing the open end of the bottom cover and a flat vertical surface facing the closed end of the bottom cover. The sled is adapted to sit between the top and bottom cover when the packaging system is assembled. The sled includes a dagger (42) capable of receiving and retaining an insert card. Pressure applied to the top and bottom covers or the sides proximate to where the sled is positioned will cause the sled to deflect inward and result in the trailing edge of the sled clearing the sled lock.

Abstract: An application for a safe or strong box attaches to a larger, heavy object and provides improved security to its contents from unwanted removal. The safe or strong box has a revolving door that, when a proper code/combination/biometric is provided, rotatably opens to expose the contents. In one embodiment, the safe/strong box interfaces to, for example, a bedding system using a barbed plate that readily inserts between a box spring and a mattress, but due to the barbs, is difficult to remove without lifting the mattress from the box spring making it at least difficult to remove by, for example, children in the home. In some embodiments, sound dampening devices are provided to provide a quiet retraction of the revolving door, so as to not alert an intruder when the occupant is retrieving a weapon such as a pistol.
