Abstract: A desk tidy has a body, an insert and a base. The body is diaphanous, has a top, a bottom, a container, an outer wall and a chamber. The container is centrally formed on the top of the body and has an inner surface, an outer surface for mounting stationery and a bottom. The chamber is formed between the inner surface container and the outer wall. The insert is removably mounted in the chamber of the body and has an outer surface with a design. The base is selectively mounted securely on the bottom of the body. Therefore, the design of the insert can be protected and easily changed.

Abstract: A school organization system which may include a panel, a writing surface coupled to the panel, a clear window coupled to the panel, a first folder coupled to the panel; and a second folder coupled to the panel. The writing surface may include a magnetic re-writable writing surface. The writing surface may include a flexible magnetic dry erase board. The writing surface may include an approximately letter sized blank writing surface and a permanent calendar. The clear window and the panel may be coupled to define an opening between the clear window and the panel for inserting a document thereto via a side of the clear window. The opening between the clear window and the panel may be oriented horizontally. The first folder may include a clear label window coupled to a front side of the first folder.

Abstract: A billfold or pocket wallet for carrying paper money, credit cards, identification cards and the like comprising means to carry a paper notepad and a writing utensil integrated therein. Abstract: An expandable storage case is disclosed for storing various writing utensils. The storage case includes a base, an inner carousel, a top carousel, and a lid. The base, the inner carousel, and the top carousel are connected in a telescoping manner such that the storage case may be expanded from a collapsed position to an expanded, in-use position. The storage case includes a locking mechanism to selectively secure the storage case in the expanded position.

Abstract: Print sheets 7 stacked up are inserted into a package member 8 so that the sheets 7 in this state can be set in a printer together with the package member 8. The package member 8 is provided with an identification mark 31 while the printer is equipped with a reflective sensor so that the identification mark 31 will be placed in a reading area of the reflective sensor only when the sheet package 9 is loaded in the printer in a correct direction.

The container also includes a plurality of trapezoidal shaped upper chambers opening outwardly away from the center opening and a plurality of trapezoidal shaped covers for closing the upper and lower chambers.

The folder body includes at least two foldable covers, between which a file accommodating portion is formed. A combined locating portion is assembled at a preset location of the folder body. It has a size sufficient to completely cover a predetermined range of conventional documents (or other items), and in one embodiment, has side walls that taper from a wider bottom that may be longer than the predetermined documents to a narrower top that is typically shorter than the predetermined documents so that the side edges of the predetermined documents are at least partially visible to evidence their presence in the pocket. A narrow elastic strip joins each of the opposing side edges to the exterior surface at a location along the exterior surface that is outboard of opposing edges of the predetermined documents so that they may slide into the pocket free of interference for the joint between the elastic strips and the exterior surface.

Abstract: A caddy is disclosed for holding at least one marker therein. The caddy comprises a body that has at least one elongated channel therein. Each channel is adapted to receive one of the markers slidably therein. Each channel terminates at a distal end in a fitted cap portion for hermetically receiving a marking end of one of the markers. Preferably the body is comprised of a plastic top shell and a plastic bottom shell each fixed together at a seam along peripheral edges thereof. The body further includes side edges having an ergonomic grip and a substantially flat bottom side for fixing thereto a removable eraser pad. A battery-operated laser pointer device may be further included within the body. An actuator activates the laser pointer device to produce a laser beam that projects through a laser beam apertures of the body.

For example, a sharpener is also provided for sharpening writing instruments. The sharpener may be removably disposable within a bin and may have a truncated generally pyramidal shape. The wallet remains closed when the top and bottom are latched to each other and will open by itself when the latch is unlatched. The school document storage system includes an outer housing having a cover member, and a plurality of inner compartments removably positioned within an interior of the outer housing. A transparent pocket is preferably positioned within the front portion of the outer housing for receiving a picture or other display item. A plurality of closure apertures are within the cover member that removably receive closure members attached to the upper sides of the outer housing. The cover member preferably has an upper member, a front member extending from the upper member and a pair of side members extending from the upper member.

Abstract: A kit for housing an improved design for crayons includes a container with two chambers. One of the chambers is provided with a blade and a rotatable member for assisting a user to position the crayons against the blade for sharpening purposes. Also included are crayons positionable into another chamber for storage. Such crayons have a plurality of integral faces equidistantly spaced apart from a centrally disposed longitudinal axis thereof respectively. The crayon faces define a plurality of angles therebetween with each of the angles equaling approximately 60 degrees, resulting in substantially triangular cross-sections defining an isometric shape.

Abstract: A marker pen supporting and holding device includes a cavity for capturing a marker pen cap therein consisting of principal and auxiliary cavity portions. The principal cavity portion is provided for receiving a protective cap body and the auxiliary cavity portion is provided for guiding and captivating a marker cap pocket attachment clip. A securing pin extends through aligned device body apertures to traverse a gap between the cap body and the pocket attachment clip, thereby removably securing the cap within the device to enable one-handed marker pen handling.

Abstract: An improved self-lifting apparatus for a box cover including a bent bar locator on the box cover with both ends bended to accommodate an elastic component. The elastic component is provided with extended arms on both ends, one end pressing the bent bar and the other end being inserted into a hole of the box, thereby simplifying the production procedure and allowing box cover to be lifted automatically. With the elastic component, the bent bar is usable as a file holder in the box and the box can be used for a longer period of time.

Abstract: A carrier for elongate, cylindrical chalk sticks comprises a body of flexible material having opposite ends, opposite sides, and inner and outer surfaces. Chalk stick pockets extend into the body from the inner surface toward the outer surface in four rows spaced apart in the direction between the opposite sides and each row includes 50 pockets spaced apart in the direction between the opposite ends. The pockets are elongated in the direction between the opposite sides of the body, and said body is rollable in the direction between the opposite ends to form a roll enclosing said pockets and which roll can be releasably held in the rolled condition by suitable fasteners.

Abstract: A multi-use tape dispenser includes a housing with an open upper side, and a tape dispenser body pivotally connected to the housing to swing up and down on the housing. Small stationery items can be stored in a hollow space in the housing and may be taken out for use when the tape dispenser is swung up. The bottom of the housing has four suction discs to secure the tape dispenser on a table.

Abstract: A clip holder includes a container arranged inside a casing with a space therebetween. The container has a top opening defined by a circumferential edge for receipt of paper clips. Two slots that are extended in such a way not to coincide with each other for retaining a notepaper in a deformed manner. The deformation of the notepaper induces friction between the notepaper and the slots thereby effectively retaining the notepaper in an upright manner. A disk magnet is positioned under the bottom of the container and two magnetic bars are arranged on opposite sides of the container and adjacent the side wall of the container. The magnets are arranged so that the same polarity of the magnetic bars oppose each other, while an opposite polarity of the disk magnet face toward the bottom of the container.

Abstract: A packaging device is provided for packaging at least one disc-shaped item such as a recording media together with other materials in a stacked relationship. The packaging device comprises a first member having a center column for its upper portion and a means for receiving and retaining the other materials as its lower portion, which first member is slidably inserted through the opening of and into the chamber of an elongated second member. A cover is provided to close the opening of the second member, thereby sealing the contents of both members. A central support structure for the disc media acts in combination with the annular opening at the center of the disc media so as to allow the disc media to rotate, while limiting the linear movement of the disc media. A method is further provided for packaging such disc-shaped item and other material within the packaging device.
