Abstract: A device for dispensing individual servings of a cold beverage, either having a refrigeration unit to chill the beverage or a removable pitcher that may be put in a refrigerator. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. A dispensing mechanism puts pressure on the cartridge or the pouch to break the pressure rupturable seal or diaphragm to discharge the concentrate into a mixing structure. The mixing structure also receives chilled liquid from the refrigeration unit or the pitcher, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.

Abstract: This invention relates to the methods for preventing pollution of the glass of the front window of a housing for an outdoor surveillance video camera 2 and the housings in which they are implemented. On the external side of this glass 5, a pipe 3 is installed whose first butt end 8 is open to the environment and the second butt end closes the said glass. Using a blowing engine 10 installed in the housing, a pressure is being created in the pipe that exceeds the pressure outside the pipe; using a heater 11, an air flow is being heated in a closed body 1 of the housing and an air supplied to the blowing engine inlet is being cleaned using the filter 13. The microprocessor unit 12 controls the heater, the blowing engine, and the video camera. Technical result: prevention of dust, fogging, water drops, snow from accumulating and frost from depositing on the glass of the front window of the housing for the outdoor surveillance video camera.

This provides the battery holder with a friction fit with the standard sized battery. The battery holder may also be provided in a liner for the lighted glasses case. Upper and lower housing portions of the case are pivotably connected together to be pivotable with respect to each other between a closed configuration to form a housing interior space sized to receive the lighted glasses therein and an open configuration to provide access to the interior space to remove or replace the lighted glasses therein.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a reservoir, such as a mud pan, operatively coupled to a light source. The light source can be adapted to illuminate a surface when operatively held by a user. Imperfections of the surface can be more visible to a user of the reservoir as a result of said illumination. The user can remove spackling compound from the reservoir to repair the imperfections.

Abstract: A toy figure display stand displays a toy figure behind a transparent fluid-retaining wall, thus simulating immersion of the toy figure within the transparent fluid. The simulated immersion provides an additional level of engagement between the toy figure and a child or collector. The wall may include an interior transparent shell portion and an exterior transparent shell portion. The interior transparent shell portion and the exterior transparent shell portion may together define a cavity. A fluid may be received within the cavity.

Abstract: A medical bag is described that has a carrying configuration and a dispensing configuration and comprises a handle for carrying the bag and a space within the bag for accommodating a tapered storage drawer, the space tapering from a wide end to a narrow end and the drawer being of a corresponding shape to the space. When the bag is carried by the handle in the carrying configuration, the bottom surface of the space slopes down towards the narrow end so that gravity acts to force the drawer towards the narrow end of the space; however, because of its size, the drawer cannot pass through the narrow end of the space, thereby retaining the tapered storage drawer within the space.

Abstract: The paper towel dispenser utilizes the configuration and proportional scale of a real class A RV (Recreational Vehicle). The awning in the replication is the towel guide. The towel guide can be opened and closed with the aid of the side armature which is also a replication of the real awning. A lighting array has been added to the bottom of the awning/towel guide to add another aspect to the replication of a real class A (Recreational Vehicle). The interior houses the paper towel roll, paper towel hanger, an on and off switch, battery container for the lighting array (battery and solar) and an area to accommodate condiment dispensers. Four nonskid rubber pads are affixed to the bottom of the unit to protect surfaces and aid in it's functionality.

Abstract: One embodiment of an inherently unstable vase with a magnet (3) attached to the base of the vase container (1). One pole of the magnet (3) allows the vase to be magnetically attracted to any metal object, including a ferrous metal base (4) plate. A ferrous block (2) near the opposite magnet pole augments the force provided by the magnet. The center of gravity of the vase would not allow the vase to remain upright without the use of the magnetic forces. A non-ferrous material can be placed between the vase magnet (3) and base (4), hiding the method by which the inherently unstable vase remains upright. Vases can be magnetically attached to one another, creating multi-tier vase arrangements. Magnetic forces allow the vases to be easily arranged and reconfigured to the desired angle, height, and shape. Also, the magnetic forces inhibit the vase from toppling due to perturbations.
