Abstract: A storage device for storing a roller includes an upper member and a lower member that is pivotally connected along an edge of the upper member, the upper and lower members defining therebetween an enclosed cavity with the storage device in a closed position. The upper and lower members together define an opening, in the closed position, that extends into the enclosed cavity, the opening being sized to accommodate a handle of the roller with a nap of the roller disposed within the enclosed cavity. Each of the upper and lower members have at least one corresponding projection that extends into the enclosed cavity a predetermined distance to engage the roller and to prevent contact between the nap and the upper and lower members.

  • Patent number: 6793882
Abstract: A container (30) for use in sterilizing an object has a first end (35) and a second end (38). The container (30) is suitably sized to receive an endoscopic telescope (45) for sterilization. Once the endoscopic telescope (45) has been inserted into the container (30), a lid (46) having a vapour permeable section (47) is fitted to the container. The container and object are then sterilized, for example, by autoclaving. After sterilization, use of the container requires a noon-sterile nurse in an operating theatre to push the ends (35, 38) together. A collapsible or deformable portion (42) collapses and the ends (35, 38) move closer together to thereby force the telescope (45) out of the container (30), where is can be removed by a sterile nurse.

Abstract: The nature of my invention is that I used an already existing product which was a type of brush that is used for other applications. Some of which are as a cosmetic brush and also as a cleaning brush for jewelry and hearing aides. I altered its design to become a new and useful product. This new product is a sanitized wrapped miniature disposable toothbrush. The handle of my brush is made longer and has 5 tufts of bristles instead of 7. This new style of brush is sanitized and then wrapped. The old style of brush was never sanitized wrapped and used for the application of a disposable toothbrush.

The paintbrush storage container also is an excellent method of short-term storage of a paintbrush still wet with latex types of paint. Since the container can be sealed almost air tight, the painter can place the wet brush in the container, seal it, and leave the brush unattended without the paint drying on the bristles for a short period of time.
