    Abstract: The apparatus is associated with a spinning or twisting machine and removes individual textile bobbin tubes from a reservoir, such as a container which contains such bobbin tubes. The break-up rod or bar is supported in the longitudinal sides of the container with play on all sides and in a freely rotatable manner.     Abstract: A spinning machine has a plurality of spinning stations and a transport installation including a conveyor belt for receiving ready spun spinning bodies and for conveying them to a container in a predetermined sequence. A thread sensor scans the spinning stations with respect to thread breaks and supplies corresponding data to an evaluation device. This device has a memory in which the thread break number and thread break standstill time of the individual spinning bodies are stored and expressed on call. These stored values are used to control a sorting device which operates in such a way that the spinning bodies are sorted into different containers according to their thread break number and thread break standstill time. A quality selection of the spinning bodies may, therefore, be made in that, for example, all spinning bodies which are produced without any thread breaks and with the same yarn length are judged as being perfect and may be directly further used.

The distance of the lateral guide edges from the guide table is equal to the mean bobbin tube diameter and the mutual distance between which diminishes, seen in the direction of the bobbin tube supply, from a value greater than the bobbin tube length to a value smaller than the bobbin tube length. During their movement in the supply direction the bobbin tubes are forced to move longitudinally in the direction of their tip end, which permits sorting them with their tip end to one side.

By utilizing a wall extending between the two conveyor belts and providing an opening therein of a predetermined size and shape at the location at which bobbins are fed onto the card belt such that only empty bobbins or bobbins having less than a predetermined amount of yarn thereon can pass therethrough onto the card belt, bobbins can be additionally sorted according to the amount of yarn thereon.

The perforated baffle plate extends adjacent the shredding drum to confine the roving thereto and for suction to be drawn therethrough to direct the roving to the shredding drum.

Cops which do not satisfy a required pattern of marks, are rejected. The spintubes are provided with detection rings of a material which is different from that of the tube itself. The detection rings may also be of a different material thickness than the remainder of the spintube. The detection rings, moreover, may be made of metal, and a magnetic field or a high-frequency signal may be used in conjunction with the detection system. The metal may be in the form of iron, copper or aluminum.

    Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for conveying cops and bobbins for directly connecting a ring frame with a winder wherein one operation to feed those cops which are doffed onto the transport-bands on both the right and left sides of the ring frame to the subsequent process from one end of each of the transport-bands and the other operation to receive bobbins needed for the next doffing onto the transport-band are together simultaneously performed, with these two simultaneous operations being repeated. This invention has no provision of a random stock zone and the substantial function of bobbin stock is given to the transport-band, and the bobbin returned from the winder is adjusted in alignment thereof by the bobbin aligning device and conveyed by the bobbin stock conveyor and dropped onto the transport-band.
