Abstract: An adjustable reusable modular packaging crate and assembly kit is purposed for safe transportation of preferably mostly two-dimensional items. Several latching corner subassemblies each hold two perpendicular frame extensions that may be locked into adjustable lengths to make crate frame sides. Sets of adjustable clamps interact with the item to be shipped and the crate frame, to assist in securing the item to be shipped. Extendable frame components allow for a frame that adjusts precisely to the size of the item to be shipped. Frame locks securely fix the dimensions of the packaging crate. Gusset subassemblies and cross-corner struts add rigidity to the crate. Corner, frame, strut, and gusset components interlock to create a rigid packaging crate. Frame links enable crate frame sides to be connected side-by-side, adding to the depth of the crate frame. The modular crate may be easily disassembled for low-space storage between uses, and easily reassembled for reuse.

Each of the side wall elements has a foldable attachment element connected to it. When folded up, the attachment elements of the four side wall elements will form an attachment which will increase the volumetric capacity of the crates. The attachment elements will each bear on an upper side of the respective side wall element and be retained in the folded-up position by guides provided on the side wall elements. When folded down, the respective attachment elements can be integrated into the respective side wall element in such a manner that the attachment elements at least will not protrude substantially over the thickness of the side wall elements.

Abstract: The invention concerns a propagator with a skeletal structure consisting of floor (5), roof (3), side (1) and door elements (1?) which can each be separately and variably joined together and each have a light- and airtight covering (7) and guides (9) for stabilization and also connecting elements (11, 17). The covering (7) consists of several layers and has a highly reflective inner layer. The stabilizing elements are made of round steel tubes. The connectors are flaps (11) which are connected to one another with hook-and-loop fastenings (13). A further connector element is a three-arm connector (17) for connecting side elements (1, 1?) to one another. The invention also involves a flange for connecting an interior compartment to an exterior framework, with a threaded connector (23) which can be guided precisely through an opening (21) in the border between the interior and the outside, and a threaded ring (25) which works together with the thread on the connector (23) to form the flange.

  • Patent number: 7581655
Abstract: A pullbox assembly for use in wiring having an upwardly tapered cylindrical main body having a larger diameter base than top for preventing upward movement of the pullbox when installed in the ground due to frost or soil conditions. The taper of the pullbox allows fill to be placed all around the pullbox easily. The pullbox may have a base with apertures, or a ledge at the base's rim, for allowing fill to exit when lifting the pullbox to a desired height in a hole. The fill exiting the base of the pullbox forms a smooth, even base for the pullbox when the pullbox is rotated in the hole. The apertures in the base also act as drainholes for letting water in and out and preventing groundwater from lifting the pullbox after installation. A strong lightweight plastic cover can be used to cover the pullbox for street traffic use.
