Abstract: A cookware article has a handle that has an externally visible embedded medallion with a contrasting appearance to the bulk of the handle. The handle is preferably stainless steel while contrasting medallion is preferably cooper, and may be embedded in the a cavity formed in the handle by an impact bonding process that spreads it laterally to bind with the cavity wall, as well as imprint a trademark or other indicia in to it. The medallion can be used to indicate that the cookware vessel itself has a cooper core to distinguish it from the similar cookware without such external indicia on the handle.

Abstract: A waste collection system has an outer shell arranged at least partly underground. A waste container (6) is inserted partly into the outer shell, and has a frame mainly above the ground (8), and a top container (9) mainly above the ground and inside the frame. A bottom container is arranged mainly underground inside the outer shell. The waste container has a cover which opens to emptying the container and one or more filling openings arranged on the cover for introducing waste into the waste container. Lifting means are arranged on the frame, and are engaged by a lifting mechanism (20) so the waste container can be lifted out from the outer shell and emptied and returned. The frame has protrusion(s) (18, 19) toward the inside of the frame and the top container has corresponding recesses (21, 22) which attach the top container to the frame.

At least one latch is provided at each of the front side, left side, and right side of the container body to secure the lid to the container body. The seal structure generally surrounds the upwardly facing opening and is compressed when the lid is latched in the closed position by the latches. The container body may also include a plurality of compartments each with upper edges defining an upwardly facing opening. Abstract: A carrier includes main body, a conductive elastic element, and a handle. The main body is adapted to carrying an electronic device and has a cavity. The conductive elastic element is disposed in the cavity. The handle is pivotally coupled to the main body. When the handle locks the main body to be located in a lock position, the handle exerts force on the conductive elastic element such that the conductive elastic element protrudes outside the main body through the cavity. When the handle does not lock the main body and exert force on the conductive elastic element to be located at a release position, the conductive elastic element is located inside the main body where it does not interfere with an outside device. This allows convenient insertion and removal of the carrier relative to a cage. Accordingly, the conductive elastic element is not damaged easily.

The gripper comprises a retainer to partially pass through the case opening, and the retainer defines two opposing slots. There is a retractable strap having two flanged ends. Each strap flanged end is passed through the retainer slots to communicate with the case inside. The strap flange is shaped to prevent the strap from completely passing through said retainer slots to the case outside when the strap is pulled. The gripper facilitates carrying a portable electronic device using a single finger, or an open hand, depending on the size of the device.

Abstract: The present invention is an article of manufacture for cooking. Specifically, it is a pan and frame system such that one frame may be used interchangeably with a variety of pans for cooking, thus allowing the user flexibility in use. The invention cooks a range of foods, and allows one such varied options as stir frying or making toast over a heat source. Abstract: A vented transfer container for household and yard waste is provided that includes ventilation openings to prevent the formation of a vacuum between contents and container upon transfer of contents to a collection bag. An alternative embodiment comprises an internal drain cup that closes the vents in the upright position and collects drainage from the waste, seals in odors and keeps out insects while gravity and vacuum cause the internal drain cup to open the vent openings when the container is inverted for transfer of waste. Abstract: An advanced transitional cup (ATC) for training developing children and developmentally-challenged individuals to drink from a cup. The ATC includes a lid with a small fluid aperture and an electric air valve. A microcontroller located in the base of the ATC converts a user-defined “flow rate” into a PWM voltage signal that successively opens and closes the air valve. A higher flow rate results in a PWM signal that opens the air valve for longer spans of time and closes the air valve for shorter spans of time as compared to a lower flow rate, thereby allowing more air to enter the ATC and fluid to be expressed from the fluid aperture more readily. A touch sensor on the sidewall of the ATC prevents the air valve from being opened, and thus fluid from exiting the fluid aperture, unless a drinker is touching the touch sensor, thereby preventing accidental spills.
