The hinge comprises a hinge cap to enclose a portion of the first hinge plate and the second hinge plate that are movable coupled.

Abstract: The embodiments described herein relate to methods, systems, and structures for cutting a part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface thereon. In some embodiments, the part includes substantially horizontal and vertical surfaces with edges and corners. In described embodiments, a diamond cutter is used to cut a surface of the part during a milling operation where the diamond cutter contacts the part a number of times with each rotation of the spindle of a milling machine. The diamond cutter has a cutting edge and a land. The cutting edge cuts the surface of the part and the land burnishes the surface of the part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface. Thus, the diamond cutter cuts and burnishes portions of the part, thereby eliminating a subsequent polishing step.

A rear cover is connected to the rear part and a front cover is connected to the front part. The front cover has a front decoration plate, a connection member and a locking member. The lid can be adjusted from the closure position in the direction of an open position when the actuating part is in the actuating position. The actuating part here is connected to the main part via at least one flexible web serving as a predetermined breaking point, the web is destroyed when the actuating part is first adjusted into the actuating position.

A traditional hinge attached to the lid and rear of box carcass provides a fixed pivot point such that a severe pinch point exists due to the leverage of the lid. The SSHA assembly would include a slide, pivot and counter weight device to reduce the weight of the lid.

The cord would be in length depending on the height of the container so as to allow being able to place the lid under the container. Abstract: A jewelry case includes a base having a bottom wall and a peripheral side wall; a top cover having a top wall and a peripheral side wall; a first retainer in a slot of a rear wall of the top cover so as not to be visible from an exterior of the case when the case is closed; a second retainer in a slot of a rear wall of the base so as not be visible from an exterior of the case when the case is closed; and a C-clip which is not visible from an exterior of the case when the case is closed and which connects together the first and second retainers to provide a combined pivoting and sliding movement of a rear edge of the top cover on the base during opening and closing of the top cover.

Abstract: A hinge is provided for hinging the top cover of an appliance to the remaining cabinet. The hinge body includes an upper end, a lower end, first and second opposite lateral edges, a front face, and a rear face. The hinge body includes one or more appendages protruding outwardly from the front face of the hinge body. The hinge body also includes a hook formed therein and protruding upwardly from the upper edge of the hinge body. The hook is adapted to fit within a hook-receiving opening in the top cover and the appendages of the hinge body are adapted to fit within openings in the cabinet.
