The funnel may be supported upon the funnel support. The funnel has a large opening located in proximity to the funnel top, a small opening located in proximity to the funnel bottom, and a cap for sealing its small opening. In use, the holster and stand are positioned above a paint tray. The user seals the small opening of the funnel with the cap and attaches the large opening of the funnel to the top of an open can of paint. The can of paint and the attached funnel are then inverted and positioned within the holster. The user begins the flow of paint by removing the cap from the funnel.

Abstract: Provided is a pouring attachment for a paint container. The container has a peripheral side wall extending upwardly to an upper peripheral annular rim which defines a container opening. The attachment comprises an annular attachment body having an inner surface and an outer surface and a bottom edge portion sealingly engageable with the annular rim. The attachment body is funnel shaped, extending upwardly and outwardly from the bottom portion to an upper edge of the body. Releasable clip members pivotally secured to the inner surface of the attachment body can be used to releasably lock the bottom portion of the attachment body to the rim in a sealing manner, thereby allowing the liquid to be poured out via said attachment. The clip members secure the attachment to the rim with sufficient strength so as to prevent inadvertent/accidental detachment of the attachment.

Abstract: The invention discloses a no spill container where the user can properly position the dispensing port and release the contents of the container by means of a release assembly integral with the cap of a displacement port. The contents are released when the cap of the displacement port is rotated into an open position and the integral release stem lifts the sealing means that is adjoined to the stem on the opposite end at the dispensing port. The lifting of the stem causes the sealing means at the dispensing port to disengage from the dispensing port allowing the contents of the container to be expelled.

A plastic closure assembly has an integrally molded sealing channel having an axially extending inner wall and a peripheral interlocking outer wall. The closure assembly is secured to the neck construction with the spout inner wall guided within the neck opening and the spout outer wall axially forced between the outer surface of the upstanding neck and the inner diameter of the surrounding collar whereupon the sealing channel outer wall is interlockingly squeezed between the neck and the surrounding collar to form a liquid-tight, tamper resistant connection.

Abstract: The invention relates to a can top for drinks cans. Conventional drinks cans, which are mostly made from tinplate, have a top section with an opening and an upper can edge rolled outwards. The aim of the invention is to improve the drinking properties of said drinks cans. According to the invention, the can top possesses a fixing section with an upper edge stop and a raised stop arranged in the lower region, such that the can top can be fixed to the can edge. Furthermore a drinking section is provided which is formed in one-piece on the fixing section and thus extends in the form of a beaker over the upper edge stop of the fixing section.

Abstract: A container made from a vial-like mass produced bottle with a structurally detailed, separately molded plastic neck mounted securely thereon, and a simple method for securely mounting the plastic neck to the bottle is disclosed. The open end of the bottle has a neck with a flange forming an annular shoulder. A plastic neck insert is provided that has a threaded neck opposite a resilient sleeve. The resilient sleeve is adapted to expand to receive the flange in a snap fit type engagement. An aluminum ferrule is press fit over the resilient sleeve of the plastic neck insert to lock the plastic neck insert onto the flange. The ferrule has an upwardly directed edge that engages a downwardly directed edge of the sleeve in interference fit to lock the ferrule onto the sleeve. An elastic seal is provided between the plastic neck insert and the bottle to ensure that the connection of the two components is airtight.

Abstract: A coffee carafe with a hidden handle support. The handle support is an annular band that extends around a rim of a glass jar for the coffee carafe. An annular collar fits over the annular band, hiding the handle support from view. The annular collar includes a pour spout and an annular flange that extends against an inside surface of the rim of the glass jar. A silicon adhesive or other suitable bonding agent is used to hold the annular collar in place. The use of the annular collar provides strong support for the handle. In addition, because the bonding agent that holds the annular flange in position against the glass jar does not have to support the handle, materials other than acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastic may be used for the annular collar and the handle. For example, polypropylene may be used as the material for these two components.

The funnel 10 has an elongated neck 20 being offset from center having a threadably attached top 22 on its orifice end. The top 22 has an auxiliary attachment to the neck 20 by a ring 30 having a lead 32 connecting the top 22 thereto. A tab 24 is provided on the neck 20 to which the top 22 can be attached when not in use. The base of the funnel 10 has a lip member 26 thereon having a contoured downwardly extending protrusion 40 thereon for mating with the locking groove 42 of the paint can top. An alternative funnel 10 is disclosed having a centrally positioned, shortened neck 44.

The fitment and cap are provided to a packager as a subassembly separate from the container. The container is rapidly filled with product through the relatively large opening in the container neck, and the cap/fitment subassembly is then snapped into the container neck to complete the package assembly.

It has a horizontally oriented annular neck portion designed to removably snap fit into the top end opening of a paint can. It's left and right sides each have a vertical recess in their outer surface for capturing a wire bail handle of a paint can when it raised to a vertical position. A paint brush wiper portion is connected to the top edge of the annular neck portion adjacent the rear end of the upper wall portion. An auxiliary handle is detachably secured to the metal wire bail handle of a paint can. The auxiliary handle has a strip of hook or loop fastening material secured to its front or rear surface that matably receives a strip of hook or loop material that would be attached to the handle of a paint brush.

A hollow cap is disposed over the seat member. The cap has a slot for outward extension of the operating lever from the closure member, and an upwardly projecting central boss. The central boss has a flat top face that is substantially flush with a part of the operating lever when the operating lever closes the pouring opening.

The lid member is usable with a system for dispensing the paint component from its original container into a paint receptacle according to a paint formula to form a liquid paint mixture. The lid member includes a base portion that is adapted to releasably engage an open top of the paint component container. The base portion has a pour spout through which the paint component can be dispensed and a movable cover element. Abstract: A flexible caulk tube nozzle that includes a tapered nozzle end portion, an accordion flexible section, a caulk tube attachment portion, and a number of angled caulk tube gripping structures. The tapered nozzle end portion, the accordion flexible section, and the caulk tube attachment portion are integrally formed to define an internal caulk passageway through the tapered nozzle end portion, the accordion flexible section and the caulk tube attachment portion. The caulk tube attachment portion defines a caulk tube insertion opening in connection with the internal caulk passageway. Each of the plurality of angled caulk tube gripping structures has a bevel edged internal caulk tube engaging portion that extends into the internal caulk passageway adjacent to the caulk tube insertion opening in a manner such that as the flexible caulk tube nozzle is screwed onto a caulk tube, the bevel edged internal caulk tube engaging portions each cut into and engage the caulk tube.

Abstract: A storage can for ready-to-use liquid consumer products, such as paint, enamel and liquid resins. The storage can includes a cylindrical body forming a side wall, a bottom wall and a lid member attached to an open end of the body. A pour spout is formed in the side wall and extends outwardly therefrom a distance no greater than the distance at which perpendicular tangents to the can body intersect. The spout extends upwardly from the body to the point at which the lid member lies and preferably includes a filter member therein. The open end of the body presents a flat, annular rim from which a first gripping member extends with a second gripping member formed around the outer circumference of the lid to mate with the first gripping member and secure the lid to the open end. The lid member preferably includes a spout lid portion hingeably attached thereto to selectively open and close only the spout opening.

Abstract: A depilatory wax applicator head (1) is provided. The applicator head is detachably engageable with a receptacle (7) for containing wax. The receptacle has an open end having a neck portion (6) with a non-cylindrical, elongated cross-section and extending along a longitudinal axis of the receptacle (7). A neck portion (6') may be provided by an intermediate part (12) detachably connected to the open end of the receptacle (7). The applicator head (1) is engageable with the neck portion (6, 6') along the longitudinal axis. The applicator head has an internal passageway and opposed ends of elongated cross-section. One of the ends includes a narrow outlet slot (10) and a spatula (11), and the other end has a mouth engageable with the neck portion (6, 6') of the receptacle (7). The mouth portion of the applicator head includes rigid peripherally spaced tongues (8) positioned on the inner wall of the passageway for clamping the applicator head (1) to the neck portion (6, 6') of the receptacle (7).
