Abstract: A compass for attachment to a hat, particularly a brim of a hat. The compass includes a housing, an attachment-clip, at least one direction-sensor, a controller, a display-screen and a power-supply. In a preferred embodiment, the power-supply is a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. The compass is useful for attaching to the hat to allow hands-free use of the compass.

Abstract: A multi-tool holder is disclosed including an elongated planar member with a track configured to receive a multi-tool and tool clip. The tool clip is coupled with the elongated planar member and includes one or more prongs that reversibly mate with a port of the multi-tool, wherein the multi-tool includes a mechanism configured to release the multi-tool from the tool clip in response to movement of the mechanism in a first direction.

Abstract: A wearable electronic device is provided, including a main body, a flexible member, a connecting member, and a first hinge. The connecting member is connected to the flexible member and has a hook portion. The first hinge is disposed on the main body and detachably engaged with the hook portion, such that the connecting member is pivotally connected to the main body.

Abstract: A survival wristwatch includes a timepiece and a wristband that include integrated survival kit features for assisting a user with various survival tasks. The wristband includes a cord, or paracord, winding or braiding around a strap. The strap is uniquely designed to integrate with the cord and provide adjustability of the wristband.

Abstract: An injection molded mounting plate with removably attached suction cups, lower connector, and retention strap which securely hold an electronic device within a mounting system for action video recording. The mounting plate is preferably an injection-molded part with multiple suction cup slots to allow suction cups to be inserted therein for securing the electronic device in a horizontal position with an elastic retention strap securing mechanism to wrap around the mounting plate and the electronic device. An elastic strap extends from an upending portion of the mounting plate, extends through a slot in the mounting plate, wraps around the electronic device, and fastens back upon itself via hook and loop fasteners to capture the device. The design of the mounting plate and preferred length of the retention strap fit “most” smartphone designs. This universal mount can be affixed to a stationary object, or wearable in nature.

Abstract: An armband that holds an electronic device is presented. The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The armband also includes an arm strap wherein the proximate end of the arm strap is coupled to the pouch, and wherein the arm strap includes: holes arranged in a specified pattern; loop cells at specified locations along the length of the arm strap; and a hook cell located at a distal end of the arm strap. The armband further includes a ring coupled to the pouch configured to allow the distal end of the arm strap to be passed through the ring and pulled toward the proximate end of the arm strap so that the hook cell can be coupled to one or more loop cells.

Abstract: A wearable device comprises a body portion, a strap portion coupled with the body portion, the strap portion provided to allow the body portion to be worn on a human body, and a connection module provided in a portion of the strap portion and a portion of the body to couple the strap portion with the body portion. The connection module comprises a connection pin portion provided in the strap portion to detachably couple the strap portion with the body portion and a holder portion provided in an end of the strap portion, the connection pin portion inserted in the holder portion.

Abstract: A case for a timepiece, of the wristwatch type, comprises a middle, a back and attachment members for attachment to a bracelet. The back is attached to the middle to pivot between open and closed positions, to use the timepiece as a table clock when it is in the open position. A first attachment member allows the attachment of a chain to use the timepiece as a pocket watch, and a second attachment member comprises at least one recess arranged so that one bracelet end can be inserted therein, in the open position of the back, and locked by the back when it is closed. The invention also relates to the corresponding timepiece and to an assembly comprising such a timepiece associated with adapted bracelet and chain. Advantageously, the transition from any configuration of the timepiece to another configuration can be carried out without using a tool.

Abstract: An electronic device holder having a retention member for retaining an electronic device, such as an MP3 player, preferably an Apple® IPod nano having a multi-touch color screen, and a strap or shank attached to the retention member to allow fastening to an object, such as a user's wrist or a chain, is disclosed. The device may be secured by friction fitting into a recessed area having two ridges to engage the device along two edges. The device may be inserted by sliding or snap fitting into the recessed area. An opening along the back of the recessed area allows the device to be pushed laterally or vertically from the retention member. Alternatively, the retention member may be a two-piece frame which partially encloses the device. The frame pieces affix to either a wristband strap or a carabiner clip shank as they are secured to one another.

Abstract: A holder for holding an electronic device on a wrist includes a band which can be connected around the wrist and a case connected to the band for holding the electronic device securely. The case includes a first receptacle and at least one second receptacle. The first receptacle is used for securing the electronic device to the holder. The at least one second receptacle receives at least one accessory of the electronic device.

Abstract: The invention herein relates to a removable cover piece for belt buckle which is devised in two parts: a buckle head and a cover piece where the buckle head has a recessed trap precisely dimensioned to receive the cover piece. A nail grip is devised at the open end of the recessed trap so that the multi-functional cover piece inlayed in the trap can easily be gripped, removed or replaced with another cover piece. Upon the recessed trap contact faces are several magnet elements to meet the opposing magnet elements on the cover piece in order to secure the cover piece into the recessed trap. The present invention also features two slide guides at the base of recessed trap contact faces in response to the slide edges on the base of the cover pieces to form a track fitting assembly relationship, further securing the multi-functional cover pieces.

Abstract: Strap 9 and case 1 assembly destined to be worn on the wrist with the strap 9 being fixed in a removable manner at its respective ends 10 linking up with connecting portions of the case 1. At least one of the connecting portions includes a hole 8 designed to receive a fastening part 16 of a decorative item 14, the corresponding end 10 of the strap 9 projecting into the hole 8 to lock the said decorative item 14 in place.

Abstract: A strap attachment for a wristwatch has first and second ends adapted to encircle the wrist of a wearer having a first strap end with a wide strap section and a connecting narrow strap section, and a number of adjustment holes along the wide strap section, and a second strap end terminating in an integral buckle frame with a rectangular frame opening and having a short inclined tang for cooperating with a selected adjustment hole, the strap section with the buckle end having a transverse slot spaced from the buckle frame for receiving the narrow strap section. The buckle frame includes a hard high strength plastic insert overmolded by soft flexible plastic strap material. In a modification, the strap attachment to the watch case comprises an integral central strap section in which an overmolded soft plastic material partially encases a rigid plastic watch case, the latter then being assembled with the movement and sealed from the front side.

Abstract: A pitch-mark repair tool used for repairing pitch-marks made on greens when playing golf is provided with a timing device which allows specific time periods applicable to a game of golf, such as the five-minute rule, to be measured objectively and simply with the specific advantage of being a non-disturbing yet readily usable piece of equipment which is required in general to be carried by all golfers. The repair tool timing device has operating buttons which are on the pitch-mark repair tool and which can be recessed and of such a size and shape that unintentional activation of the timing device is prevented when using the tool purely to repair a pitch-mark.

Abstract: An improved mounting assembly for mounting gauges and devices to a divers forearm. The assembly is comprised of a flexible material with provisions for rigid components to be placed therein. Rigid components provide structural integrity and secure gauges and devices. Gauges and devices may be easily removed, inserted, or exchanged while the unit is not being worn. When worn, the device may not be manipulated in such a manner as to allow gauges and devices to be easily moved. A compass holder (38) and a depth gauge holder (36) are sized to fit a variety of gauges commonly available. A rigid ring (62) with an inside diameter sized to fit specific models of gauges prevents gauges from rotating and popping out of device. Large overhangs comprised of flexible material hold devices conforming to the shape of a typical watch and diver's thermometer. A writing tablet and pencil may be secured to the inside arm of the device and are held in place by means of overhangs (40), friction, and compression.

Abstract: A combination watch/waist belt capable of use with interchangeable faceplates, each containing a housing and watch, and having a watch releasable and removable from its housing (case) yet attached thereto wherein the watch housing is readily detachable from an adjacent pair of buckle members attached to front portions of the waist belt in a quickly releasable manner. The wearer removes the watch from its housing by depressing a retainer to observe the time when desired. The watch is connected to its housing by a retainer cord or chain, which is inserted into a rear space in the watch housing upon placement of the watch back into its housing. The watch is retained, viz., held in position, by a clip in the upper central portion of its housing and a locator member in a recess in the bottom central portion of the housing. The watch is mounted on the central portion of the belt at the front of the wearer's waist.

Abstract: A combination watch/waist belt capable of use with interchangeable faceplates and watches having an upside down, flip-up watch face spring hinged in its watch housing for the wearer's release to a time determining position at the wearer's will wherein the watch face can be read right side up by merely a downward glance by the wearer while the watch face is hingedly retained in a position normal to viz., approximatley 90.degree. to, that of its housing. The watch is mounted on the central portion of the belt at the front of the wearer's waist. A quick release device located adjacent the watch housing, permits easy disengagement of a given faceplate and replacement with another thus offering the fashion conscious wearer a variety of belt/watch ensembles for fashion coordination. The present watch/waist belt can be worn by both sexes.

Abstract: A timepiece that may be associated with a billfold in which the incorporation of the timepiece into the billfold does not significantly affect either the configuration or usage of the billfold.A battery-powered digital watch includes a printed circuitboard that is oversized to provide a flange that extends beyond the periphery of the watch cover. The wallet into which the timepiece is to be incorporated includes a cutout in its cover or a pocket sized to receive the cover member of the watch to permit viewing of the digital display, but to prevent the flange from passing therethrough. The timepiece is secured in place by an adhesive-bearing web overlying the backsides of both the flange and the wallet member through which the watch is viewed. Alternatively, or additionally, adhesive may be applied to the frontside of the flange that interfaces with the backside of the wallet member.
