Abstract: The multi-purpose convertible carrier is a briefcase-styled housing inclusive of an adjustable strap, which supports said housing against an end user's torso or a car seat back. The housing opens to form a supporting surface upon which a laptop or tablet computer rests in perpendicular orientation with respect to the torso or car seat back. The adjustable strap extends around an end user's neck or a car seat head rest to support the housing thereon.

Abstract: A carry bag may include a container portion and a strap portion. The container portion defines an interior compartment for containing objects, and the strap portion extends from the container portion. At least one of the container portion and the strap portion include (a) a base element formed from a two-dimensional material and (b) a strand formed from a one-dimensional material. The strand lies adjacent to and substantially parallel to a surface of the base element for a distance of at least five centimeters.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for storing and transporting electronic devices. A housing includes a base, opposing sides, a movable cover, and an open lower end. The base has a cutout portion at the lower end. The movable cover is generally coextensive with and parallel to the base, and is resiliently biased into a normally closed position. The cover includes an access aperture at the lower end. Stop means are also provided at the lower end, partially blocking the opening and preventing a stored device from falling out of the housing's lower end. The cutout portion and the aperture allow entry of the user's hand into the housing for either insertion or withdrawal of the device. During either process, the user's hand causes the cover temporarily to be raised into an open position. A sling, a backpack harness, or a handle may be selectively attached to the housing for transport or storage.

Abstract: A biometric monitoring device and multiple carrying cases for same are provided. In some implementations, the case may be made from a flexible viscoelastic material and the biometric monitoring device may be slipped into a receptacle in the case through an opening in the case; the opening may become distended during the insertion of the biometric monitoring device. In some implementations, the case may feature a display window that, in combination with materials of the biometric monitoring device, may mask a display of the biometric monitoring device from view when the display is off and may allow the display to be seen when the display is displaying content.

Abstract: A skateboard carrying strap is disclosed for holding a skateboard against a user's back, wherein the strap comprises two separable sections. Each section comprises a complimentary belt buckle end and a skateboard securement end. On each securement end are extendable elastic bands, are placed around the wheel trucks of a skateboard to support the skateboard. The user wears the assembly across his or her torso, crossing over the shoulder, while the skateboard deck lies against the individual's back with the wheel trucks facing away from the body and in connection with the elastic bands. The belt buckle end comprises a belt buckle or clasp engagement adapted to rest against the user's chest, while the disconnected securement ends of each section are adapted to secure each skateboard wheel truck. When the device is not in use, the strap lengths can be connected into a continuous section for use as traditional belt.

The attachment strap comprises an elastomeric body having a head extending from the body, a first neck between the head and the body, a second neck between the first neck and head and a collar between the first neck and the second neck. The first opening is larger than the head. The second opening is smaller than the head. An aperture through the body surrounds the first neck sandwiched between the collar and the body. The second opening surrounds the second neck sandwiched between the collar and the head.

Abstract: Laminate lanyards and methods for making the same are disclosed. The laminate lanyards may include a head formed from a reinforcing loop of yarn incorporated within a scrim. The head can be coupled to the head section of a body, which also includes a main section that forms the loop of the laminate lanyard. A gusset can be coupled to ends of the main section of the body to couple the two ends of the body together and facilitate opening and closing of the loop of the laminate lanyard. A slider may also be included in laminate lanyard for adjusting the size of the loop.

The pair of hook-shaped clasps each includes a hook portion and a spring-loaded prong portion that is disposed in front of the hook portion and the containing device can be a purse.

Following general camera construction, the attachment points are found on the bottom of the cameras. In some embodiments, the couplers are slidably attached to the straps to assist with repositioning of the cameras from a transport position to a picture taking position.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying hand held electronic and other types of devices includes a flexible substrate and a lanyard secured to the substrate. The substrate has opposite first and second surfaces and opposite first and second end portions. A layer of adhesive material is applied to at least a portion of the substrate first surface, and a protective layer of material is releasably secured to the adhesive material. When the protective layer is removed, the adhesive material is exposed such that the substrate can be secured to a device via the adhesive material. The adhesive material is intended to securely attach the substrate to the device and such that removal therefrom is difficult. The lanyard allows for the substrate and an attached device to be suspended around the neck of a user.

Abstract: A coat or personal item carrier that is worn by a person is disclosed. An example of personal item carrier includes at least one elongated flexible strap, the elongated flexible strap having a first end, a second end, and a mid section, the first end and the second end each including a waist connector that is adapted for engaging the waist portion of the user's garment. A coat hook is attached to the elongated flexible strap at about the mid section of the elongated flexible strap so that the coat hook is positioned over the wearer's back when the elongated flexible strap is worn as disclosed. The coat hook or coat hooks are used to support personal items such as coats, purses, or other items that would otherwise have to be carried in the person's arms.

The first keyhole clip includes a first opening and a second opening smaller than the first opening in at least one dimension and in communication with the first opening. The attachment strap comprises an elastomeric body having a head extending from the body, a first neck between the head and the body, a second neck between the first neck and head and a collar between the first neck and the second neck. The first opening is larger than the head. The second opening is smaller than the head. An aperture through the body surrounds the first neck sandwiched between the collar and the body. The second opening surrounds the second neck sandwiched between the collar and the head.

Abstract: A rescue equipment bag and system is provided that is capable running multiple applications from a single rope while also allowing access to both ends of a rope. The rescue equipment bag comprises a primary bag and a secondary bag. The primary bag has a closed bottom and a selectively open top. The primary bag may also be provided with a single closure device for quickly opening or closing the selectively open top. The secondary bag has a closed bottom end and an open top end. The secondary bag is secured to the interior of the primary bag to form a first compartment and a second compartment. The secondary bag does not run the full depth of the primary bag. The secondary bag is provided with at least one attachment point, but preferably two or more attachment points. The rescue equipment system comprises a rescue equipment bag, rope and hardware.

Abstract: Several versions of a holder for a shoulder sling or strap are described. Preferably, the holder may be secured to or manufactured in the shoulder strap of a backpack or a garment. The holder has a generally horizontal base with at least one preferably integrally formed upstanding prong near one end of the base. Near the other end of the base, a moveable clamp is secured, and extends over the middle region of the base to engage with the upstanding prong. This way, for example, when the clamp is engaged with the prong, it extends over and cooperates to hold a rifle sling on the middle region of the base beneath the clamp.

The container may serve as an anchoring point for one or more methods of displaying the loop of flexible material. Some methods of use position the loop of flexible material over portions of a user's body. Some methods of use permit one hand operation of the apparatus.

Abstract: An archery bow carrying apparatus includes a harness configured to be worn by an archer, the harness having a connection member. A loop member fixedly attaches to the bowstring of the bow at a location offset from the nock point. The connection member is configured to be removably engaged with the loop member. During the carrying of the archery bow, the loop member and the connection member bear at least a portion of the weight of the archery bow.

Abstract: A hands-free utilitarian workstation for use with at least one portable electronic device is disclosed which allows the user to utilize the at least one portable electronic device without holding the at least one portable electronic device in the user's hands. The workstation includes a harness and a support portion attached to the harness. The harness includes adjustable sections and is adapted to fit users of varying size and build. The support portion includes an inner member and an outer member and the outer member is adapted receive the at least one portable electronic device in a secure manner and to provide support for the portable electronic device. The outer member is transitionable between a first position and a second position. The support portion may also be removably attachable to the harness and multiple support portions may be attached to the harness at the same time.

Abstract: A device aid in the retention and transportation of small oxygen bottles worn by a user during use is herein disclosed, comprising a somewhat larger and cylindrical holster to hold a type “B” oxygen canister which is approximately twelve (12) inches long and three (3) inches in diameter. The device uses a formed shoulder strap available in two different models for specific right or left hand use. The formed radius of the strap forces the strap up onto the shoulder and makes the device conform securely to the user. A retention strap that goes under the opposite arm also aids in this retention. The device can be worn while sitting, walking, standing or performing most normal activities.

Abstract: A lanyard system for retaining a wireless headset has a strap and a slide affixed at a first end of the strap. The slide engages a portion of a length of the strap and forms a loop. The slide is adjustable along the length of the strap to adjust the size of the loop. An elastomeric retainer is affixed at a second end of the strap for selective attachment to a wireless headset for removably securing the wireless headset to the lanyard system.

Abstract: The present device is a reusable bag for laundry and laundry hangers. The reusable bag includes an enclosure made from a flexible web material having an open end and a closed end. The open end has a closure means, while the closed end includes an aperture adapted to receive a portion of each laundry hanger therethrough. With the open end of the enclosure facing upward in a hamper configuration, dirty laundry may be collected and, when the bag is full, the open end of the enclosure may be selectively closed with the closure means. The reusable bag may be transported to a laundry cleaning facility by carrying with a handle strap, and returned with clean laundry hanging on the laundry hangers inside the enclosure. The closed end of the enclosure may be facing upward in a garment bag configuration for protecting the clean laundry.

Abstract: A device that assists in the holding and releasing of a cast net when thrown for fishing is herein disclosed. The device replaces the traditional practice of holding the edge of a casting net in a fisherman's mouth while throwing. The device is made of a section of synthetic cord wherein each end of the cord is attached to the outward leg of a clip mechanism, thus forming a loop configuration. The loop is then placed around the fisherman's neck with the clip mechanism hanging in a downward configuration. The cast net is then prepared to throw but instead of placing the edge of the net in the mouth, it is secured within the jaws of the clip. The net is then cast and as the net travels away from the fisherman, it pulls away from the clip resulting in a perfect cast.

Abstract: The invention as presently conceived discloses a personal garment apparatus resembling a holster-like shoulder bag that is worn over a person's shoulder having a plurality of pouches and pockets to store and transport various articles. The presently defined preferred embodiment consists of: three front pockets for a cell phone, a palm pilot, a USB key, a MP3 player, money clip, etc.; another larger zipper pocket situated behind the flap pockets to hold flat items like a checkbook, a passport, tickets, etc.; an adjustable strap to customize the shoulder fit for most people; and, a set of attachment clips allowing the invention to be reversed for wear on either shoulder. Besides being a new fashion accessory, the invention's functionalities are intended to provide easier access and increased comfort when compared to similar items being carried on a belt, about the waist or in pockets.

Each of the first and second hook shaped components are curved in opposite directions from the longitudinal axis so that a free end of the first hooked shaped component extends in an opposite direction from a free end of the second hooked shaped component.

In general, the cupped shoulder strap may be comprised of a cupped shoulder strap receiving section and a plurality of strap. The cupped shoulder receiving section may have a lateral portion and a medial portion. To form a cupped shape, the lateral portion may be affixed, in a nonparallel orientation, to the medial portion at a superior affixing point that is proximate superior ends of the lateral and medial portions. Further, the lateral portion may be affixed, in a nonparallel orientation, to the medial portion at an inferior affixing point that is proximate inferior ends of the medial and lateral portions.

The straps are separated from each other by a tear-away zone (e.g., a perforation line), and each strap includes a weakened zone (e.g., a perforation line) across the width. An adhesive is positioned on each strap to facilitate securing the lanyard into a loop or attaching the lanyard to an object holder. In one embodiment, the adhesive comprises a first adhesive patch spaced from a second adhesive patch. For example, the first adhesive patch can be positioned adjacent one end of each strap and the second adhesive patch is positioned adjacent an opposite end of each strap. Preferably, the two patches of adhesive are both on the same side of the strap. Each strap can be used to suspend an object holder, such as an identification tag, alligator clip, hook, carabiner, or cardholder.
