The method includes establishing a box structure having an inner cavity and a side portion; dividing the side portion into a lower retention portion, and upper retention portion, and a window recess portion, the dividing including: establishing a side recess panel at a location along a side panel of the box structure; establishing a front recess panel along a front panel of the box structure, the front recess panel adjacent the side recess panel, the front recess panel having a greater width than the side recess panel; and establishing the window recess portion by folding the first and front recess panels into the box structure.

Abstract: A carton for containing a product. The carton can comprise a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a first end panel, a first side panel, a second end panel, and a second side panel. At least one top flap is respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels. The at least one top flap at least partially forms a closed top end of the carton. A reclosable lid is positionable between an open position and a closed position. The reclosable lid comprises a central panel that is foldably connected to the at least one top flap. The reclosable lid can be downwardly folded relative to the at least one top flap in the closed position.

Abstract: A container for food and/or drink to be consumed on the move comprises a first portion (24) forming at least a first holder (3) for containing at least one food to be consumed on the move or for a first receptacle containing a food or a drink to be consumed on the move, and at least a second portion (25) connected to the first portion (24) and forming at least a second holder (4) for supporting a second receptacle containing at least one food or a drink to be consumed on the move. The first holder (3) and the second holder (4) are vertically aligned and they are distanced from each other in such a way as to allow the user independent access both to the first holder (3) and to the second holder (4). For that purpose, at least a third, connecting portion (28) is fixed to the first portion (24) and to the second portion (25) and forms at least one opening (29) for access from above to the lower holder. A method for making a container of this type is also claimed.

The first divider panel assembly includes an upper panel defined within the end panel and an inner panel defined within the bottom panel. The upper panel is configured to be at an angle to the bottom panel, and the inner panel is configured to be at an angle to the end panel in an erected configuration. A second divider panel assembly is defined within the bottom panel and a side panel. The second divider panel assembly includes an upper panel defined within the side panel and an inner panel is defined within the bottom panel. The panels of the second divider panel assembly are configured similarly to the panels of the first divider panel assembly in the erected configuration.

The at least one divider panel assembly includes a plurality of support slots configured to receive a portion of at least one of the containers to secure the container to the tray, to display the containers within the tray, and to enable individual access to each of the containers within the tray.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a container for non-liquid food, such as for popcorn, potato chips or french fries, and has a bottom and an upright peripheral wall which together delineate a cavity for holding the food, as well as a pocket, which is formed from parts of the peripheral wall for holding an object that accompanies the food. In order to prevent an escape of the food located in the cavity and/or a contact of the object in the pocket with the food in the cavity, the invention provides that a lower end of the pocket is formed from a movable peripheral wall part which is delineated by two fold lines diverging upwards in a V shape and a punch line or cut joining the upper ends of the fold lines at a distance from an upper edge of the peripheral wall.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging box with a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. The packaging box is made by folding one sheet, and has a main compartment space and an auxiliary compartment space separated from each other. The main compartment space accommodates articles, and the auxiliary compartment space is provided with the RFID tag. The surface of at least a portion of the auxiliary compartment space forms a portion of the surface of the packaging box. Accordingly, electromagnetic and physical interferences with the RFID tag placed inside the packaging box can be prevented even in the event the articles in the packaging box contain a silver foil or an aluminum material, or have sharp edges, thereby ensuring the stable operation of the RFID tag.

Abstract: A rectilinear folded and glued container with tiered shelves has multiple shelf panels cut out of a front panel with which the shelf panels, and main container front, side and back panels are integrally connected. The container has an internally placed shelf-raising panel that is attached to the shelf panels as part of a fold and glue processing technique that produces a knocked down flat container to be erected. The shelf raising panel preferably is an integral panel that is separate from the main container panels so as to be relatively movable, and is affixed to the shelf panels. Displacing or translating the shelf-raising panel during erection of the container from its knocked-down-flat configuration articulates the shelves into position. The shelf raising panel can be captured between top and bottom ends of the erected container, thus fixing the erected container and articulated shelves in a rigid shape.

Abstract: The carrier has a vertical support structure, a pair of foldable receptacles extending from opposite sides of said vertical support structure. The receptacles have automatically unfolding bottom walls. Each receptacle has at least one divider member extending upwardly and laterally from the upper edge of one side-wall of each receptacle to a reinforcing panel secured to said vertical support structure. The dividers and reinforcing panels are formed in a foldable blank from a single sheet of material and need no gluing to secure them to the carrier structure.

Abstract: In accordance with the invention, a method of manufacturing containers such as shipping, display and display ready packaging, for example, and resulting containers and associated preassemblies and blanks are provided, which, when utilized, result in preassemblies that are more easily and quickly assembled into fully assembled containers. According to the invention, a primary flank is affixed to an auxiliary blank using adhesive applied to a second portion section of each of the plurality of divider sections included in the primary blank, such that, as the container is assembled, pressure on the auxiliary blank separates a first portion of each of the plurality of divider sections from second portion and carries each of the plurality of divider tabs to engage with corresponding lock slots of the first and/or second divider lock.

Abstract: A carton has side panels extending upwardly from respective edges of the carton's bottom. Upright edges of the side panels are respectively connected to one another to define upright corners of the carton. At least a first opening to the carton's interior extends across a first of the upright corners. At least one partition has opposite ends that are respectively pivotably connected to the side panels that define the first upright corner, so that the partition can be pivoted between a deployed configuration and an undeployed configuration. The partition at least partially closes the first opening in the undeployed configuration. The partition extends into the carton's interior and at least partially around a compartment during the deployed configuration, whereby the partition at least partially defines the compartment during the deployed configuration. At least a second opening extends through the partition.

A bottom connected to the wall defines a containment space. A slit formation is formed in the wall, the slit formation has a lower slit and an upper slit substantially parallel to the lower slit. The slits define a loop that is displaceable into the containment space for supporting the condiment container by urging the condiment container against the wall. The lower slit defines a wall lower ledge disposed for supporting the lower lip edge of the condiment container.

Abstract: The carton has a front panel provided with a dispensing opening. Partitions extend from an inner back panel to organize the contents of the container. A shelf is formed at the bottom edge of the dispensing opening to facilitate the dispensing of the contents. A cover panel extends over the front panel and provides protection for the contents during shipping. For display and dispensing purposes, the cover panel is removed to create a suitable display container.

Abstract: A laboratory tote, formed from a single sheet of corrugated polymeric material, includes a receptacle portion defined by a bottom wall and respective end walls and sidewalls hingedly joined to opposing edges of the bottom wall. A handle extends between the sidewalls and above the receptacle to facilitate placement and removal of items into and out of the receptacle. The tote may be provided with a variety of partitions formed from separate removable components and configured to divide the receptacle into compartments of varying size, as desired.

Abstract: A container is provided with a main cavity partitioned into several compartments by dividing walls bridging the main cavity. The container and dividing walls are constructed by providing a single blank and forming the container out of the blank using folds and attachments. The compartments are adapted for holding and dispensing objects having different characteristics from each other, including different dimensions. Under the present invention, a single container allows for customized dispensing means for several types of items.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a construction for a single piece blank and a container formed therefrom. The container is convertible between a single-compartment container and a multiple-compartment container. The container is characterized by having a rear panel defining a lateral slit therein and a front panel perforated and scored to define a converting flap hinged to the front panel along a lateral fold line. The container may be converted to a multiple-compartment container by separating the converting flap from the front panel along the perforation row, folding the converting flap along the lateral fold line, positioning the convertible flap between the front panel and the rear panel to be received through the slit. Thus, an upper compartment and a lower compartment are provided, separated by the converting flap.
