Abstract: A tearing device to be applied to a complete package (1, 2) is disclosed, consisting of an adhesive label having a base layer (3) provided with an adhesive portion and a terminal portion (32, 33, 34, 32?, 33?) acting as gripping edge for imparting a manual traction, the label being so arranged as to determine at least two points of localised application of the stress, or a point of application of the stress and a point of reaction to the stress, very close to each other, upon applying a traction on said terminal portion. A weakening line or a preferred-rupture line (4, 4?) may be provided, with the base layer being made of a material having an ultimate tensile strength higher than that of the wrapping sheath and a much lower tensile elongation than that of the wrapping sheath.

Abstract: A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton comprises a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton and a dispenser comprising a dispenser panel. The dispenser panel is at least partially defined by a tear line extending in at least one panel of the plurality of panels. The dispenser panel can be at least partially removable from the carton to create a dispenser opening. The carton also can comprise a handle for grasping and carrying the carton. The handle comprises a handle feature extending in at least the dispenser panel, and at least a portion of the handle can be removable from the carton with the dispenser panel.

Abstract: A storage box includes a box body that includes a bottom wall and plural side walls including a pair of side walls that oppose each other, the box body having an opening at the top and containing an object, and a pair of lid walls that extend upward from top edges of the pair of side walls and are bent along the top edges so as to cover the opening of the box body. A pair of first lines are formed on the pair of lid walls and the pair of side walls, each first line extending at least partway from a top edge of the corresponding lid wall to a bottom edge of the corresponding side wall and facilitating outward bending of the corresponding side wall when an arm is inserted between the object contained in the box body and the corresponding side wall.

Abstract: The present application provides a dispensing carton for a number of sheet products therein. The dispensing carton may include a first wall, a dispensing aperture positioned in the first wall, a perpendicular second wall, and one or more support tabs positioned in the perpendicular second wall. The support tabs may be folded within the perpendicular second wall to support the number of sheet products therein.

Abstract: A product dispensing system including a container having multiple walls that define an internal volume, at least one of the walls including a pre-formed flex line, and a dispenser including a frame having a front end and a rear end, the frame including a stop positioned proximate the rear end and a support deck extending between the front end and the rear end, and an opening tool positioned to open the container as the container is moved along the support deck into engagement with the stop, wherein the engagement between the stop and the container effects a flexing of the container along the pre-formed flex line.

Abstract: A product dispensing system including a container defining an internal volume and an opening into the internal volume, the container including a weakening feature, the opening and the weakening feature defining an access panel, and a dispenser including a frame having longitudinally opposed first and second ends, and including a support deck and a product display area, the support deck extending at least partially between the first and second ends, the product display area being positioned below the support deck, and a catch element connected to the frame proximate the first end, the catch element protruding away from the second end such that the catch element engages the opening in the container and at least partially separates the access panel from the container as the container longitudinally moves along the support deck from the first end toward the second end.

Abstract: A disposable corrugated board dispensing container including an enclosure having a bottom wall and side walls including a front side wall for containing contents therein. The bottom wall is formed by overlapping flaps attached to each of the side walls at a fold line, and an aperture is disposed in the bottom wall. A funnel is supported by a funnel support disposed between the funnel and the bottom wall, the funnel guiding the contents of the enclosure to the aperture in the bottom wall. A slide valve controls the dispensing of the contents through the aperture, the slide valve being accessed through an access opening in the front side wall.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for dispensing products provided initially in a package. The system includes a frame and an opening tool. The frame has longitudinally opposed front and rear end sections and includes an upper support deck extending at least partially between the front and rear end sections and below which a product display area is provided. The opening tool is associated with the frame and is arranged to open the package when the package is moved longitudinally on the upper support deck and relative to the opening tool thereby allowing the products to be at least partially dispensed from the package into the product display area.

Abstract: A container storage box containing and storing a deformable container includes a plurality of rigid sidewall faces that contain and store the deformable container while preventing random deformation of the deformable container and large and small end faces of both top and bottom ends of the plurality of rigid sidewall faces. The rigid sidewall faces regulate a configuration of the deformable container in a configuration accommodated in the container loading part while maintaining at least one of direction and/or position of content outlet of the deformable container when the deformable container is placed in the image forming apparatus. At least one of the sidewall faces includes at least two fold lines not parallel with one another and at least one end face of both top and bottom end faces except the plurality of sidewall faces has a closing mechanism that is openable, closable and capable of being assembled and disassembled.

Abstract: A container including a rigid plastic pallet having a platform portion defining a central discharge port, a tubular cardboard sleeve supported at a lower edge thereof on the pallet, and a flexible plastic liner positioned within the sleeve. The liner includes an upper portion of uniform cross-sectional configuration conforming to the cross-sectional configuration of the sleeve and a lower portion of downwardly and inwardly tapering configuration terminating in a bottom liner opening positioned proximate the pallet discharge port.

Abstract: A fibrous collapsible shipping container for transporting small articles and particulate material and discharging the same under gravity through a bottom wall opening after the horizontal movement of a sliding door. The container may include a liner element to provide increased rigidity where the loaded contents are relatively heavy. In a second embodiment, the container includes a second medially positioned bottom wall and sliding door to provide incremental discharge of the contents, as desired.

Abstract: The present invention includes a blank and a container constructed from containerboard material cut and scored to form an inner and an outer housing. The outer housing includes opposing side and end walls that are hingedly attached to a plurality of bottom panels that form a container bottom. The bottom panels include a hopper bore defined therethrough. An inner housing includes an interior upper region and an interior lower region. At least a portion of the interior upper region is substantially rigidly attached to an inner surface of the outer housing. The interior lower region is configured to form a plurality of inwardly angled interior panels that are angled substantially in the direction of the hopper bore. A removable closure panel is configured to close or otherwise substantially selectively seal the hopper bore.

Abstract: There is disclosed a package including a box body having an opening and a cover member for closing the opening of the box body. The box body is formed of a packaging material of a soft sheet having a monolayer of a resin film or a multi-layer structure having a resin film. The box body includes: a rectangular bottom face portion; four side face portions folded from the four sides of the bottom face portion; corner sealing portions formed by jointing the inner faces of the side face portions at corner portions between the adjoining side face portions; flange portions folded outward of the box body from the upper ends of the side face portions substantially at a right angle thereto and with a predetermined width size; and flange jointing portions jointing the flange portions folded from the side face portions without any clearance between each other at the upper ends of the corner portions between the adjoining side face portions.

Abstract: A carton assembly for dispensing product members such as spools of wire and other rollable products having circular ends of the same diameter. The carton comprises a bottom, forward and rearward end walls, two side walls and a closable top. Within the carton each side wall has associated therewith one upper guide member, at least one intermediate guide member and a lower guide member. The guide members of one wall are mirror images of the corresponding guide members of the other side wall and are correspondingly positioned with respect to their respective side walls. The intermediate and lower guide members provide narrow sloping edges in parallel spaced relationship which maintain the product members in a row made up of zig-zag row segments, one above the other. The carton has a dispensing opening in its forward wall through which the forwardmost and lowermost product member can be extracted.
