Abstract: An elongate fastener assembly comprising a flexible polymeric backing strip from which project a multiplicity of headed stems adapted to engage loops on materials pressed against the heads, and an open porous permanent attachment layer attached to the surface of the backing strip opposite the stems which has sufficient open area to receive foam to permanently attach the fastener assembly to a foamed article. The fastener assembly has a temporary attachment layer comprising granular ferromagnetic material in a polymeric binder sandwiched between the backing strip and the permanent attachment layer which is adapted to be attracted by magnets to temporarily hold the fastener assembly in position during a foaming process, and has a heat shrinkable film cover means overlaying the heads attached to the edges of the backing strip that will shrink transversely to expose the heads upon the application of heat below 125.degree. Abstract: An improved transfer storage carton having complimentary fastening means affixed to each of the respective end flaps and to at least one of the top flaps which are folded in overlapped relationship atop the open compartment of the carton in conventional fashion to effectively close and seal the carton. In this respect, it is preferred to use complimentary fasteners of the type sold under the trademark "VELCRO" by Velcro Corp. The complimentary fasteners are fixed to and carried by clips which are generally u-shaped in configuration. These clips are extended through slots formed in the end and top flaps to secure the fasteners to the flaps. In addition, one side flap is formed to expose the complimentary fasteners secured to the end flaps when the side flap is folded to overlie the end flaps so that the complimentary fastener affixed to the other one of the side flaps automatically lockingly engage to seal shut the carton.

Abstract: A hooked fabric fastener tape has on one surface of a foundation structure a number of material engaging hooks which have been produced from and by cutting one of loops of synthetic resin threads woven into the foundation structure. One of the hooks is larger in height than the other hook so as to provide a large opening between the respective end portions thereof for easy reception of cooperating loops of mating looped fabric fastener tape. The hooks of different height are reliably engageable with any of the cooperating loops fanned apart on the looped fabric fastener tape.
Abstract: A fastener includes a pad element having number of connecting prongs having two locking ridges disposed thereon. The top locking ridges, which are disposed closest to the tip of the prongs, are smaller than the lower locking ridges, thereby facilitating easy alignment of the unisex fasteners of a mating pad. Back prongs on the pad are used for connecting the pad to a surface of an article having holes for receiving the back prongs such that the connecting prongs are positioned to face upwardly from the surface. The fastener is adapted for use in yieldably or separably anchoring a baseball base in place on a playing field ground support attachment having like-constructed fastener prongs whereby injury to a runner sliding into the base will be minimized due to yielding under a relatively low force or separating under a relatively high force of the fastener prongs upon contact thereof.
Abstract: A device for holding a plurality of golf tees. A flexible strip has an adhesive backed surface covered by a sheet protecting the adhesive until the strip is mounted to an external object. A cover strip is removably mounted to the flexible strip and is secured thereto by means of a loop and hook fabric fastener extending across the entire area of the mutually facing surfaces of the flexible strip and cover. The fabric fastener releaseably holds the flexible strip and cover strip together with a plurality of golf tees positioned therebetween.
