Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing an electronic component includes a grip unit configured to grip an electronic member having a plurality of projections arranged thereon, a connected coil assembly forming unit configured to form a connected coil assembly in which a plurality of single coils are connected to one another, and a coil mounting unit configured to sequentially mount the plurality of single coils of the connected coil assembly on the plurality of projections.
Abstract: A filament winding apparatus prevents a fiber bundle supplied to a liner from interfering with other fiber bundles and fiber supplying guides. First and second guide units include a plurality of fiber supplying guides arranged radially and extending and contracting in a direction approximately perpendicular to a liner central axis. When a fiber bundle supplied from a first supplying guide of the first guide unit crosses between a second supplying guide of the second guide unit and the liner, the distance from the second supplying guide to the liner central axis is made larger than the distance from the first supplying guide to the liner central axis, and in the reverse case, the distance from the first supplying guide to the liner central axis is made larger than the distance from the second supplying guide to the liner central axis.

Abstract: Described are methods of making a thermoplastic core paint roller using a composite cover material having a backing made from a compound comprising a polypropylene-based elastomer and calcium carbonate having between 5% and 50% calcium carbonate by weight. One or various compounds of polypropylene and calcium carbonate having between 5% and 66% calcium carbonate by weight may be used to form portions of one or multiple components that make up the paint roller, including, for example, the thermoplastic strips and/or the adhesives. The materials can be assembled in a continuous manufacturing process.
Abstract: Described are methods of making a paint roller using preformed strips or core material made from a compound of polypropylene and calcium carbonate having between 5% and 66% calcium carbonate by weight. One or various compounds may be used to form portions of one or multiple components that make up the paint roller, including, for example, the thermoplastic strips, adhesives and/or the backing of a composite cover material. Abstract: A transformer winding device, a method and a transformer are disclosed. The transformer winding winding device includes a rotary device configured to extend along an axis of rotation and configured to receive a transformer winding to be wound, at least one device configured to provide a plurality of insulation strips, and a comb-like guide device. The comb-like device is configured to deflect the plurality of insulation strips into at least one common winding plane and fed parallel to one another, at an angle to an axis of rotation, to the transformer winding to be wound. The comb-like guide device can include at least a first guide device element for a first group of insulation strips and a second guide device element for a second group of insulation strips, wherein the first and second guide device elements are offset with respect to one another in terms of axial length.

Abstract: The object of the invention is a method for building hoses reinforced with spirally laid fibers, where the hose under construction (3) undergoes both rotation and advancing motion relative to the laying head (12), and where the reinforcing fibers are unwound from drums (14). The drums (14) are rotated about two axes, the first axis being the principal axis of the drums (A) and the second axis (B) being nearly parallel with the direction in which the fibers are unwound, where the direction of rotation of the drums (14) about the second axis (B) is the same as the direction in which the hose under construction (3) is rotated.
Abstract: A layered tape guide spool having a plurality of guide rods, each of which have a first and a second guide member. The gaps between adjacent guide rods and the gaps formed between the first and second guide members define a gap that urges the tape stacks together into a desirable rectangular shape. The resulting tape stacks are then wrapped onto a tubular core or onto existing layers on a tubular core.
Abstract: A process and apparatus for depositing simultaneously by winding on a support, several rovings of pre-impregnated fibers. The rovings are deposited simultaneously by winding on a rotating support. At least two rovings are brought into superposition near where they will be applied to the support, and the various rovings are subjected to different tensions depending on their position relative to the support. Specifically, the roving nearest the support is subjected to a greater tension than a roving farther from the support. Composite structures are thus produced.
