Continuous-rail Crossing Patents (Class 246/375)
  • Patent number: 10577751
Abstract: The present invention relates to an operating and locking mechanism for diamond crossings of central rail-guided vehicles, comprising: a sliding plate (2A) fixed to a fixed part (2) of the diamond crossing forming a channel in its central area in the direction of the X axis, a guide block (10) fixed to the sliding plate (2A) comprising four guide grooves (10A, 10B, 10C, 10D) in the form of circular sectors located on the main plane of the guide block (10), the geometric center of which coincides with a theoretical pivoting point (17) of a moving panel (6) of the diamond crossing, where the sliding plate (2A) and the guide block (10) form a rectangular section groove (2F) the axis of which is parallel to the direction of the X axis, four shafts (12A, 12B, 13A, 13B) fixed to the moving panel (6) symmetrically with respect to a guide rail (7) of said moving panel (6) and perpendicular to the main plane of the moving panel (6), comprising respective rollers (12E, 12F, 13E, 13F) that can be moved and rolled res

  • Patent number: 9963833
Abstract: The invention concerns a rail crossing device designed for crossing a first rail embedded in a road surface with a guide rail, embedded in the road surface. It comprises at least one extensible portion provided in the guide rail and at least one mechanism designed for lengthwise extension and contraction of the extensible portion. This mechanism is designed to extend and contract the extensible portion in a lengthwise direction, defining a contracted position in which one end of the guide rail is separated from the first rail to allow a vehicle or any other movable device to travel along this rail, and an extended position in which said end of the guide rail is moved towards the first rail in order to guide a vehicle onto the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 8336831
Abstract: A switch or rail box for railway rails that include a system for sealing a portion of a location where the rail enters or exits the box. The sealing system includes a pair of seal plates that can be connected to an inner surface and an outer surface of the switch box, wherein the sealing plates each include a groove that conforms to and accepts a portion of a rail and in some embodiments, a rail jacket. The channel formed between the adjacent seal plates is filled with an insulating material that extends around a lower portion of the rail, thereby aiding in stray current control. Methods for sealing the switch box utilizing the sealing system are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7765936
Abstract: A transporting system with a fire door (100) is provided with: a rail (1) installed within a facility; a transporting carriage (3), whose wheel (4) is set so as to roll over a surface for rolling of the rail; a fire door plate (7) for segmenting a space within the facility in a direction intersecting the rail at a predetermined position of the rail; and a door plate moving device (8) capable of moving the fire door plate from an open position for the transporting carriage to pass through the predetermined position, to a close position for the fire door plate to segment the space. A first cut (1a) is formed obliquely with respect to a width direction of the rail when planarly seen on the surface for rolling, in the rail at the predetermined position. The fire door plate has a shape capable of passing through the first cut when being moved to the close position.
