Patent number: 7566043Abstract: An angle regulator (10) includes an outer shell (14) having a deflecting arm (146) and an inner supporting pole (15) received in the outer shell. The deflecting arm includes a main rod (1464), and a press-button (1462) and a hook (1466) respectively located at two opposite ends of the main rod. The press-button extends from the main rod and protrudes out of the outer shell. A plurality of spaced grooves (156) are defined in the inner supporting pole along an axial direction thereof. When the press-button is pressed, the hook is detached from one of the grooves that is engaged with the hook such that the inner supporting pole can slide with respect to the outer shell, and when the press-button is released, the hook is selectively engaged in another one of the grooves so that the inner supporting pole and the outer shell are fixed to each other.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2007Date of Patent: July 28, 2009Assignee: Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yen-Chih Chen

Patent number: 7550668Abstract: An electronic device includes a case (100) and a supporting member (40). The case includes a cover (10), a base (20), and a receiving member (30) received between the cover and the base. The cover includes a first bottom wall (12), and the base includes a second bottom wall (22). A receiving recess (144) is formed in the first and second bottom walls. A retaining portion (32) is formed in the receiving member, and received in the receiving recess. The retaining portion includes at least one slot (328). The supporting member is mounted to the retaining portion, and includes at least one locating portion (426) slideable in the slot. Thereby, when the electronic device is in a horizontal position, the supporting member is fully received in the receiving recess of the case; when the electronic device is in an upright position, the supporting member is perpendicular to the receiving recess of the case.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2005Date of Patent: June 23, 2009Assignee: Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventor: Wei-Hsi Chen

Patent number: 7551874Abstract: A support structure for an image processing apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus has an apparatus body, a base provided at a lower portion of the apparatus body for supporting the body, and an image processing unit disposed inside the apparatus body or attached thereto. The processing unit is capable of effecting at least either an image forming operation or an image reading operation. The support structure includes a grounding portion formed at and integrally with a bottom of the apparatus base for coming into contact with a contact-object surface such as a floor surface at at least three positions thereof thereby to support the base parallel with the contact-object surface and includes also an elastic projecting portion formed of a material having greater elasticity than a material forming the grounding portion. The elastic projecting portion has a ground-contacting face which projects from a bottom face of the grounding portion under a non-grounded condition of the support structure.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2006Date of Patent: June 23, 2009Assignee: Kyocera Mita CorporationInventor: Takeshi Marumoto

Patent number: 7533858Abstract: A furniture glide is mountable on the foot of a furniture leg. The glide is constructed around a glide base having an inner portion and foot support surface. A plurality of spring fingers positioned on the glide base have attached and distal ends. The distal ends extend in an inward direction toward the inner portion of the glide base. The distal ends also extend in an outward direction away from the foot support surface. The positioning of heads at about the distal end of each spring finger allows the spring fingers to receive an outward expansion force when the foot is moved toward the foot support surface. The spring fingers are positioned to move in an inward direction toward the inner portion of the glide base to lock the foot to the furniture glide when the foot contacts the foot support surface.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2005Date of Patent: May 19, 2009Assignee: ACP, LLCInventor: Albert E.
