The supporting surfaces may provide a plurality of spaced, raised rib portions to orient and secure the at least one metallic object thereto.

Abstract: A multiple connector electronics docking base device includes a housing structured to have a slot extending into an upper surface of the housing. A disc is rotatably coupled to the housing and partially positioned within the slot wherein a selectable portion of the disc is positionable to be exposed within the slot. Each of a plurality of base connectors is coupled to the disc. The base connectors are spaced on the disc such that a selectable one of the base connectors is positionable within the slot. A first end of a wire is coupled to the disc such that each base connector is electrically coupled to the wire. A second end of the wire is coupled to the housing such that the second end is configured for being electrically coupled to a power source.

Abstract: An overhead slatwall mounting bracket that has an anchoring surface and a biasing surface. The anchoring surface attaches the mounting bracket to a generally horizontal installation surface. The biasing surface may either define or provide one or more elongate slots. The mounting bracket is capable of securely supporting slatwall accessories that include one or more cantilever tabs. Each cantilever tab of the slatwall accessory may be inserted into one of the one or more elongate slots and thereby mount the slatwall accessory to the mounting bracket. The invention provides a means to suspend, mount or temporarily affix the tabbed slatwall accessory from an overhead or horizontal surface by insertion and subsequent rotation of the one or more cantilever tabs extending from the slatwall accessory into the one or more elongate slots.

Abstract: A safety device reversibly attachable to any hearing aid of a type having a behind the ear unit with a connecting member and an ear bud prevents the hearing aid from being lost or damaged if the unit is dislodged from behind the ear of the wearer. The device is virtually invisible so as not to draw attention to the fact that the wearer is using a hearing aid. One portion of a two part attaching strip is adhered to the behind the ear unit. The second portion can be securely and reversibly united with the first portion to attach or remove the device from the hearing aid. A transparent filament is integral with the second portion at one end and to a securing plate at the opposing end. The securing plate can receive the temple of a pair of glasses or another retaining article worn on the person of the wearer. A slit in the securing plate is opened by pressure on the side rim enabling the insertion of the retaining article which is held securely when the pressure is removed and the slit closed around it.

In one aspect, the balloon and streamer hub assembly includes a mounting block, and adhesive member a bowl shaped cover, and a securing mechanism for attachment of the bowl-shaped cover to the mounting block. The bowl-shaped has a depth that substantially corresponds to the width of the mounting block, and further includes a plurality of holes disposed around edges thereof in predetermined positions, which are adapted for attachment thereto different ones of the balloons and streamers.

The strap is placed around the object to be retained. The second portion retains the first portion in a closed position so that the object is retained securely but non-permanently. An adhesive between the platform body and the surface permanently fixes the retaining device to the surface.

In an embodiment, the flexible mounting device comprises a flexible gooseneck, a magnetic base magnetically attached to a front end of the gooseneck for holding a display, and a windshield suction attached to a back end of the gooseneck for providing windshield support from the rear by suctioning to the windshield of a vehicle. In another embodiment, the flexible mounting device comprises a flexible neck, which may be firmly attached to the dashboard of a vehicle with a sticky gel pad. The mounting device also comprises a counter weight attached to a back end of the flexible neck. The display is fixed to a front end of the flexible neck such that the display protrudes beyond the dashboard. The counter weight at the back end of the flexible neck counter balances the weight of the display at the front end, and thereby helps to provide a stable support.

The key aspects of the invention include a removable, reusable, and universal cord tie-down device that is hidden when the window covering is lowered and is neat in appearance and relatively unobtrusive when the covering is raised; that can be mounted directly on a glass window pane without the need for tools; and that effectively secures the window cord.

Abstract: A picture hanger is initially held in place on a wall in a temporary manner without damaging the wall by including a backing with a shock absorbing layer overlaid by a temporary adhesive film. Prior to the picture hanger being temporarily fastened to the wall, the temporary adhesive film is covered by a protective paper sheet. The shock absorbing layer prevents the wall from being indented when the hanger is permanently secured to the wall by hammering a pin or nail through the layer and film. The layer is sufficiently soft to hold the nail in place when the nail impales the layer prior to hammering the nail into the wall. Prior to the backing being secured to the hanger, the permanent adhesive film is overlaid by another removable protective sheet. Initially the backings are located on an elongated strip and are punched from the strip for mounting on the hook body.
