Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to an adjustable bracket assembly for mounting to a vehicle. The bracket assembly comprises an integral planar attachment portion, at least one integral mounting portion separate from the planar attachment portion, at least one integral locking portion separate from the attachment portion and at least one integral keeper. The integral planar attachment portion includes a reception portion, wherein at least one of the planar attachment portion and reception portion include at least one slot. The at least one integral attachment mounting portion includes an engaging portion and a mating portion that engages the reception portion, wherein at least the engaging portion is substantially parallel to the planar attachment portion when engaged. The engaging portion includes a receiving portion having diameter “drc” and a radius portion in fluid communication with the receiving portion, the radius portion having diameter “drd”, wherein drc>drd.

Abstract: A curtain hanging device that works as usual when the curtain is used without problems and that can prevent an accident from happening when the curtain is accidentally tangled around the neck of a person is disclosed. Curtain Hanging Device 1 of the invention comprises Coupler 2 for suspending Curtain A from a curtain rail, wherein Coupler 2 has a catch for hanging from the rail, or Coupler 2 itself forms the catch, and wherein the catch deforms to release Curtain A from the rail when an extra load is applied to Curtain A.

Abstract: A fastening element for attaching a part such as a cooking hob to a supporting element, such as a frame supporting/surrounding the cooking hob, can include a spring secured to the supporting element. In one implementation, the fastening element can be secured by engaging a locking element of the spring into a first recess in the supporting element. In the mounted state, the spring has at its free end a gripping portion for holding the part, and the spring being embodied, as an element which is bent in a leaf-shaped manner. For ease in mounting the spring, the spring can have at the other end a width-reduced end that can penetrate a second slit-shaped recess in the supporting element. The width-reduced end and the slit-shaped recess are narrower than the region of the spring that is bent in a leaf-shaped manner.

Abstract: A novel device for hanging a stroller on a door or wall particularly in apartments. The invention includes a hanging bracket which fits over a door at its upper end having two hanging tubes mounted thereto extending downwardly along its length. The hanging tubes are mounted within integral cylindrical retainers on the hanging bracket by strategic placement of a pin. The orientation of the hanging tubes is modifiable by adjusting the positioning of the pin on a series of notches in the upper surface of the tube retainer so that the hanging tubes may be swiveled out of the way when not in use.

Abstract: Disclosed is a short throw projector mount having a wall plate (12) having an arcuate front surface (26) and a projector arm (14). The projector arm (14) has a pair of hooks (52) which engage the wall plate. The arm (14) is formed of a parabolic web of material which has decreasing height from the hooks to the distal end where a projector is typically mounted.

Abstract: A ridge clip is disclosed that is useful for attaching lights or other decorations to the ridge of a roof without compromising the seal on ridge shingles. The ridge clip includes a shingle hook that affixes to the overhanging portion of a shingle, and an extension arm that extends long enough to mount the decoration on the roof ridge. Ridge clips may be provided as an adapter for existing shingle tabs, or as stand-alone devices.

Abstract: Units or hook assemblies arranged and configured to adequately capture and hold personal items which have some type of handle, rope, strap or the like. Preferred embodiments include a mounting plate for attachment to a restroom stall wall, door or the like. The mounting plate includes an upper end and a lower end. Preferred embodiments further include a first and second hook elements extending outwardly from the mounting plate. Preferred embodiments are arranged and configured to hinder theft or personal items stored on the hook from an over the stall door or wall attempt.

Abstract: Provided is a decorative item adapted to be suspended from a dwelling closure, including a hanger bracket that has an upper hook portion for placement over a top of the dwelling closure, a lower support portion, and an elongate suspension arm extending therebetween. A decoration is supported by the lower support portion and a self-contained power supply is mounted to the upper hook portion for providing power to the decoration.

Abstract: A protective hanger apparatus for use with fence posts includes an elongated substantially rectangular flexible main body, wherein the main body defines or engages with a top loop having dimensions enabling it to fit over the top of and be supported from a fence post. The main body further includes least two lateral rectangular apertures in this main body having a predetermined height and width such as to be removably engageable with at least one included item hanger.

Abstract: Retention devices and methods are disclosed that are mounted to the surface of a wall structure such as a wall surface or surfaces or a framing construction. The retention devices and methods may be used or performed in combination with one or more retaining elements, such as storage elements or fastener elements, such as traditional peg board hooks, pegs or hangers and even with other traditional fasteners such as screws, bolts, and nails. The invention comprises in some embodiments retention devices and methods, alone or in combination with or performed with the retaining elements, and retains materials, tools, and other implements. The invention in some embodiments may comprise a retention device having a plurality of perforations, and in some embodiments perforations configured the extent of a rail or panel. In some preferred embodiments, perforations are configured a minimum of two rows and equally spaced.

Abstract: A door hook includes a top member, a back member, a front member, a hook and a leg. The back member is attached to the first end of the top member and the front member is attached to the opposite end of the top member. The leg and hook are also attached to the front member. The leg extends below the hook. A resilient foot is attached to the leg such that the resilient foot is below the hook. The front member is configured to flex into a generally convex shape after a downward force acts on the hook and the resilient foot is configured to flex after the downward force is exerted on the hook.

Abstract: A portable and hangable gear holding unit includes a main portion and a number of positionable gear holding members. Each gear holding member, which may include a hook, extended or orthogonal tab, clip, and or equivalents, is structured for engaging and holding at least one piece of gear above a ground surface. The hangable gear holding unit may be portable, and transported to a location for hanging upon a support structure, such as a partition or chain link fence, for subsequent use in holding gear.

Abstract: A two piece plastic paint can hook has a transverse bracket with an integral downward pointing bucket hook. A channel in the transverse bracket accepts a tip of a plastic rung hook. The rung hook is assembled through the channel, thus setting a stem of the rung hook in a pivoting mount in the transverse channel. The devise is suited to hang a paint can from either the left or the right side of a ladder rung.

Abstract: A guitar hanger for hanging a guitar having a neck and head on a closet rod. The hanger includes a first member in the form of a shaft having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end configured into a first hook sized to receive the closet rod and a distal end configured on a second hook for engaging a second member. The second member is in the form of U-shaped yoke section sized to receive a guitar neck between legs of the U-shaped yoke section but not a guitar head. The second member also includes a transitional section having a body and a keyed slot configured within the body sized and shaped such that the keyed slot will removably receive the second hook in a first orientation and will secure the transitional section to the second hook in a second orientation such that the second member is removable from the first member only in the first orientation.

Abstract: A hook is provided for simultaneously supporting a shower curtain and a shower curtain liner in side by side spaced, parallel relation on a shower curtain rod. The shower curtain and the shower curtain liner each have an opening therein proximate the top edge thereof. The hook includes a portion for engaging the rod. First and second spaced support portions, each of which is connected to the rod engaging portion, are provided. Each of the support portions includes a generally “U” shaped portion defined in part by an upstanding member. The upstanding member of the first support portion is adapted to be received through the opening in the shower curtain to retain the shower curtain. The upstanding member of the second support portion is adapted to be received through the opening in the shower curtain liner to retain the shower curtain liner. The hook is fabricated from a single continuous wire section by making a series of bends therein.

The adjustable hanging mechanism for mounting the main body on the wall comprises: at least one cantilever bar and an elastic member. The cantilever bar has a first rod, a second rod, a third rod and an elastic member. The first rod has a rotation axis for the cantilever bar to rotate on the main body, and the second rod is coupled to the first rod. The third rod coupled to the second rod is substantially parallel to the first rod. The elastic member is coupled to the first rod. When the cantilever bar rotates relatively to the main body with a rotation angle ?, the third rod is firmly against the wall.

Generally, the apparatus contains a holding portion that is fabricated so as to allow the apparatus to hold to the structure. The apparatus also contains a hook that is capable of allowing the object to be set thereon, and a central loop that is capable of allowing a second object to be situated therein.

A hanger of unitary molded construction is capable of suspending from a horizontal support a clay target of the type cast by trap or skeet shooting equipment.

A plurality of links are pivotally linked to each other in series to form a chain having a first link and a last link. A pivot pin pivotally connects the base and the first link of the plurality of links. The plurality of links are adapted for pivot between a stored configuration in which the plurality of links are positioned generally adjacent the perimeter of the base, and an operative configuration in which the plurality of links form a hook adapted for hanging the purse.

Abstract: A bedside flashlight cradle for supporting a flashlight from the side of a bed frame for ready access. The cradle includes a grasper end for connection to the bed frame, a middle section, and a cradle. The grasper end may attach to the bed frame without fastener, for example, by sliding over the vertical side wall of the bed frame. The middle section may cant backward in order to support the flashlight flush with the edge of the bed frame. The cradle may be provided in spaced apart pairs to support the flash light or in other configurations such as an integral unit that has sufficient width to support a flashlight or an integral unit that has a single grasper end of sufficient width with a pair of spaced-apart cradles.

Abstract: An end of a curtain rod is provided with a hook for grasping a mounting tube extending transversely from a wall-mounted flange. The hook may be offset from the longitudinal axis of the curtain rod to permit two rods with similar offset hooks to the mounted end to end, in axial alignment, on a common mounting tube. Alternatively, one rod may be provided with a centrally mounted hook and the other rod with a claw having spaced hooks for receiving the single centrally mounted hook of an axially aligned rod therebetween. Each hook and claw may be mounted on a connector which can be fitted over the end of a segment of a tubular curtain rod, with or without an adapter, depending upon whether the segment is an inner segment or outer segment of a telescoping curtain rod.

The device generally includes a base, a support arm rotatably mounted to the base, a connecting arm connected to the support arm, and a retaining arm rotatably connected to the connecting arm and mounted for rotation between an open position and a closed position to secure the limb of the bow. The support arm acts as a lever arm wherein the weight of the bow causes the connecting arm to move and the retaining arm to rotate from an open position to a closed position to secure the limb of the bow.

Abstract: An apparatus including a J-shaped hanger and a first device is provided. The J-shaped hanger may include a hook and a base, the hook connected to the base, the base forming a substantially flat vertical portion of the J-shape, the hook forming the hook portion. The first device may have a first portion having an opening which is large enough so that the base can pass through the opening of the first portion while the base is substantially parallel to the first device. The first device has a front with a first temporary or removable adhesive and a back with a second temporary or removable adhesive. The apparatus can be used for hanging a picture frame.

A second rectangular tray is selectively connected to the first rectangular support. The second tray has a planar upper surface for providing a writing surface thereon. The tray is aligned relative to the rectangular structure and slidably maintained on the rectangular structure by means of a pair of parallel brackets extending from the lower surface of the tray.

Abstract: A storage apparatus for use with outdoor observation stands is disclosed. The apparatus provides stable and practical support for placing, holding, storing and providing convenient access to food, drink, gear and supplies useful or necessary to hunters or observers utilizing a tree-mounted observation stand. The invention includes a retractable framework which incorporates a flexible panel having geometrically specific compartments for holding a variety of objects. The design of the invention allows the apparatus to securely store and hold heavy objects such as binoculars, ammunition, food and beverages and provides accessibility to such objects with minimal bodily movement.

Abstract: A wall mounting monitor bracket comprises a sliding base means, at least a movable arm means, and at least a connection means. The movable arm means is hung on the sliding base means via one end, and connected to the connection means via the other end. The other end of the connection means is attached to a first monitor. By adjusting the movable arm means and the connection means, the first monitor can be firmly and easily adjusted to different angles.

Abstract: A joist support structure that is designed to be embedded in a foundation wall. The joist support structure includes an elongated metal V-shaped base that includes a pair of spaced apart legs that extend upwardly from a vertex. Each leg of the V-shaped base includes an upper end portion. Secured to the upper end portion of each leg is a generally U-shaped joist support that comprises a bottom and a pair of spaced apart sides. When the joist support structure is embedded in a concrete block or poured foundation wall, a joist can be seated in the joist supports and supported by the joist support structure, which is in turn supported by the foundation wall.

An eyelet is connected to a first surface of the first region, the eyelet being enclosed by a top portion of the eyelet, a bottom portion of the eyelet, a front portion of the eyelet, and a back portion of the eyelet. A body portion is connected to a second end of the first region, the body portion extending away from the flat panel. The apparatus also contains a hook portion that is connected to the body portion.

Abstract: A device for easily attaching telescoping or non-telescoping horizontal drapery support crossbars to theatrical lighting truss. A hollow tube with receiving slots cut into it is attached to a hook shaped hanger that provides a means of attaching the assembly to the pipe of a theatrical lighting truss. The hook shaped hanger has a bend in it at the opposite end from the hook to help prevent the assembly from coming off the truss. Receiving slots are provided along the sides of the hollow tube to allow the drape support crossbar to be hung from the assembly by its hook.

Abstract: A rebar support bracket for use in forming concrete structures formed as a generally U-shaped bracket member having two legs and an intermediate segment therebetween. The bracket member is configured to slide over a form member used to form a structure into which concrete is to be poured, with its legs depending along the form member a predetermined distance. Each leg of the bracket member has two spaced-apart J-shaped members aligned vertically with each other, and each J-shaped member is configured to support a rebar member to be used in forming the structure. A retention nipple or appendage is preferably included at the end of the J-shaped members. Notches or scored grooved are located to remove the intermediate segment. The bracket can also be made as a half bracket for use on end forms.

Abstract: An adjustable wreath hanger, preferably made of molded plastic, is disclosed herein that preferably comprises a hanger strip attachable to the top of a door or other object and a hook strip that slidably engages the hanger strip to permit selective variation of the distance between a rearwardly facing door hook and a forwardly facing wreath hook. The hanger strip preferably comprises a plurality of forwardly facing detent members into which a tooth projecting rearwardly from an engagement tab on the hook strip can be selectively engaged or disengaged to vary the relative positions of the two strips, thereby effectively elongating the length of the wreath hanger.

Abstract: A hanging apparatus includes a body containing a rotating hanging member that may be recessed inside the body when not being used and easily rotated out from the body at an angle when needed to hang an item. The use of a hanging member that can be recessed provides for a hanging system that is more compact for storage and packaging, and less unsightly when not being used to hang an item. The hanging apparatus may be temporarily secured to an object, such as a tree trunk when used outdoors, with a belt that passes through a channel in the body. Alternatively, the hanging apparatus may be attached to an object or structure through use of conventional attachment means such as a screw, nail, or adhesive. The hanging apparatus may also be built directly into a structure such as a wall.

Abstract: A device for holding garment hangers is described which has two parts: one preferably inflexible hook part made of plastics material or metal shaped to be carried by a rail and a flexible loop or strap or series of loops, adapted to receive many garment hangers. The two parts are connected flexibly and the loop may be adjusted to alter its separation from a rail. The device allows more garments to be hung from a single rail than previously was possible and is particularly useful in the transport and storage of garments in shops, warehouses and factories. Two devices may be interlocked across a handler's shoulders.
