Abstract: A device for suspending an ironing board comprising a at least two support brackets each having an upper segment and a lower segment pivotally attached to one another by a pivotal connection. Each upper segment includes a hook end for mounting the support bracket to the top edge of a door or similar support structure. Each lower segment has a hook end for holding a leg of the ironing board so as to suspend the ironing board in an upright storage position against the face of the door. The support brackets can be adjusted to support ironing boards having T-shaped and Y-shaped legs. The device can include a crossbrace pivotally attaching the support brackets.

Abstract: A tool and parts tray having a shallow tray base, formed of bent and welded sheet metal, with first and second generally identical suspension strap members formed of sheet metal bent and configured for securing, such as by welding, to the bottom and adjacent side of the tray base. The lower ends of the suspension strap members are triangularly configured to provide a base portion of the triangle for affixing to the bottom, a leg portion perpendicular to the bottom and a hypotenuse portion providing bracing to the leg portion. The other end of the suspension strap member is disposed at a right angle to the leg portion. First and second generally identical L-shaped members formed of sheet metal are adjustably attached at the suspension ends of the suspension straps to form a hook for positioning over a suitable support, such as a cross beam of a hydraulic vehicle lift. A tool and parts holding means is provide in the form of depressions in the tray bottom or by means of magnetic strips in the tray bottom.

Abstract: A sign display device consists of a substantially U-shaped bracket with arms that resiliently grip a bar member such as used to form a frame for mounting a poster or sign. Slots extend through the bracket and are sized to receive sign clips that are affixed to the back of a sign. Use of the sign display device permits attaching a secondary sign to a main sign or poster display, with the bracket concealed by the secondary sign and standing out from the surface of the main sign for increased or enhanced visual recognition.

Abstract: A detachable support attachable to a swimming pool having a clamp, and a hook assembly attached to the clamp, wherein the hook assembly disengages from the clamp when the load force exerted on the hook exceeds a predetermined level.

Abstract: An adjustable planter box hanger for hanging a planter box at a selected angular position from a support structure having front and rear faces adjoined by a top brim portion comprises left and right hanging support brackets, each having a support structure engaging top portion for engaging the top brim portion of a support structure, and terminating in a downwardly turned lip portion for engaging the rear face of a support structure. Each of the left and right hanging support brackets also has a main downwardly depending leg having top and bottom ends and depending from the support structure engaging top portion, and an outwardly projecting support arm for receiving a planter box thereon. The outwardly projecting support arm terminates in an upwardly turned lip portion.

Abstract: A hook device includes an elongated horizontal positioning plate having upper and lower longitudinal edges and a rear face formed with a plurality of insert grooves which extend between the upper and lower longitudinal edges, a plurality of hook members, each of which has a straight portion with upper and lower ends, each of the upper and lower ends being formed with a forwardly extending hook projection, the straight portion of each of the hook members being received in one of the insert grooves of the positioning plate, and an elongated horizontal retaining plate mounted on the rear face of the positioning plate in such a manner that the straight portion of each of the hook members is sandwiched between the positioning plate and the retaining plate.

Abstract: An integrally formed hanger fixture includes a substantially vertically oriented wall having a top end and a bottom end. A substantially horizontally oriented wall is connected to the top end of the vertical wall. A front retainer wall is connected to the bottom end of the vertically oriented wall and extends upwardly therefrom in a spaced substantially parallel manner. A wing overlies the horizontally oriented wall. A hinge connects the wing to the horizontally oriented wall. The hinge enables the wing to pivot in relation to the horizontally oriented wall until the wing is disposed beneath the horizontally oriented wall. A rear retainer wall is preferably connected to the bottom end of the vertically oriented wall and extends upwardly therefrom in a substantially parallel manner. The hanger fixture is used to hold a display rack to a store shelf.

Abstract: A hanger for holding a fluorescent drop light at a desired orientation or angle. The hanger holds the tubular lamp of a drop light by a clip. A hook for suspending the hanger adjustably attaches to the clip. The attachment apparatus includes a base surface having angularly displaced radiating slots for partially surrounding the rod stock of the hook, a threaded stud projecting from the base surface, and a threaded nut. The slots are preferably displaced in forty-five degree increments. The hook has an eye which is slipped over the threaded stud prior to tightening the nut. The hook is secured at a desired orientation by tightening the nut when a straight portion of the hook partially occupies one of the slots. The hook can be secured vertically, horizontally, or in an intermediate orientation depending upon which slot engages the straight section of the hook.

Abstract: A hinged product display clip for gripping a product for suspension from a product display structure has a front panel with a hook and a dual hinge member integrally attached along a first hinge to a lateral edge of the front panel and along a second hinge to a rear panel closeable about the hinge member relative to the front panel to form a product receiving channel and lockable with the front panel in a closed position to firmly grip a product in the channel between the front and rear panels for suspended display.

Abstract: An ornament hanger comprising an elongated loop shaped structure having an arcuate ornament supporting portion at one end and an attachment portion at the other end. A bendable closure member cooperates with the supporting portion to inhibit ornaments from disengaging from the ornament hanger. A part of the arcuate ornament supporting portion has an enlarged cross section with respect to other parts of the arcuate ornament supporting portion to provide strengthening of the supporting portion permitting heavy ornaments to be supported by the ornament hanger. The enlarged cross-sectional portion is dumbbell shaped. A part of the dumb bell shaped enlarged portion being asymmetrical such that one end of the enlarged portion in cross section is larger than the other end.

Abstract: A holder for supporting an umbrella relative to a golf cart. The inventive device includes a mounting assembly for securing to a golf cart. The mounting assembly includes an elongated base member with a hook at one end to engage a wire basket of the golf cart; and a channel receiver on the lower surface of the base member to accept the seat supporting rail of the golf cart when the holder is pivoted to a horizontal position. An adjustable support assembly is pivotally mounted to the bifurcated second end of the mounting assembly for engaging a center pole of an umbrella to support the umbrella relative to the golf cart. The support assembly includes an elongated support stanchion; a mounting post coupled to the support stanchion; at least one strap secured to the mounting post, the distal ends of the straps having fasteners to fasten about the umbrella. The support assembly is angularly adjustable using a fastener and wing nut directed through the furcations of the base member.

Abstract: An improved door hook or bracket which is thin enough to fit between the top of the door and the jamb, and strong enough to hold significant weight when the door is opened. The door hook is comprised of a U-shaped bracket which has a top having a bottom surface, a front side having a hook and a back side having an adhesive layer attached to the inside surface thereof. The front side is attached to one edge of the top at an acute angle relative to the bottom surface of the top. A compressible pad may be attached to the bottom surface of the top. The compressible pad preferably has a releasable adhesive. Flexible molded-in protrusions may be used as the compressible pad.

Abstract: A hanger/hook accessory supports articles on a vertically dependent member hung from an outer underside of a pool rim member. The hanger/hook accessory has a mounting bracket attached to an outer underside of a pool rim member; a removable fastener device connecting the mounting bracket to a member having opposite ends; and a hook connected to the member for supporting the articles. In a second embodiment, a mounting bracket is attached to outer underside of the pool rim member, the bracket having a vertically extending dependent portion; a hook with a mounting connector portion at one end; and a removable fastener device securing the mounting connector portion of the hook to the dependent portion of the bracket.

Abstract: A device for holding garment hangers is described which has two parts: one preferably inflexible hook part made of plastics material or metal shaped to be carried by a rail and a flexible loop or strap or series of loops, adapted to receive many garment hangers. The two parts are connected flexibly and the loop may be adjusted to alter its separation from a rail. The device allows more garments to be hung from a single rail than previously was possible and is particularly useful in the transport and storage of garments in shops, warehouses and factories. Two devices may be interlocked across a handler's shoulders.

Abstract: A device for hanging articles, such as clothing, athletic equipment, and equipment bags, from a chain link fence or the like, comprises an elongate body having a front side and a rear side. On the rear side is a spring-loaded fence-gripping clasp, dimensioned for releasably grasping the wires of the fence. The fence-gripping clasp comprises a fixed fence-gripping jaw and a movable fence-gripping jaw, spring-biased toward the fixed fence-gripping jaw. On the front side is a spring-loaded hanger clasp, specifically adapted for releasably grasping an article having a strap or handle, but also suitable for hanging an article of clothing. The hanger clasp comprises a fixed hanger jaw and a movable hanger jaw, spring-biased to close against the fixed hanger jaw. In a preferred embodiment, the hanger clasp is disposed near the lower end of the elongate body, and a fixed clothes hook extends from the front of the body, above the hanger clasp.

Abstract: A warning light device includes a base for receiving a warning light member and having a pair of panels laterally extended outward. A pair of hooks are secured to one of the panels for hooking the base to the back support of the bicycle. Two securing members may engage with the dust shield of the bicycle and two bolts may secure the securing members to the panel so as to secure the base to the bicycle. The base includes a magnet member secured in the bottom portion for attaching the warning light device to the upper portion of the vehicle.

Abstract: An arrangement for mounting decorative items on cylindrical supports available at the premises to be decorated includes an elongated strap that is flexible for winding around the respective cylindrical support, and a fixture secured to one end of the strap and carrying a hook-shaped formation for suspending the decorative item therefrom. The strap has a series of ratchet-type teeth on one of its major surfaces, and the fixture has an aperture for the passage of the strap therethrough after having been wound around the cylindrical support. The fixture also includes a pawl-type holding member mounted thereon for pivoting between an engaging position in which it engages at the aperture behind one of the teeth of the strap, and a releasing position in which it frees the strap for unimpeded passage through the aperture.

Abstract: A liquid releasing device for a water tank includes a container disposed in the water tank for receiving liquid therein, a float-controlled valve assembly mounted on a bottom wall of the container for releasing the liquid in the container when water level in the water tank drops below a predetermined level, and an adjustable mounting unit for mounting the container on a rim of the water tank. The mounting unit includes an elongated first support member mounted slidably on a top surface of the container, and an elongated second support member mounted slidably and longitudinally to the first support member. The second support member has one end portion formed with a hook portion, and another end portion connected slidably to the first support member. The first support member has a distal end adjacent to the hook portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool box that has a lid that may be unobstructedly opened while the box is suspended by its own hanger from a horizontal member of a scaffold. Moreover, the tool box is designed to block rotation of the box while suspended, so that it may be opened, closed, and accessed while remaining out of the way in its hanging position on the scaffold.

The compressible pad preferably has a releasable adhesive. Flexible molded-in minor protrusions may be used as the compressible pad.

Abstract: An improved apparatus for attaching a walker caddy container to a conventional walker is provided, wherein the apparatus is easily adjustable, without additional adapters, to accommodate attachment to a variety of walker designs. The apparatus comprises a pair of hanger arms which are adjustable and which provide vertical support by hanging from a horizontal connecting member of the walker, while a pair of support arms provide horizontal support by pressing against one each of a pair of forward leg members of the walker. The support arms are attached to a rotatable disc positioned beneath the walker caddy container, thereby to provide extendable adjustability to the support arms in order to accommodate horizontal support against a variety of walker designs. The support arms are slidably mounted to the walker caddy container and are lockable into a desired position.

Abstract: A CDU hanger mount assembly and hanger is provided. The mount assembly and hanger allows the CDU to be supported by an object for supporting the CDU while the connecting point between the hanger mount and the pivot end of the hanger may be selectively moved from a point midway between the front and back of the CDU top toward the back of the CDU. This allows the CDU to be less displaced from the vertical upon displacing contact with an object such as a bedframe piece. The hanger and hanger mount assembly allows the alignment of the indicia on the CDU with the top surface of the material collected in the CDU to be a more accurate representation of the actual volume of material collected in the CDU. The mount assembly and hanger may also be used with medical devices other than CDUs.

Abstract: A tension clamp hanger which acts to suspend flexible articles or objects within a flexible container, from a support. The hanger has a rigid, vertical shank with a hook at the upper end and a generally horizontal lower end which is separated into two opposing halves. In use, the hook portion of the hanger is engaged with the support, such as a rod or tree, to suspend the hanger. A flexible portion of the article or container to be suspended is looped around the rigid, vertical shank of the hanger to completely encircle the shank, and after crossing the flexible portion back over itself, the flexible portion is placed in between the opposing parts of the lower end. The tension clamp hanger then acts to grip the article or container more tightly as the article is pulled in a downward direction. The article is easily released, however, by simply pulling the article up and away from the lower end of the hanger.

Abstract: An accessory has an elongate support member which is adjustable in length to accommodate attachment to various items such as strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, and the like, and has attachment means for removably attaching the support member thereto. At least one hook for carrying items such as a handbag, shopping bags, a diaper bag, etc., is formed upon the support member. A drink holder formed upon the support member adjusts in size to accommodate various sizes of drinks. The drink holder is pivotally mounted such that the drink remains upright regardless of the angular orientation of the support member. A drink holder used independently of the accessory is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cup holder is provided to attach to a piece of furniture. The cup holder includes a base formed to include spaced-apart side-by-side cup receiving receptacles, a mounting fixture apended to the base, and spaced-apart furniture engaging clamps apended to the mounting fixture. The mounting fixture includes a V-shaped channel formed by a V-shaped side wall and a V-shaped flange which allows the cup holder to engage two sides of the piece of furniture (e.g., the corner of a table).

Abstract: A universal end seal for a butt splice or in-line optical fiber closure is described. The seal includes a keyed tubular member to permit initial assembly but re-entry and use without dis-assembling the complete end seal. A hanger for an in-line closure is also described.

Abstract: A clothing protection apparatus for protecting clothing or the like during storage and transportation. The apparatus having a top attachment device to secure onto the top of a door thus allowing the user to easily manipulate the invention during use. A looping hook is use to secure the invention onto a clothing rail when the invention is not in use. A lower attachment device is provided to support a clothing hanger and the accompanying garment for positioning before a protective cover is to be installed. A common roll of protective covering is provided with perforations between each cover. To use the device, a clothing hanger and clothing garment is placed onto the lower attachment device whereupon the protective covering is unrolled while simultaneously being wrapped around the clothing garment until the first perforation of the cover is reached. The protective cover is then torn at the perforation and the hook of the clothing hanger is pulled through the opening provided at the top of the protective cover.

Abstract: A container hanger for manual attachment to a conventional plastic bottle such as a shampoo bottle at its flat end portion which allows the support device to be fastened by screwing into the base of the container and hung inverted from a towel rack or shower pipe, thereby allowing easy access to the fluid within the container while greatly organizing a bathroom area to keep containers off the counter top surfaces and floors. The support device includes a self-drilling threaded fastener for manual insertion and attachment to the plastic container.

Abstract: A cart can retainer for aiding in the movement of heavy loads by steadying them is disclosed. This device includes a flat clip welded together with a curved rod and is used in connection with devices such as a hand truck or garden cart. This device also may be adapted to use extention rods and elastic bands to further encircle and ease in transporting the load.

The assembly may also include a receptacle region adapted for the retention of a canned drink, baby bottle, loose articles or the like. The assembly provides a myriad of hook configurations and demountable attachment sections for the securement of loose articles such as purses, sweaters, towels or other infant items. In this manner, strollers, bicycles and the like may be rendered safer and more convenient for the user who must handle loose articles.

Abstract: A collection bag hanger is disclosed for attaching fluid collection bags, such as a urinary drainage bags, to beds having bedrails of different widths. The collection bag hanger comprises a central body portion having parallel side edges, an attachment strap for releasably supporting the fluid collection bag, and a pair of opposed hook arms of generally inverted U-shaped configuration, each hook arm having a first depending leg portion hingedly connected to one of the side edges of the central body portion. A rigid strap member is provided for securing the hook arms in any of a plurality of symmetrical angular positions for receiving and securely engaging bedrails of different widths.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for mounting a coat rack, bookshelf or the like to a wall panel. The apparatus includes a pair of side supports which support opposing ends of the coat racks, bookshelves or the like. The apparatus is provided with a mounting mechanism which allows the apparatus to mount to either a top edge of the wall panel or to a set of slotted standards on a front surface of the wall panel. One of two specific mounting mechanisms are provided. The first, an L-shaped bracket, allows the apparatus to be mounted over the top edge of the wall panel. The second, a V-shaped hook plate, allows the apparatus to be mounted into slotted standards. Thus, a single pair of side supports accommodates either mounting arrangement. A leveling mechanism is also provided for leveling the apparatus.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a boot hanging system for conveniently storing western style boots when not in use. There are two disclosed embodiments, one of which attaches to the top of a conventional household door and the other is a wall mounted version. Both embodiments include a main hanger member to which leather straps of different lengths and hooks are releaseably attached to provide a staggered effect to the boots hanging thereon. Each embodiment can accommodate up to five pairs of boots and provide ready access to the boots while simultaneously taking up a minimum amount of household storage space.

Abstract: A drink holder consists of a holder and a rectangular insulation blanket. The holder has a tab fitting between a window glass and an automobile's inner door panel, a connector joining the tab and a hook mating with its counterpart on the insulation blanket. On the upper longer side of the insulation blanket, there is a ring structure with a cross section of a hook corresponding to the hook of the holder. A flexible hook and loop band encloses the shorter sides of the insulation blanket allowing it to accommodates drink containers with different diameters. The insulation blanket also has a stopper located on its inner side wall preventing the drink container from sliding through.

The fuel pump unit is removably mounted to the reservoir by a fuel pump bracket and the fuel sender unit is removably mounted to the reservoir by a fuel sender bracket The reservoir, fuel pump bracket and fuel sender bracket can be composed of materials compatible with alcohol fuels or other fuel compositions.

Abstract: An improved device for piercing and supporting sheeting from a previously installed ceiling grid molding and method for a single worker to install and seal sheeting around the periphery of a room to isolate the room for asbestos removal.

Abstract: An article holder which is generally of an S-shaped cross section and includes an upper slot for receiving an edge portion of a vehicle sun visor and a lower slot for receiving an article to be temporarily held within a vehicle, such as sunglasses or eyeglasses. The article holder is easily fitted onto the sun visor and positions the article held thereby in a readily accessible position. If desired, the article may also carry a holder for a pen or pencil and also a mirror. The article holder preferably includes a sheet metal core covered by suitable fabrics with the fabrics being applied to the sheet metal core when the core is in its flat planar state, after which the core is bent to the desired S-shaped configuration of the article holder.

Abstract: A sign holder assembly used to pendently support signs, posters or advertising material from a ceiling or overhead support. The holder assembly has a strip of magnetic material that adheres directly to metal ceiling structures. A channel body accommodates one or more hooks that are attachable to the sign. A gripping tool having an elongated handle is used to locate the holder assembly adjacent the metal ceiling surface and remove the holder therefrom.

Abstract: A holder assembly for mounting an umbrella on any of a variety of wire baskets used on golf carts includes a hollow tube in which an umbrella handle may be inserted and retained against accidental removal, with means to readily adjust the height of the umbrella, and means to accommodate various shapes and placements of wire baskets. The assembly also may be used on various other vehicles, and it is readily installable and removable without the use of tools.

Abstract: A mounting device for positioning a liquid or solid containing vessel relative to first and second bodies, such as adjacent stadium seats, utilizing a holder having an opening for at least partially surrounding the vessel. The holder further includes a flange which extends outwardly from the opening and possesses first and second surfaces for contacting the first and second bodies. A hanging element is formed with an element for engaging a structural member spanning the first and second bodies and includes an end portion which engages and removably connects to the holder.

Abstract: A scaffold table for sheet rock finishers includes a horizontal planar base with subtending walls and a spaced apart U-shaped border wall that together define a U-shaped elongate slot sized to cradle wide-bladed masonry tools therein. The table includes a pair of pivotally mounted adjustable length legs having channels on one end to rest against a horizontal scaffold bar. The forward portion of the table includes an elongate hook member to fit over a higher scaffold bar for removably attaching a table thereto. The table base is reinforced from below and includes at least one vertical hole therethrough for cradling of a nail gun or similar power tool.

Abstract: There is provided an angled display assembly having a plurality of product display fixtures attached to and spaced along a polygonal display standard. Each of the display fixtures includes an inverted, generally U-shaped mounting bracket designed to slidably clamp over the display standard, and a support arm extending outwardly from the mounting bracket and having proximal and distal portion. The distal portion of the support arm is attached in a bent configuration to the proximal portion so that, in clamped position, the distal portion extends outwardly from the standard at a predetermined, non-normal and non-parallel angle thereto. A support lock extends downwardly away from the mounting bracket and includes a locking leg spaced from the support arm which interacts with the bottom portion of the standard to lock the display fixture thereto and offset rotational moments imposed by supported products.
