Abstract: An application for a decoration clip includes a portion for inserting between a facial board of a roof and a drip guard and a portion for interfacing with an outer surface of the drip guard. The substantially flat insertion surface is connected to the substantially flat outlay surface, thereby forming an elongated U-shape when viewed from a side. A device for holding the decoration is situated on an outer surface of the portion for interfacing with an outer surface of the drip guard.

Abstract: In one implementation, a bracket includes a body having a first connection feature and a second connection feature each adapted to retain a separate portion of a component. The first connection feature is rotationally misaligned relative to the second connection feature so that a portion of the component is received in a first direction in the first opening and then the component is moved in a second direction to receive another portion in the second opening. In one form, the connection features include openings that are arranged such that one portion of the component is first slidably received in the first opening, and then the component is rotated generally about the portion received in the first opening so that another portion of the component can be received in the second opening.

Abstract: Described herein is a mounting system and slider clips that support simplified installation of photovoltaic structures. The mounting system comprises a support structure which can be mounted to support columns via an optional tilt table. The support structure comprises a plurality of parallel spaced beams and a plurality of parallel spaced rails that are mounted approximately perpendicular to the beams. Disclosed embodiments describe a collapsible support structure in which the rails are pivotally mounted to the beams. Rails are preassembled with prefabricated slider clips for holding edge portions of the photovoltaic structures. Rails can also be integrally formed with slider clips. Described herein are also methods of installing one or more photovoltaic structures using the mounting system and methods for manufacturing slider clips and a photovoltaic structure mounting system.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket includes a bottom wall and a side wall. The bottom wall defines a bottom wall slot. The second bracket is configured for securing a fan on the side wall of the first bracket and includes a resiliently deformable latching member. A clipping portion is located on the latching member and engageable in the bottom wall slot so as to secure the second bracket on the bottom wall of the first bracket.

Abstract: Described herein is a mounting system and slider clips that support simplified installation of photovoltaic structures. The mounting system comprises a support structure which can be mounted to support columns via an optional tilt table. The support structure comprises a plurality of parallel spaced beams and a plurality of parallel spaced rails that are mounted approximately perpendicular to the beams. Disclosed embodiments describe a collapsible support structure in which the rails are pivotally mounted to the beams. Rails are preassembled with prefabricated slider clips for holding edge portions of the photovoltaic structures. Rails can also be integrally formed with slider clips. Described herein are also methods of installing one or more photovoltaic structures using the mounting system and methods for manufacturing slider clips and a photovoltaic structure mounting system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a clasp with a locking function to prevent losing portable items such as mobile phones, walkie-talkies, PDAs, and MP3s. To overcome the problems of conventional clasps which are easily released while being carried when a force is exerted on them in a certain direction, and with which portable items that are coupled to carrying mounts and worn on the body of a user are frequently lost because the clasp becomes disengaged while the user is using public transportation densely packed with people or walking, the present invention proposes a clasp with a locking function, which includes a fixing member fixedly coupled to the coupling part of a mount, and a clip pivotably coupled to the fixing member by a rotational axis.

Abstract: A hinge device includes a coupler having two substantially C-shaped outer clamp members which are interconnected back-to-back at a juncture and which respectively have open mouths opposite to the juncture, and two substantially cylindrical inner clamp members fitted rotatably and respectively in the outer clamp members. Each inner clamp member has a substantially cylindrical outer surface, and two clamping arms defining an axially extending clamping groove therebetween. The clamping groove has a groove opening alignable with the open mouth of one of the outer clamp members. A hoop assembly having two hoops interconnected hingedly by the hinge device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism includes a fixed member, a movable member, and a driving member. The fixed member has a first claw portion, and the movable member has a second claw portion. The movable member is movably connected to the fixed member via the driving member. The driving member is configured for moving the movable member in a direction away from the first claw portion of the fixed member. A manipulator using the fixing mechanism is also disclosed.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a receiving rack, a sliding member slidably mounted to the receiving rack, a first resilient member, and a latching unit. The latching unit includes a fitting member pivotally mounted to the receiving rack, a locking member slidably received in the fitting member, and a second resilient member. The fitting member includes a resisting plate and an elastic clamping portion. The locking member faces the sliding member. A wedged protrusion protrudes from the clamping portion, operably latched with the receiving rack. The first resilient member resist against the sliding member and the fitting member. When the latching tab engages with the sidewall of the bracket, the sliding member is moved to deform the first resilient member. Thereafter, the sliding member resists the resisting plate, to block the fitting member to rotate further into the receiving rack. The wedged protrusion is incapable of latching with the receiving rack.

The mounting clip is pivotable from a first position, where an end region of the mounting clip does not extend beyond a periphery of the housing, to a second position, where the end region extends beyond the housing periphery. Also, a lighting device, comprising a housing, a trim element and at least one mounting clip. The mounting clip is pivotable, such that if the mounting clip is in a second position and then the trim element is rotated, the mounting clip will pivot to a third position, where the mounting clip engages the housing such that the trim element is biased toward a ceiling or other structure in which the lighting device is mounted. Abstract: Embodiments of mounting clips are described. One such embodiment of a mounting clip for attaching an object, device, or portion of a device to a computer monitor comprises a main body. At least one hook-shaped rib is coupled to the main body. The at least one rib is removably insertable within an opening in the computer monitor. A foot, coupled to the main body, contacts an exterior surface of the computer monitor while the at least one rib is inserted within the opening. A holder receptacle is coupled to the main body and provides a mating point for coupling an object to the mounting clip.

Abstract: A fastening clip for attaching a component to a stud of a support part has a base part with an opening for accepting the stud. The opening has an axis and has a fastening region and an unlocking region located next to one another perpendicular to the axis. Resilient retaining means for holding the stud in place are arranged in the fastening region, which means are designed such that the stud can be introduced into the fastening region in the direction of the axis and the stud located in the fastening region can be displaced into the unlocking region by a relative movement of the stud and fastening clip perpendicular to the axis of the opening, wherein in the unlocking region the stud can be removed from the opening.

Abstract: A clamp clip adapted to grip an item, such as a planar sheet. The clamp clip may have pincers adapted to open and close in a scissors like fashion. The clamp may be used with a tripod or a monopod, and in some embodiments a tripod with flexible legs utilizing ball and socket joint connectors which, when interconnected, form a flexible assembly. The ball and socket joint connectors may utilize an over-molded strip around the outside of the connector to facilitate in their use for gripping when wrapped around objects.

Objects of different widths are removably yet snugly grasped within the object mounting portion. The clip portion includes upper and lower members defining a slot for receiving the article through a lip of the slot and frictionally securing the clip to the article.

The fixing apparatus includes a mount fixed to the circuit board, two locking members attached to the mount, and a clip. The mount defines a receiving hole accommodating the heat sink. The clip includes a positioning portion abutting against the heat sink, and two retaining arms extending from opposite ends of the positioning portion. The positioning portion presses the heat sink against the circuit board in response to the retaining arms engaging with the locking members.

The first bottom slot is substantially aligned with the first top slot. The second bottom slot is substantially aligned with the second top slot. A maximum first distance between the first top slot and the first bottom slot equals or exceeds the width. For greater securement, multiple teeth on each side of this U-shaped receiving area would be employed and with at least one tooth on each side thereof being in alignment with the other. Furthermore, the teeth on at least one side of this receiving area would include multiple teeth, both pointed and elongated.

A pair of spaced apart ribs extending vertically between the base and the top across the open back and a slidable element disposed between the ribs enable vertical positioning of the housing in front of the grill. Abstract: An article holder is provided for supporting a sheet of material on a vertical surface. The article holder includes a backing plate connectable to the vertical surface and a clip operatively connected to the backing plate. The clip includes a face plate and an upper wall interconnecting the upper edge of the face plate and the upper edge of the backing plate. A retaining leg extends from the lower edge of the face plate. The retaining leg moveable between a closed position wherein the terminal end of the retaining leg engages the inner surface of the backing plate and an open position wherein the retaining leg is spaced from the inner surface of the backing plate. The inner surface of the backing plate, the inner surface of the face plate and the inner surface of the upper wall define a cavity for receiving a portion of the sheet.

The label holder includes a front panel, a back panel connected to the front panel with a common bottom edge with a cavity there between. The label holder also has a protective flange along a top edge of the back panel and a shelf clip portion separated from the back panel by a common top edge. The shelf clip portion includes an upward retaining flange for engaging the shelf and includes a downward angled engaging portion terminating in a catch flange and a curved resilient hinge portion that is configured to encompass the catch flange and terminate in an upward flange. The shelf clip portion provides resilient clamping onto the shelf. The catch flange is configured to engage a lower shelf channel flange as the curved resilient hinge wraps an arcuate channel of the shelf.

Abstract: A snap-in glass carrier engageable with a window regulator assembly for snap fitting a movable door glass with a glass retention hole to the glass carrier is disclosed. The glass carrier may comprise a glass carrier base and a spring finger. The spring finger may extend in a cantilevered fashion from the base and include a barb spaced from the base and engaged with the retention hole. The spring finger may also include a spring finger neck adjacent to the base and connecting to the base at an attachment location, with the spring finger neck being tapered and having a curvature configured to align the attachment location directly under an edge of the glass when the glass is mounted to the glass carrier. The snap-in glass carrier may also include saber-toothed ribs under the barb and a support bridge for the spring finger.

The upright bars can be separated from the transverse bars so that the curtain can be folded.

Abstract: A tactical device holster (TDH) system is described that is a complete carry and deployment solution allowing for split-second deployment of hand-held non-lethal/lethal deployable devices (HNLDD) by tactical personnel. The TDH system allows tactical personnel to deploy HNLDDs without having to disarm because deployment requires only a single hand, and the TDH system indexes the HNLDD in the proper position for deployment. The TDH system allows the HNLDD to go from secure carry to deployment in under one second while not impeding the deadly force option during deployment. The TDH system keeps the fuze lever of the HNLDD fixed in a pre-specified position. The HNLDD is not altered for use with the TDH system and allows quick insertion of the HNLDD. The TDH system supports numerous HNLDDs and tactical pyrotechnic and incendiary devices, and can be fixed to various tactical clothing, vests, holsters, equipment, and vehicle components.

Abstract: A system and method of installing sensors around a perimeter of a motorized armored vehicle door to detect obstructions between a closing door and a door frame are provided. A safety switch including a plurality of sensors formed of a sensing element molded in a casing is provided. Adjacent sensors are separated from one another by electrical connectors. A clip is used to retrofit the safety switch to the door.

Abstract: A bedside flashlight cradle for supporting a flashlight from the side of a bed frame for ready access. The cradle includes a grasper end for connection to the bed frame, a middle section, and a cradle. The grasper end may attach to the bed frame without fastener, for example, by sliding over the vertical side wall of the bed frame. The middle section may cant backward in order to support the flashlight flush with the edge of the bed frame. The cradle may be provided in spaced apart pairs to support the flash light or in other configurations such as an integral unit that has sufficient width to support a flashlight or an integral unit that has a single grasper end of sufficient width with a pair of spaced-apart cradles.

Abstract: A chemical reactor clamp for supporting a glassware or equivalent chemical reactor having a neck includes: (a) a central housing; (b) a spring-biased yoke connected to the central housing and extending outwardly therefrom for a attachment to the reactor neck; (c) a female socket on the central housing and adapted to receive a clamp rod; and, (d) a clamp rod locking mechanism on the central housing at the female socket. There is also a combination of the clamp with the rod, as well as a system with the clamp, rod and rod support unit, as well as a system with these components and a second rod (vertical rod) and a vertical rod base, to provide multiple degrees of freedom of movement for the clamp.

Abstract: A flexible conduit for routing cable between a source and destination is provided herein. The flexible conduit may have a corrugated cover portion and a generally flat attachment portion for attaching the flexible conduit to an attachment surface or nearby structure. It is contemplated that the flexible conduit may flex in the lateral and/or vertical direction such that the flexible conduit may be intricately routed between the source and destination. It is also contemplated that the attachment portion may be directly attached (e.g., pressure sensitive adhesive, hooks and loops, etc.) to the attachment surface to allow ease of installation without the use of tools. It is also contemplated that the elongate hollow body of the conduit may exhibit a slit opening opposite the attachment portion of the conduit to facilitate non-destructive installation and removal of the cables. It is also contemplated that the attachment portion may be attached to the attachment surface with screws.

The wire harness holding portion includes a holding portion main unit with a U-shaped groove with an open upper portion and a cover portion. A plurality of protruding ribs are formed on the inner wall surface on the bottom surface side of the holding portion main unit and extend lengthwise with respect to the wire harnesses from the mid-height position of the U-shaped groove, the open portion upward from the mid-height position of the U-shaped groove being wide enough to accommodate more wire harnesses above the mid-height position. The cover portion is formed with an elastic harness pressing tab for elastically pressing down on the upper portion of the wire harnesses, so that the entire outer periphery of the wire harnesses are elastically pressed down upon when covered.

The attachment portion of the component extends through a first detent area and connects a first detent side of the first detent area and a second detent side of the first detent area. The attachment portion has a greater length than the clip such that the component changes positions with respect to the retainer while maintaining the connection between the retainer and the component.

Abstract: The subject devices and methods retain surgical instruments and sterile portions of any accompanying cables within sterile surgical fields. One such surgical device includes a surgical instrument for performing surgical procedures within a sterile field. A cable is attached to the surgical instrument for connecting the surgical instrument located within the sterile field to support equipment located outside the sterile field. A self-retracting coil is operatively connected to the surgical instrument. The self-retracting coil is adapted and configured to be anchored within the sterile field to ensure that the surgical instrument and the sterile portion of the cable remain within the sterile field during performance of the surgical procedure.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved structure of wrench rack. The structure includes a rack, a sliding board and at least one lock piece. The rack has a sliding groove and a plurality of clips that are provided on both sides of the sliding groove in pairs. Every pair of clips is spaced in parallel for retaining different sizes of wrenches. Each of the clips consists of two opposite jaws, one of the jaws is equipped with an elastic piece to press on the wrench, and thus the wrench is retained between the jaws stably. The sliding board connects in sliding with the rack, and a plurality of positioning hooks are provided on one side of the sliding board in parallel, the positioning hooks can grip wrenches by sliding with the sliding board, so as to prevent the wrench from taking out. The lock piece can lock the sliding board on the rack when the positioning hook locks the wrench.
