The pedestal is supported movable between a support portion for supporting an electronic device mounted on the support surface and a removal position at which the pedestal is arranged through a movement thereof in which the pressing portion descends. The lever mechanism includes a pressed arm and a projection. The pressed arm is pressed by the pressing portion to thus move downward when the pedestal moves from the support position to the removal position. The projection moves upward along with the rotation of the fulcrum portion caused by the downward movement of the pressed arm to thus project from the support surface of the pedestal.

The ventilation support for laptop computers includes a flat, planar panel generally matching the bottom surface dimensions of the laptop computer. A front edge of the panel is hinged to the front edge of the bottom surface of the laptop computer. One or more collapsible support members join a rear portion of the panel to a rear portion of the bottom surface of the laptop computer. The collapsible support members will support the laptop computer above the panel in the open position during use, but readily collapse to allow the panel to be placed into the closed position for storage. The collapsible support member(s) may be rigid and unitary, or articulated.

Abstract: System and method for correcting a topography of an object being imaged by a multi-array microscope system. The object is forced to conform to a surface of the substrate supporting the object with a suction force and the topography of the chosen object surface is determined. The supporting substrate is bent with the use of force applied to the substrate with at least one actuator such as to reduce the deviations of the determined topography of the object's surface from a pre-determined reference surface by transferring the changes in the curvature of the supporting substrate to the object. In particular, the chosen surface of the object can be substantially flattened for ease of simultaneous imaging of this surface with multiple objective of the multi-array microscope.

The stand further includes a cooling fan disposed in the body below the top. The top includes a top grate formed therein configured to output air blown by the fan, and the back includes a back grate configured to intake air blown out the top grate. The air blown by the fan is configured to circulate between the top of the stand and the bottom of a laptop computer positioned on the top of the stand.

Abstract: An adjustable equipment curb has upper and lower frames, each having opposed first and second length-adjustable sides and opposed length-adjustable first and second ends interconnectable to form a rigid frame and height-adjustable mounting legs. The lower frame may be used alone, or may support the upper frame through a shock mount system having mounts affixed to both the upper and lower frames and shock absorbing springs between the mounts. The frames may be formed of interconnecting channel members, and the lower frame channel members may be of a perforated construction that, in conjunction with applied sheathing, provides acoustic damping. Seismic brackets may be affixed to the either of the frames to provide resist seismic shock and developed moment resistance.

Abstract: A mousepad having a particularly ergonomic form factor is provided for operating a mouse or other peripheral input device thereon. The mousepad is particularly well suited for protecting the wrist and forearm of users from abrasion and discomfort arising from inadvertent contact with a desk, table or other support structure that is supporting the mousepad. The mousepad is configured to mask a corner of such support structures with a portion of the mousepad that has a gradual curvature. The mousepad may include a base portion having an upper surface upon which the mouse device can operate and a clamp portion to selectively attach the mousepad to the desk, table or other support structure. Methods of attaching the mousepad to a desk, table or other support structure are also provided.

Abstract: This invention solves some critical issues of contamination and waste of paper taken from a roll of paper towels for cleaning. Two hands are required to remove a sheet, one to restrain the roll and the other to pull the sheet away The hand restraining the roll will leave contamination, exposing others to bacteria. Users will consume more paper than is required to get a clean sheet. This invention solves the problem using a self adjusting vertical clamp bar to restrain the roll, that is held on a vertical post, and horizontal base, eliminating the need to use a second contaminated hand. The clamp bar will self adjust to roll size as sheets are removed.
