The first and second fluid outlet conduits are fluidly coupled to the conical valve body on a downstream side. The valve system includes a valve actuator operatively coupled to the conical valve body and that rotates the conical valve body, and a controller that provides a valve actuator command and thereby selectively flows the engine gaseous fluid stream through the first fluid outlet conduit and the second fluid outlet conduit.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2010Publication date: September 29, 2011Inventors: J. Publication number: 20110226979Abstract: A flush valve has a valve body having an inlet and an outlet. A piston is disposed in the valve body between the inlet and the outlet. A piston cap is disposed within the valve body and has a wall along which the piston is guided. A groove is disposed in the piston cap wall for equalizing pressure on sides of the piston translating therein. The groove has a shallow, semicircular shape whereby a possibility that fluid flow therethrough is diminished is minimized.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2011Publication date: September 22, 2011Inventors: Frank A. Publication number: 20110225717Abstract: Disclosed is a valve for use in in-floor pool cleaning systems. The valve has a housing with an inlet port, an internal cavity and multiple outlet ports. A drive source, which can be an impeller positioned in the cavity and in fluid communication with the inlet port, is directly or indirectly (such as by a gear assembly) connected to a fluid control plate that has one or more apertures. As fluid enters the cavity through the inlet port the drive rotates the fluid control plate. As the plate rotates the aperture(s) rotate to allow the fluid to pass through the aperture(s) and into the respective outlet ports.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2010Publication date: September 22, 2011Inventor: Paul Gerald Malinasky, JR.

Publication number: 20110220829Abstract: A pressure-relief valve has a housing having an annular flange defining a pressure-vent hole centered on an axis and having an axially directed end face and a radially outwardly directed outer surface. A cap can fit axially over the flange in a closed position and has a skirt radially juxtaposed with the outer surface in the closed position. A spring braced axially between the cap and the housing urges the cap into the closed position. A first annularly continuous seal secured to the end face axially bears on and hermetically engages the cap in the closed position. A second annular seal secured to the outer surface has an outer edge elastically engaging the skirt in the closed position and formed with a notch through which fluid trapped between the first and second seals in the closed position can drain.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2009Publication date: September 15, 2011Applicant: MASCHINENFABRIK REINHAUSEN GMBHInventors: Kai Haemel, Klaus Schlepp

Publication number: 20110220830Abstract: A venting valve has a securing part and a valve body connected to the securing part and provided with at least one venting slot. A closure tension acts on the venting slot and is caused by a force generated within the venting valve after mounting. The venting valve is made of a unitary elastomer material.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2011Publication date: September 15, 2011Applicant: KACO GMBH + CO. KGInventor: Heiko Maisenhälder

Publication number: 20110214450Abstract: A bite-in type pipe connection structure is provided, the pipe connection structure being capable of, even if piping connection work is performed with a length of piping inserted insufficiently, minimizing deterioration of air-tightness at the joint portion, at which the piping is connected, due to an offset load acting on the piping. Also provided are a valve, a bite-in type pipe joint, and a refrigeration device using the bite-in type pipe connection structure. A ferrule 30 is provided with: a low-strength portion 34a which, when a coupling member becomes fastened to a joint body by manually rotating the coupling member, allows the distal end portion 36 of the ferrule 30 to deform so that the distal end portion 36 restrains a length of piping which is to be connected; a level changing portion 32b which connects a front tapered surface 32a, which corresponds to the low-strength portion 34a, and a rear tapered surface 32c; and a rearward portion 30A which is adjacent to the low-strength section 34a.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2010Publication date: September 8, 2011Inventors: Haruo Nakata, Takashi Shimamura

Patent number: 8011381Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing a gas to a slit valve opening are provided herein. In one embodiment, a slit valve is described. The slit valve includes a housing having an opening, the opening defined by a plurality of interior sidewalls and sized to allow a substrate to pass therethrough, a door adapted to selectively seal the opening, a gas inlet formed in the housing, and a plurality of nozzles disposed in or on at least one of the plurality of interior sidewalls, each of the plurality of nozzles in fluid communication with the gas inlet and the opening.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2008Date of Patent: September 6, 2011Assignee: Applied Material, Inc.Inventors: Jacob Newman, Douglas H. Publication number: 20110209677Abstract: A hydraulic assembly (1), particularly for an electrohydraulic valve control of an internal combustion engine, and a hydraulic valve (2) for forming such an assembly are provided. The assembly includes a hydraulic valve with a valve housing (4) and a valve carrier (3) with a valve receiver (5) in which the valve housing is received. The valve housing has a first circumferential groove (9) and a second circumferential groove (10), with the grooves (9 and 10) being defined respectively by groove walls (13, 15 and 14, 16) and extending on two sides of a hydraulic connection (6) which extends through a peripheral wall of the valve housing (4). A bead (11, 12) formed by a plastic deformation of material of the valve carrier being received in each of the two said grooves (9, 10), so that the groove walls and the beads not only fix the valve housing in the valve receiver by positive engagement but also cooperate with each other to hydraulically seal the valve housing.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2009Publication date: September 1, 2011Applicant: SCHAEFFLER KGInventors: Thomas Krämer, Marco Meisborn, Steffen Alvermann, Johannes Weninger, Henrik Meinel
