Abstract: A suspension strut includes a suspension strut bearing and a deflector seal. The suspension strut bearing has an upper portion mounted above a lower portion and a bearing seal mounted therebetween. The upper portion does not rotate with a steerable assembly while the lower portion does, with the upper portion including a lower surface adjacent to a seal opening. The deflector seal is elastomeric and is a toroidal shape, having a radially inner portion and a radially outer portion. The inner portion is secured against the lower portion of the strut bearing, and the outer portion is cantilevered outward from the inner portion to allow for elastic flexing of the outer portion. The outer portion allows for upward elastic flexing into contact with the lower surface of the upper portion of the strut bearing when a fluid or contaminant impinges upon a lower surface of the outer portion.

Abstract: A boat hull shield device comprising a bracket member attached to the tongue of a trailer. An adjustable shield-support assembly is fastened to the bracket member and extending upwardly therefrom. A pair of planar shield members is adjustably attached to the shield support assembly, with the shield members each positioned to one side of the bracket member in an open V configuration. A pair of linear brace members further stabilizes the shield members. Each brace member is secured at a first end to one shield member and at a second end to the upright support fastened to the tongue of the trailer. The planar shield members are rotationally adjustable relative to a horizontal axis, which is perpendicular to the trailer tongue and pivotally adjustable relative to a vertical axis, that is perpendicular to the trailer tongue.
Abstract: A trailer hitch cover assembly for a motor vehicle includes a hitch insert having an aperture extending longitudinally therethrough to fit over a hitch tube of a trailer hitch on a motor vehicle, and a rotatable door covering the aperture. Abstract: A boat protection system for protecting the body of a boat during transporting upon a conventional boat trailer. The boat protection system includes a front guard, a bottom guard attachable to the front guard, a first side guard attachable to the front guard, and a second side guard attachable to the front side guard. The front guard is comprised of a front portion, a front opening within the front portion for receiving a winch, and a pair of side portions. The front guard is attached to the front portion of the frame with conventional fasteners. The bottom guard is attached to a lower lip of the front guard. The front guard, bottom guard, and side guards protect the lower body of the boat carried upon the trailer from debris elevated by a motor vehicle pulling the trailer.

Abstract: A replaceable mud flap system is provided including a rigid sleeve having a bottom face with a slot formed therein. The sleeve includes a hollow interior with a rectangular cross-section. An inboard end of the sleeve is perpendicularly coupled to a frame of a truck rearwardly of one of the tires thereof. An open outboard end allows communication with the hollow interior of the sleeve. An elastomeric flexible planar flap has a rigid guide coupled along a length thereof. The guide has a rectangular cross-section for being removably and slidably situated within the open outboard end of the sleeve such that the flap extends downwardly through the slot of the sleeve. An end cap is removably coupled to the outboard end of the sleeve for maintaining the flap within the sleeve.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to an improved horse drawn carriage providing several safety and performance features. A transverse shaft tip to shaft tip deflector is fittable over wooden shafts to prevent snagging objects such as trees and fence posts between horse and harness. Wheel deflectors, wheel guards, a low position passenger seat, and a removable rear platform assembly for standing passengers are disclosed.
