  • Patent number: 7520513
Abstract: The invention is an ultra portable wheeled valet, hereafter referred to as the Shopping Diva, which is a very light weight, free standing, expandable/collapsible, portable, dolly tug, specifically designed as a shopping aide to securely hold multiple packages of various sizes and weight. The Diva is designed to be tugged (pulled from behind) when in use. As a portable dolly tug, the invention will collapse and fold up into a very small, manageable unit not much larger than an umbrella taking very little space in a vehicle. Likewise, as a portable dolly tug for shopping, it is very easy to expand, set up, and collapse again for storage, and very stable due to the wide stance of the rubber wheels. It is pulled via a simple curved handle only requiring one hand, either right or left, to pull the Diva while walking and shopping.

  • Patent number: 7464947
Abstract: The hand truck or dolly of the present invention is capable of multi-directional movement and provides an operator with complete control of movement and directional choice for the hand truck without having to remove his hands from a handgrip location to achieve mechanical adjustments of the wheels. Rather, an operator may adjust a wheel index position on-the-fly by means of a trigger assembly to rotate a wheel assembly about a vertical axis of rotation within a range of motion of approximately 100 degrees. The two, independent wheel assemblies of the hand truck of the present invention achieve multi-directional movement through positioning of the wheels in a standard index position allowing for forward and backward movement, a lateral index position allowing for lateral, or side to side, movement, or a rotational index position allowing for rotational movement, such as for cornering and circular movement.

  • Patent number: 7434818
Abstract: The “One-Hand Operation Conversion for Wheelbarrow Handles” added to a wheelbarrow, on one hand, offers single hand operability and maneuverability, and on the other hand offers added benefits to dual-handed users. The wheelbarrow can easily be converted from dual to single-handed operation and then back again with this said unit. This is completed by adding a centrally mounted handle to cross support(s) which are attached to the two longitudinally extending handles of the said wheelbarrow. When the center handle is attached, one-hand operation is achieved by the load balancing capabilities of the said handle and its mounting orientation. The center handle is formed into or mounted to the cross support(s) that are mounted to the existing longitudinal handles. The unit size dimensions and mounting method are arbitrary and will be made to fit the circumstances of mounting position and cross support material. • Patent number: 7306245
Abstract: This disclosure describes a work site utility carrier that configures into a dolly and hand truck in its retracted mode and a work bench in its elevated mode. A lower receptacle formed as part of a chassis with wheels, and an upper receptacle are pivotally connected by a unique positioning apparatus. In a retracted position the two receptacles lie side-by-side with their top surfaces essentially planar. In this mode, the carrier serves as a dolly or a hand truck. In the elevated mode the second receptacle pivots up to station securely above the chassis, The top of the second receptacle becomes a work bench. The receptacles may comprise tool boxes. One or both tool boxes may include tool drawers. Unique latching mechanisms positively secure the carrier in either mode. The latching in an elevated mode is aided by the weight of the upper receptacle.

Abstract: A container assembly is provided that includes a base container that has an upper opening and an upper container mounted in covering relation over the upper opening of the base container. A linkage connects the upper container to the base container in a manner that allows the upper container to be displaced from the covering relation over the upper opening of the base container, so as to permit access into the base container through the upper opening. A support assembly is spaced from the base container when the upper container is displaced from the covering relation over the upper opening of the base container and wheels are disposed toward a lower portion of the container assembly. A handle is provided for rollingly transporting the container assembly on the wheels in a tilted configuration.

Abstract: A backpack structure combined with pull-carrier device, which is provided with transformation spaces for retaining articles, and achieves multifunctionality that enables a person to carry the backpack on the back, the shoulders or by hand. The backpack is mainly structured from a basic bag, different sides of which are connected to transformation portions, which enable transformation of the basic bag to form various expanded or contracted states, and thereby providing a carrying device with functionality to achieve flexible adjustment of internal capacity. In addition, a pull-carrier device is movably fitted juxtaposed to a back carrying side of the body of the basic bag configured with straps. Furthermore, when using the straps to carry the backpack on the back, the pull-carrier device will not cause uncomfortableness in the back of a user, and a wheel portion of the pull-carrier device will not soil the back of the user.

  • Patent number: 7255355
Abstract: A portable collapsible stand includes first, second, and third support frames, a work surface frame, and a telescoping strut pivotably connected to the first and work surface frames. The second frame projects perpendicularly from a lower portion of the first frame. A first end of the third frame is rotatably connected to an upper portion of the first frame such that the third frame pivots from a first parallel position to a second perpendicular position with respect to the first frame. An upper portion of the work surface frame is rotatably connected to the upper portion of the first frame. In operation, the stand can assume a collapsed position in which the first, third and work surface frames are generally parallel, and an operating position in which the third frame and first frame are perpendicular and the work surface frame and surface supporting the stand are parallel.

Abstract: An apparatus for transporting, storing and airing equipment is provided having a container and a support structure. The container is defined by a plurality sides of least one of which is movable to provide access to all of or a portion of an interior of the container. Equipment can be releasably attached to the interior via an organized array of attachments disposed along an interior surface of one or more side. The support structure can elevate a side of the container thereby disposing the container at an angle relative to a support floor. In that position, the container can be maintained in an open configuration allowing an air flow to pass over and/or through the equipment for airing.
