The clearance slots allow the flat top carrier deck to be retained by a horizontal hand truck.

  • Patent number: 6616152
Abstract: A saddle rack for transporting one or more saddles includes a vertical frame attached to a base frame, where the base frame has an expandable portion that telescopes out from the vertical frame. Saddle arms for supporting saddles are pivotally connected to the front of the vertical frame allowing them to swing into horizontal position and then fold down into a vertical position. Also attached to the vertical frame is a strut that is also pivotally connected to the front face of the vertical frame. The strut swings up to support the saddle arm when it is in the horizontal position. The saddle rack also includes a locking mechanism for attaching the saddle rack to a standard dolly. The use of the saddle rack in combination with the dolly allows for easy transport of the saddle rack. The saddle rack also has portions for carrying additional accessories needed for use of equestrians including a tack holder, a basket and a muck bucket clip.

  • Patent number: 6575690
Abstract: This invention relates to a two-wheeled cart with an extended handle for the levered lifting and balanced moving of bales, such as bales of hay. More particularly, hay baled in the form of a rectangular solid is received by the cart at a hay-bale-receiving loader frame and lifted from the ground under leverage about the wheels applied from the handle used for pulling the cart. Once the bale is lifted by the handle and centrally balanced on an axle between the wheels of the cart, the hay-bale-receiving loader frame on the cart can be pivoted in a plane parallel to the axle of the cart. This pivot can occur from a lifting disposition where the major axis of a bale receiving frame is parallel to the axle between the wheels, to a transport disposition where the major axis of the hay-bale-receiving loader frame is normal to the axle between the wheels.

  • Publication number: 20030062699
Abstract: An oversized, break apart dolly for picking up and lifting massive articles such as snowmobiles. The dolly stands more than six feet tall. A typical operator of the dolly brings his arms over his head to reach the handle of the dolly, and then uses his weight to draw the handle down to in turn lift up the other end of the dolly that is engaging and lifting the heavy article. The oversized dolly can be adjusted in height and in width to receive articles of different height and width. The pick up of the dolly (the mechanism that engages the article) can be adjusted toward and away from a central axis of the dolly to be positioned as desired on the heavy article. The oversized dolly may be broken down to a relatively compact size by the legs being removably engagable with the handle, by the pick ups being removably engagable from the legs, and by the legs themselves being broken down into two pieces which are reassembled when needed.
