Abstract: Convertible chairs that can be converted to and from an open chair configuration to a box or table configuration for storage and protection of the interior portions is provided. The convertible chairs can have include one or more of a sunshade, adjustable foot rest, legs, wheels, and can in some embodiments be a reclining chair. In some aspects, a cover portion can be used to cover a portion of the interior portions of the chair when the convertible chair is in a box configuration, and be folded and retracted into a pocket of the convertible chair when in an open chair configuration.

Abstract: A bed arrangement is provided wherein the mattress is supported on a laterally slidable platform which is movable along guide tracks mounted to a support surface, between positions where the mattress overlays a side table and exposes more accessible floor space on the opposing side of the bed, to positions where the mattress does not overlay the side table and exposes floor space on each side of the bed. The support surface can be formed in an RV over a pass-through storage compartment having exterior access. In preferred embodiments, the bedroom of the RV has a side table integrally formed with the support surface on each side of a king-sized bed, and the mattress is slidable from one side wall to the other side wall, over the side tables alternatively, such that extra floor space can be exposed alternatively on both sides of the bed.

Abstract: This present invention relates to furniture, and more specifically to an ottoman that can be folded into different positions to become a sofa, a recliner or a bed. The foldable ottoman comprises a base frame having supporting members and four legs, a center segment, a first end segment and a second end segment. The center segment has a base that is pivotally attached to two of the four legs. The first end segment has a base pivotally attached to two of the four legs and is also linked to a supporting platform, a pivotable leg handle is attached to the first segment base, and a supporting platform connected to the base. The supporting platform is able to tilt off the base at varying angles. The second end segment has a second end segment base that is pivotally attached to two of the four base frame legs and a pivotable leg handle attached to the second end segment base and may also be linked to a supporting platform.

Abstract: A foldable lounge chair cushion, including a plurality of connected cushion segments right and left front flaps, right and left rear flaps, a handle that can be hidden in a fold between successive cushion segments, and a rear center flap with a handle aperture, such that the connected cushion segments form a pleated structure, which can be folded-out for use and folded-up for storage and transportation.

Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to transfer benches and, more particularly, to a transfer bench adapted to facilitate the movement into and out of an enclosure, such as a bathtub, by persons having limited mobility. A transfer bench may include first seating section, a second seating section rotatably coupled to said first seating section and configured to rotate from and between a substantially horizontal position to a substantially vertical position, wherein the second seating section cannot rotate more than about 90 degrees from the horizontal position, a first plurality of legs configured to support the first seating section, a second leg configured to support the second seating section, and a back support member extending from a side of the first seating section perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the second seating section.

Abstract: A transfer bench and methods for using same to facilitate movement of a person into and out of an enclosure are disclosed. The transfer bench comprises a first seating section that at least partially lies in a horizontal plane. A second seating section rotatably coupled to the first seating section is configured to rotate between a generally horizontal position and a generally vertical position. Each seating section can be supported by one or more legs. The transfer bench can be positioned in the enclosure. A user sits on the second seating section, moves to the first seating section, and can rotate the second seating section to a vertical position such that the transfer bench is disposed within the enclosure. The enclosure may be a wet/dry environment and can be enclosed by means such as a shower curtain, door, or other enclosure means.

The semiconductor protection device includes two vertical bipolar transistors. A well region is located within the substrate having a second type of conductivity with a base region within the well region having a first type of conductivity. A first doped region having the second type of conductivity and a second doped region having a first type of conductivity are located within the well region. A third doped region having the second type of conductivity and a fourth doped region having the first type of conductivity are located within the base region. A doped region having a first type of conductivity is located within the substrate. This doped region is connected to the fourth doped region.

Abstract: Four substantially parallelopiped cushions are provided and disposed in end-to-end relation and positionable on a plane surface with either first or second corresponding face surfaces of the cushions opposing the plane surface. Each pair of adjacent cushion ends are connected together for relative angular displacement about a transverse axis extending along corresponding end transverse marginal portions of the first corresponding face surfaces of the cushions. Three adjacent cushions of the four cushions are of generally the same length while the fourth cushion is of a length equal to approximately one half the length of each of the other three cushions.

Abstract: A convertible couch or chair has a normally stationary main frame, a primary seat frame pivotal and slidable on the main frame, a secondary seat frame slidable on the primary seat frame, and a back pivoted on the main frame and on its primary seat frame. The primary seat frame slides at its rear end in upwardly and forwardly inclined guides and links connecting it to the back automatically displace this back on displacement of the primary seat frame away from the main frame from an up position behind a stack of two cushions supported on the primary seat frame into a down position level forming a horizontal continuation of the upper surface of the lower cushion. The secondary frame is formed as a bedding-storage compartment and when pulled drawer-fashion out of the pulled-out primary seat frame serves as a support surface onto which the upper seat cushion can be flopped.
