Abstract: An interconnect within an integrated circuit provides arbitration to select one of a plurality of signal inputs for connection to a signal output. The arbitration applied uses a first arbitration parameter value, in the form of a time stamp value, and, if two or more signal inputs share such a time stamp value, then uses a second arbitration parameter, in the form of a least recently granted value. The time increment applied to the time stamp value associated with each signal input when it is granted access to the signal output is selected to reflect the quality of service to be associated with that signal input. When a comparison is made between time stamp values, the lowest time stamp value is given priority. A large time increment value corresponds to a low priority (quality of service).

  • Patent number: 9056398
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a knife including a blade and a handle, wherein the blade has a first end provided with a projection and two resilient elements, each resilient element has one end protrudingly provided with an engaging portion, and the handle has a receiving space for receiving the blade and has a first track and two second tracks provided longitudinally thereon. The projection can be movably inserted in the first track. The distance between each pair of the corresponding ends of the second tracks corresponds to the distance between the engaging portions. Thus, when the engaging portions are respectively engaged in a pair of the corresponding ends of the second tracks, the engaging portions cannot move along the second tacks, such that either the blade is completely received and positioned in the handle, or a second end of blade is extended and positioned outside the handle.

Abstract: A box cutter includes a housing with a blade slide slidably received therein. A pivotal member is pivotably connected to of the blade slide. An inclined face is defined in one of surfaces of the pivotal member and is gradually raised. The inclined face is connected to a pressing area which has two respective rounded guide portions. A spring is connected between the pivotal member and the housing to maintain the blade slide at the initial position. A button is slidably connected to outside of the cover and a spring is connected between the button and the cover. The button is moved to move the blade slide from the initial position thereof to an extended position. When the blade is cutting a workpiece, the blade is tilt and the pivotal member is pivoted by the cover so that blade slide is retracted into the housing.

Abstract: A slider has an upper sliding element, a lower sliding element and a resilient tab. The upper sliding element has two first engaging segments disposed on an inner side of the upper sliding element. The lower sliding element has two second engaging segments disposed on an outer side facing the inner side of the upper sliding element and engaging the first engaging segments. A tab holding base is formed on and protrudes from the outer side of the lower sliding element and has a chamber defined in the tab holding base. The resilient tab is held in the chamber in the lower sliding element and has two legs. Accordingly, a slider having a structure in a closed condition is provided to prevent objects from entering into the chamber to interfere the operation of the resilient tab and the operation of the slider is smooth.

Abstract: A scalpel (10) having a handle assembly (16) and one of a plurality of modular blade assemblies (18). Each blade assembly includes a casing (46) within which is a retractable rod (48) having a distal end to which is permanently affixed a blade (12), and also includes a spring (56) having an unstressed state wherein the retractable rod and its blade are retracted within the casing. The handle assembly (16) includes a handle casing (20) within which is slidably disposed a handle rod (32) that is manipulatable between a retracted position and an active position with respect to the handle casing. In the active position, the handle rod's distal end engages and pushes the proximal end (66) of the retractable rod (48) to urge the blade (12) distally for performance of a procedure, while in the retracted position, the handle rod (32) permits the retractable rod (48) to self-retract within its casing (46).
