Abstract: A storage device having discrete drawers includes a housing having a frame assembly. A drawer assembly is movably received in the housing. A cover is fixedly mounted atop the drawer assembly preventing access to the contents of the drawer assembly. The drawer assembly is further divided into at least two discrete compartments. An actuator is connected to the frame assembly, the actuator operating to move the drawer assembly along a drawer slide slidably outward from the housing. At least two second actuators are connected to said drawer assembly, each actuator operating to move one of the at least two discrete compartments outward from the drawer assembly such that the cover does not move along with the compartment.
Abstract: Pan support apparatus, systems, and methods. A pan support system includes a pan support having a pan storage space sized for receiving at least a portion of a pan. The pan support includes at least one slide surface for slidably receiving and supporting the pan in the pan storage space. A cover for covering an open top of the pan is selectively receivable in and removable from the pan storage space. A retainer retains the cover in the pan storage space. A pan storage module including a pan support is releasably mountable at a plurality of elevations on a frame.

Abstract: A rack-mounted console module includes a lower unit slideably mounted on a rail and an upper unit pivotally coupled to the lower unit. A locking mechanism includes a first part moveably disposed in the lower unit and a second part fixedly disposed on the rail. When the upper unit is closed and the lower unit slides along the rail to a target position, the first part of the locking mechanism changes from a released state to a locked state where it engages the second part of the locking mechanism to lock the lower unit. When the upper unit is opened, the first part changes from the locked state to a ready-to-released state. When the upper unit is subsequently closed, the first part changes from the ready-to-released state to a released state where it disengages from the second part, and the console module can be slid back into the rack.
Abstract: A modular, customizable, versatile, easy to use, easy to install, aesthetically pleasing surface mountable enclosure is presented. In one or more embodiments, the enclosure includes a modular housing that is configured to be gangable with one or more other housings to provide a range of sizes and configurations. In one or more embodiments, the modular housing of the invention is configured to accept a variety of interchangeable cassettes or modules that provide a variety of cable and power connections or other resources. In one or more embodiments, the modular housing of the invention includes an articulating lid mechanism that is configured to smoothly open and slide neatly out of the way while occupying a reduced volume than the lid mechanisms of the prior art. In one or more embodiments, the enclosure includes cam driven mounting clamps that allow the enclosure to be quickly and easily secured to a table top or other mounting surface.

Abstract: An organizing unit is used with a plurality of pliable containers. Each pliable container has a mouth. The organizing unit has a housing, openings, and fasteners. The housing has an external surface, more than one side, and a common container compartment. The common container compartment is formed inside the housing for receiving the plurality of pliable containers. The openings are formed between the external surface of the housing and the common container compartment. At least one of the fasteners is disposed near each opening for removably affixing one of the pliable containers within each opening. The mouth of each pliable container is disposed adjacent one of the opening and each pliable container hangs within the common container compartment.
Abstract: A dynamic chilled mini-bar includes: a cover; a movable compartment translatable to expose an interior thereof from behind the cover; and a cooling device operable to cool the interior of the movable compartment. A piece of integrated entertainment equipment in a vehicle includes: a dynamic chilled mini-bar movably installed on the integrated entertainment equipment; and an actuator coupled with at least one of a side of the integrated entertainment equipment and the movable compartment, the actuator being operable to translate the movable compartment. A method of operating a dynamic chilled mini-bar includes: receiving an input signal to translate a movable compartment of the dynamic chilled mini-bar from a first position to a second position with respect to a cover of the dynamic chilled mini-bar; and linearly translating the movable compartment to the second position according to the input signal.

Abstract: A panel is provided on a front side of an electronic device. A driving unit opens and closes the panel. A position detecting unit detects whether the panel is open. An object detecting unit detects whether there is an object on the panel when the panel is open. A control unit controls the driving unit not to close the panel when there is an object on the panel.
Abstract: A kitchen trash container system that has a tray slidably movable into and out of a kitchen cabinet when waste is placed in a container carried by the tray. A slide mechanism is positioned on the inside walls of the cabinet engaging another cooperating slide mechanism fastened to the top of the container or inside the tray walls or floor. The container top extends over both engaging slides on each side of the container to shield the mechanisms from dust and debris and hide them from view.
Abstract: The present invention provides a rotating bill acceptor for use with a gaming device. The gaming device includes a cabinet with a locking mechanism, where the bill acceptor is rotatably mounted within the cabinet and removably engages the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes one or two pins connected to the cabinet, wherein the pins are engaged by an engagement member on the bill acceptor. The bill acceptor rotates between a bill insertion position and a bill removal position and includes a cash box removably connected to the bill acceptor, which stores the bills until removed and emptied.
