Abstract: A jewelry chest and box for storing jewelry having a plurality of compartments to store jewelry items of various configurations. The jewelry chest includes pivoting cabinets having earring stands that are slidably received in the cabinets. Pivoting trays have various compartments to hold jewelry items such as bracelets, rings and pins. The jewelry box has a bottom tray and an upper tray each having divided compartments. The upper tray is slidably mounted in the box and preferably can be removed from the box.

Abstract: A storage bin mounting system is used in a refrigerator door having an inner liner formed by supporting side walls, which extend forwardly of a back wall defining a cavity. At least a vertically extending rib is formed integrally in each side wall and a plurality of retention elements are selectively aligned in different locations in the back wall. A storage bin includes an extending vertically slot between opposite side walls. The storage bin is mounted within the cavity of the refrigerator door, assembling the slot of the inner liner with each vertically extending rib. The height of the storage bin is adjusted within the cavity with an upwardly or downwardly slidable movement.

The tool hanging board is a board body having predetermined length and width and formed with several perforations at intervals. One end of the hanging hook is inserted in the perforation of the tool hanging board. A tool can be hung on the other end of the hanging hook. The cabinet body is a rectangular body composed of an upper, a lower, a front and a rear panels which define an interior space. The left and right sides of the cabinet body are formed with openings. The kit includes at least one hinge element for hingedly attaching cut-out sections of an existing hollow door for use as secondary doors in a hollow door closet. The kit may also include at least one element selected from the group consisting of a backing, a cutting device for removing a section of an existing hollow door in order to form a secondary door, a handle, a package of T-type or other such pins, and combinations of the above. Each closet door is pivotally connected to the top frame with an upper hinge assembly and pivotally connected to the floor surface of the doorway with a lower hinge assembly. The hinge assemblies are attached near the outer side panel of each door thereby permitting the inner side panel of each door to pivot between a closed position within the doorway and an open position away from the doorway.

A plurality of drawers engage a vertical hinge pin mounted from the rear wall panel, the drawers rotatable about the hinge pin from closed positions flush with the rear wall panel to open positions extending outwardly from the rear wall panel. A small appliance shelf is fixtured with an AC power socket for small appliances. A sanitization unit provides sanitization of air drawn through the unit.

Abstract: A refrigerator door has reinforcing corner brackets that structurally complete the corners of the door. The corner brackets are located at the door corners adjacent vertical and horizontal side walls of the outer door skin of the door. At least one reinforcing member such as a sheet or rectangular collar, for example, or preferably reinforcing cross brace members are connected to the corner brackets. To achieve this connection and restrict heat transfer through the door and or adjacent the inner liner or in-turned flange of the outer door skin, the corner brackets have connecting tab portions that extend into the cavity of the door away from one of the side walls of the door and spaced from the other side wall of the door. The connecting tab portion is also spaced from the outer skin sheet and the inner door liner.

Abstract: Ingress and egress to closets and doorways through standard swinging doors requires that the area the door traverses be kept clear and is, therefore, space not usable for other purposes. The pivotal storage unit replaces doors with useful additional storage which occupies the full width and height of the door opening while permitting normal access through the doorway. The unit is mounted on hinges offset from the doorframe to permit full opening of the storage unit beyond 90°. The lower hinge incorporates a thrust bearing to support storage loads. A rolling support wheel on the base of the unit additionally supports the unit when heavily loaded. The unit can be formed in a variety of furniture configurations such as an armoire, computer work center, home entertainment center, pantry, desk, curio, vanity, etc. Two units can be used for double width doorways.

A lift arm is rotatably connected to the inner surface portion of the lid and the article holding member, and a linking mechanism is disposed for rotating the lift arm. Thus, when the lid is opened, the article holding member is separated from the inner surface of the lid and moved in front of the opening of the case.

Abstract: A furniture unit comprises a closed-front credenza that folds out to form an L-shaped desk. The unit comprises a stationary desk having a partially open front, with a kneehole opening forming at least a portion of the open front. A moveable return pivotally mounted at on one side of the desk comprises a vertical face panel and a work surface mounted at a rear side of the face panel. The return is pivotal between a closed position, wherein the face panel covers the open portion of the front of the desk and the return work surface is concealed behind the face panel, and an open position, wherein the face panel is pivoted outward from the front of the desk, exposing the kneehole opening in the desk. The return work surface extends forward from the desk alongside the kneehole opening when the return is opened. The face panel is configured so as to create the impression that the furniture unit is a credenza with no kneehole opening when the return is closed.

The cabinet has a bulkhead connector that reduces electromagnetic degradation in electrical cables that extend from the cabinet.

The closure element blocks access to the storage space from a loading location with the closure element in the closed position and permits access to the storage space from the loading location with the closure element in the open position.
