  • Patent number: 7108143
Abstract: A sliding rail assembly for wire baskets is provided. The rail of the sliding rail assembly has an enlarged opening in the front so that a wire basket could be guided into the rail quickly and easily. A number of wheel members are installed along the bottom of the rail to provide both support and sliding functions to the wire basket, and much less abrasion and squeaking noise is generated when the wire basket is pushed or pulled along the rail. Specially designed blocking members are installed along the rail so as to prevent the wire basket from being pulled entirely out of the rail, or being pushed too far into the rail.

Abstract: An assembly has a frame that defines at least one opening and a subsystem that is movable relative to the frame. At least one slide connects the subsystem to the frame such that the weight of the subsystem transmits a force to the slide. The slide includes at least one projection that extends through the at least one opening in the frame. At least one urging member biases the projection to at least partially counter the force transmitted to the slide by the weight of the subsystem. At least one docketing pin slides into at least one docking hole with minimal vertical load on the docking hole.

  • Patent number: 6945617
Abstract: A drawer guide for supporting a drawer found in a desk, cabinet, appliance or other articles of furniture includes a drawer guide body defining a wall having on a first side an outwardly extending wedge, a half-prong integral with the wedge, and a support rib spaced apart from the wedge. The half-prong includes a flexible latching member extending downwardly from the wedge. The wall of the drawer guide body has on a second side a drawer mounting track for slidably receiving and mounting the drawer. The drawer guide of the invention is mountable to a pair of openings in a panel on the desk, cabinet, or appliance. Specifically, the wedge, half-prong, and flexible latching member will extend through one opening in the panel with the flexible latching member causing the drawer guide to snap fit to the panel and with the flexible latching member preventing the drawer guide from withdrawing from the panel.

  • Patent number: 6942307
Abstract: Lock plate portions are formed in a front end portion of a flat plate portion of a first rail. A stopper member is mounted on a flat plate portion of a second rail. A lock hole and elastic strips are provided on a sloping plate portion of the stopper member. The lock hole is disposed such that it faces the lock plate portions when the second rail moves in the forward direction to a predetermined position. When the lock plate portion faces the lock hole, the elastic strip displaces a front end portion of the sloping plate portion to the flat plate portion side using elastic force of the elastic strip itself and elastic force of the sloping plate portion. Accordingly, the lock plate portions are relatively received in the lock hole.
