Abstract: A dual mode vibrator is disclosed. There are available two vibrating units to enable obtainment of a variety of vibrations. Each lateral portion of the first and second vibrating units respectively supported by the first and second elastic members is supported by the first and second support bars secured at the housing for rotatable installation. Therefore, although the first and second vibrating units may rotate about the first and second support bars, the first and second vibrating units are not allowed to deviated or disengaged from the first and second support bars, whereby the plastic deformation of the first and second elastic members is prevented, and the first and second vibrating units can be positioned at predetermined positions at all times to enhance reliability of product.
Abstract: A vibrator assembly includes an electric motor, a shaft driven by the motor, and a cylindrical weight coaxially positioned on the shaft free end, wherein the cylindrical weight has a center of gravity that is radially offset from the shaft axis. The cylindrical weight includes a first portion that is lighter in weight than a second portion. When the vibrator assembly is installed within an electronic device, the cylindrical shape of the weight limits the amount of shaft deflection that can occur when the electronic device is dropped or subjected to other impact forces.
Abstract: A horn for a vehicle enabling the protection of a noise prevention member and a reduction in size, comprising the noise prevention member to eliminate noise. An outwardly projecting recessed part (2b) is formed at the bottom piece part (2a) of a bottomed cylindrical casing (2), the coil bobbin (4) of an excited coil (C) is stored in the recessed part (2b), and a terminal unit (13) having a pair of first and second terminal plates (15) and (16) for supplying power to the winding (5) of the excited coil (C) is disposed on the outer surface of the outer diameter side bottom piece (2c) of the casing. The noise prevention member (17) is disposed between the terminal plates (15) and (16) of the terminal unit (13), and a resin material (18) is filled there to embed it.
