The radiation conductor layer is formed on the ink-printed layer and does not exceed the non-transparent area of the hard substrate. In the present invention, a conductive ink is coated on the surface of a non-metallic plate, such as a glass plate, an acrylic plate or an LCD panel, to form the radiation conductor layer. Therefore, the printed antenna of the present invention is exempt from the complicated processes of fabricating the conventional metallic radiation conductors with the application field thereof expanded.

The ground plane is flexible, so the RFID tag structure can be worn by a human, and can be incorporated into a piece of clothing. A RFID antenna structure for use with a tag reader is made flat and robust so that it can be mounted on the ground to be walked upon or driven over.

    Abstract: An antenna which comprises four elementary IFA antennae, each elementary IFA antenna comprising a ground plane (1), a roof (2), a short-circuit (3) between the ground plane and the roof and an excitation means (4), the four elementary IFA antennae being distributed around an axis (Oz) in a first set of two IFA antennae having substantially equivalent elementary radiations and a second set of two IFA antennae having equivalent elementary radiations, the excitation means (4) of the four elementary IFA antennae being fed by radiofrequency signals of like amplitude whereof the phases follow a law which is substantially progressive in quadrature by rotation around the axis.

    Abstract: Reflections on the aerial system of a fill level radar result in reduced measuring quality at short range. Small echo signals at short range can thus disappear in the noise. According to one embodiment of the present invention a parabolic aerial for a fill level radar is stated, which parabolic aerial comprises a parabolic mirror, an exciter and a diffusion disc. The diffusion disc is used for laterally removing interfering electromagnetic waves that would otherwise be absorbed by the exciter. In this way the decay behaviour at short range can be reduced.
