The assembly comprises a mirror support bracket for supporting a rear-view mirror in a position which at least partly resides within a swept volume of the door. The support bracket is pivotally mounted to the cab and a rod is connected between the support bracket and the door. The mirror pivots upwardly to a position outside said swept volume as the door is opened, effectively ‘leapfrogging’ the door.

However, the room temperature vulcanizing silicone can be mixed with a powdered heat conductor such as diamond dust, aluminum oxide and silicon carbide. Alternatively, the thermally conductive fillet can be made from a segment of thermally conductive rigid material, such as copper, diamond, beryllium, silver and aluminum having an exterior angle matching the interior angle and a thermally conductive plastic such as room temperature vulcanizing silicone or thermally conductive grease, silicone or epoxy applied to surfaces of the exterior angle.
