Abstract: A light-emitting device is provided. The light-emitting device comprises a substrate and a light-emitting element. The substrate comprises a first variable resistor, a second variable resistor, an insulation portion and a carrier. The insulation portion is located between the first variable resistor and the second variable resistor. The carrier is surrounded by the insulation portion, and the light-emitting element is disposed on the carrier. The first variable resistor, the second variable resistor and the insulation portion respectively penetrate the substrate.
Abstract: A display screen assembly is provided. The display screen defines a channel for allowing selective engagement of the display screen. A mount assembly is provided and includes a base for supporting the display screen assembly about a support surface, and a locking assembly that selectively engages the channel to thereby lock the mount assembly to the display screen.

Abstract: A torsion adjusting structure, which is installed on a shaft and a carrying member pivoted on the shaft, includes a gear, a pair of friction washers, and a linkage assembly. The shaft passes through the gear and the friction washers respectively abutted on two opposite surfaces of the gear. The linkage assembly installed on the carrying member has an engaging portion. The linkage assembly is adjusted between an engaging position and a separating position. When the linkage assembly is at the engaging position, the engaging portion engages with the gear for enabling rotation of the carrying member to rotate the gear to rub the friction washers, thereby providing the carrying member with an additional torsion. When the linkage assembly is at the separating position, the engaging portion separates from the gear for maintaining the relative position between the gear and the friction washers.

In one exemplary embodiment, a thermal interface material assembly generally includes a thermal interface material having a first side and a second side and a metallization layer having a layer thickness of about 0.0005 inches or less. The metallization layer is disposed along at least a portion of the first side of the thermal interface material.

The device can be a radio or a fiber optic communications device, for example. The use of such a module can facilitate repair and reconfiguration of the portable computer in the field. Such computers can be used by military personnel, police, emergency medical personnel, fire fighters, and the like.
Abstract: An exemplary flat panel display (2) includes a housing (251 and 255) with a pair of joint members (256 and 257), a display panel (253) accommodating in the housing, a base (21) with a supporting member (210), and a pivot mechanism (23) connecting the supporting member and the joint members. The joint members are integrally formed with the housing, whereby the display panel is pivotable relative to the base. With this configuration, the integrated joint members provide the flat panel display with a simple structure, relatively easy assembly, and reduced cost.
